Great stay overall. Nice rooms and pleasant and helpful staff. Great amenities including beach chairs and towels. Only suggestion would be to have coffee/tea offered in lobby. In room coffe machines not working

Fabulous stay for a girls weekend! The only reason for giving a four for service was the cleaning staff never serviced our room after night one. We had to call the front desk for towel service.

We typically stay at their sister property next door but our first time at the Icona Windrift was an exceptional experience. The room & restaurants were amazing and the staff were courteous and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at I W was mostly pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable, airy, and bright. However, we were taken aback by a 12% resort fee at checkout, which was not disclosed upfront. This additional fee for amenities felt excessive, especially given the already high room rate. Moreover, we were disappointed to see a sign at the pool in the morning indicating it was out of service, only to later notice several people using it while the sign remained. After returning to the hotel around 9 pm following a long boat ride, we discovered that none of the restaurants were accepting diners. Considering it was summer, the restaurants could have stayed open later. On a positive note, the supervisor was excellent and managed to find some food for us despite the late hour. Special thanks to Simone from the maintenance staff, who went above and beyond to find us creamer. Unable to locate any dry creamers at the desk, she fetched fresh creamer from the restaurant fridge.

This used to be my go to place, but we were not told of the construction around the property and the noise and parking obstructions and swimming pool was closed when we arrived.
We certainly don’t mind paying higher prices for exemplary food, but found the drink and food prices for average meals didn’t seem worth it.

We enjoyed our stay at the start of summer season at Windrift. Staff were super friendly and accomodating, we were able to checkin early.
Loved all the amenities: EV charging, beach loungers and umbrella set up, pool area.
Not overly crowded as most of the guest were from 2 wedding paries and busy with festivities

The entrance is poorly designed and uninviting. The signage directing people to the office is non-existent. The room was clean, bathroom was nicely done and the shower was excellent. The beds were comfortable and the price for the room was reasonable.

Very nice and convenient property. Having beach service for umbrellas and chairs is awesome. Staff was excellent except for 2-3 people who seemed like they didn’t like their jobs.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was as expected, clean. Could use better ventilation in the bathroom, towels never dried. Overall good stay and so easy to the beach. Thought the price was high with the additional fees and then an added amenity fee once we checked in.

Fun resort with very comfortable beds. Location is convenient and this resort along with the Icona property offer loads of dining and bar options. Loved it here. Only downside, valet and shuttle can be very difficult during peak times. Recommend self park and Uber for return trips. The shuttle was perfectly fine leaving the resort though!

Having stayed at an Icona property before, I was looking forward to enjoying the pool and hot tub but found the hot tub was overrun by young kids whose parents were nowhere to be seen. When I mentioned this to staff, no one really wanted to take action. The other aspects of my stay were decent from the food to entertainment though we found it silly that they wanted to charge to sit in certain areas of the tiki bar that had nice furniture/fire pit and so that stayed empty. There are a lot of great places to walk to and eat in Stone Harbor.

Fantastic resort, clean, newly renovated. Friendly staff everywhere. Great beach, amenities also great. Good Food no need to go outside the resort the entire time. Will definitely stay there again.

It’s clean n location amazing !! The only thing the pillows . My neck suffered after couple days n they don’t have kids pillows . Otherwise love n will come back !

Hands down the best hotel in Avalon! You can’t beat the beach front, beautiful pool, friendly staff, live music nightly, delicious menu options and beautiful rooms with private terraces. Their recent remodel is beautiful but it still maintains the Windrift vibe of years gone by - a major plus!

The only thing I would tell people is to bring a shower caddy for the shower. There’s only one small shelf inside the shower. At least that’s what our room had.
