Had a great time staying here with my family! The house is in a great location and has plenty of space! We loved being so centrally located and being able to walk everywhere from the beach to Wawa to all the local stores in Avalon. Mary Beth was a great host and was very easy to reach and communicate with! She was also very flexible with our check in / check out time, which made a huge difference with our stay and made our time so much more enjoyable! Would definitely come back here again.

We have always gone to Sea Isle but wanted to give Avalon a try. The price for this house could not be beat! The proximity to mini golf, ice cream, the arcade, shops, and Kohler’s Bakery was perfect! Parts of the house are a little “worn” but everything was clean.

This house is perfect for our 2 families with a total of 9 people. Everyone had their own bed - with a boys and girls suite upstairs that share a bathroom and 2 solo bedrooms for the adults. The location is absolutely perfect. You can walk to everything you need - Wawa, Hoys, Supermarket, all the Shops, mini golf, and ice cream. The owner is an absolute gem. She communicates regularly about everything - which is so nice. She is very responsive and willing to do anything to make your stay great - which ours was. I highly recommend this property to anyone who loves a great vacation - because that is what our family had here - thank you Mary Beth.

Truly a home! You will feel comfortable and at home the moment you step inside. It was clean and well furnished. Convenient to the shops and restaurants in Avalon. It was fantastic to have use of the garage to store bikes and chairs. Awesome home and look forward to returning.

This house was absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t ask for a better location on the island. Multiple decks each provides great views of both the ocean and bay. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, my family really enjoyed our time here.

My family and I stayed here for a week and had a great time. The property owner (Mary Beth) was very easy to work with and attentive to any question. The house is clean and spacious and a good fit for families. The location put you in walking distance of the beach, the bay and Dune Drive (the main street for shops and restaurants). We would definitely rent this house again.

This is a great house for a family looking to stay in the heart of Avalon. It’s on a street right off the center of town so great for kids to head over to mini golf and ice cream. Also very convenient to grab coffee, breakfast items, lunch, etc without getting in your car. It’s walking distance to the beach, but we rode our bikes since it’s still a few blocks away. Every beach has a place to lock up your bikes. The house has a great set up. It’s a two family, but very private. The owner and her family stay in the house behind so it’s not other renters. The house was clean and spacious. Kitchen is well stocked. We had access to the garage which was nice to store bikes and chairs. Good WiFi and flat screen tv in he living room. We brought our fire stick to have access to Netflix, etc. The owner is very communicative and she is great! They let us drop our luggage off early in the garage and it was easy to check in. She’s very accommodating and responsive to questions. Directions for maintaining the house were very clear. I will note the location is a little noisy/busy since you’re right near town. But, never to the point of bad disruption or anything. Thanks for a great stay!

This was our first time to 'the seven mile island', which includes Avalon and Stone Harbor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and the location was great! The street itself was quiet, but just a short walk to mini-golf, 5 & 10, grocery store, WaWa, restaurants and liquor store. Also, it was a quick walk to the beach - 0.4 miles to be exact. The majority of us walked each day, however, there was a parking lot and restrooms next to the dune entrance which we utilized rather than lugging the sand chairs, cooler and toddlers. The house itself was perfect - well appointed, with an outside shower, and several balconies. What was really great was while we had three couples and 2 small children, each couple had their own bathroom for privacy. The owner was very responsive! Of all things, the microwave konked out while we were there and was making a teririble noise so we had to shut it off at the breaker. Within several hours of notifying her, the fix-it guy was there, took measurements and came back to install a brand new one. I couldn't have arranged that type of turn-around on my own home, so we truly appreciate the responsiveness! Definetely, will look to rent again.

We rented this property for our family beach vacation with my parents, siblings and their spouses, and my husband and daughter. It had just enough space to accommodate us all but the layout of the house makes the most of the space it has to offer. The kitchen and living area are relatively open and there are several great decks to enjoy. Best of all the house is located an easy walk to the beach and a close walk to lots to do in town (mini golf, ice cream, shopping, etc.). The owner was very communicative thought our rental process and made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay!

We enjoyed the location, the bedroom setup, the porches, the rooftop, the garage and the close communication with the owner. We’ll be back!

This home is in an awesome location. Perfect for teens as it’s very close to food and entertainment. The owner was wonderful and we discovered we had much in common- small world!

This was our first time in the Cape May area and it could not have been a better experience. Avalon is a quaint and quiet town. This home is quite literally in a perfect location. Only a few short block walk to nearly anything and everything you would need. Right in the heart of the downtown area of Avalon. It is a very spacious home. We were two families- 4 adults, three teenagers, and one preteen. There were just enough beds and bathrooms for us to feel completely comfortable. The kitchen was very nicely stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. the rooftop deck - the only one like it that we saw anywhere- gave the most amazing views of both the bay and ocean. We watched the sunset every night from the roof. The beach is about three blocks away and while walkable, we chose to drive and drop off our things most days just because we liked taking coolers and chairs and umbrellas. But it was easy to do quick drop offs and pick ups. The 26-27th blocks of the beach were quiet and not too packed. The owner was easy to communicate with and she left us beach tags to use for our stay. We would definitely return to this home for a future trip!

Our family had such a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. There was so much space for us, it was clean and we really did feel right at home. Mary Beth is the most gracious host, and we appreciated her being easy to reach and open to us really using her home as if it were our own. I hope we have the opportunity to stay there again sometime in the future!

We rented Beth's home for our first family vacation after our daughter was born. She made special arrangements to accomodate our infant and was generally great to deal with. The house is clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The location close to the beach and a block from all the shops couldn't be better. All the decks get a great breeze and there's a beautiful view of the sunset over the bay in the evenings. you can't go wrong with this place!

The property is kept very well, lots of room for the 5 adults and 3 children. Large dining table was great and very convenient. Loved the porches available and outside shower is such a plus. The location was great, close to restaurants, ice cream (think my family tried all), golf and playgrounds. M.B. Kept communication easy...grateful for a wonderful week! 👍🏼

House is very clean and laid out with the extended family in mind. Has everything you need for your stay. Close to restaurants, shopping, convenience store, and activities. No need for the car as you can walk everywhere. Multiple decks are handy for anyone wanting to get away. Roof deck is great for catching the sunrise! We hope to stay here in the future!

Had a great stay in the Back House recently. House is very clean, GREAT location and has everything you need. Layout is nice with the bedrooms on the first floor and living space upstairs. Helps keep the noise away from people sleeping. Could not ask for a better location. Walking distance to everything -- Pirate Golf, Kohlers Bakery, Hoy's 5&10, Avalon Market, and tons of places to eat. Plenty of room for 2-3 cars in the driveway and enough street parking. Would definitely stay here again!!
