Esta acogedora cabaña de invitados recientemente remodelada es su boleto para unas relajantes vacaciones en el excitante área del sur de California. Esta gran suite principal y sala de estar con cocina duerme 4, con 1 cama queen, 1 sofá cama y un colchón de aire queen de piso (bajo petición). Tendrá una entrada cerrada privada y estacionamiento para un máximo de 2 vehículos.
Disfrute de este hermoso espacio de 750 pies cuadrados con paneles de madera de leño, techos abovedados, baño privado y amplio walk-in closet. El apartamento también incluye su entretenimiento de verano con juegos, películas, wifi, tablas de surf y mucho más a pedido.

Dad and I stayed in the safari cabin to play some golf and watch my son play in a soccer tournament! Cabin is super clean, quiet, pool and hot tub are outstanding! Did some chipping and putting on the greens in the yard. Was well stocked with many spices and condiments, which was great! Having the coffee pods stocked was a nice plus! Communication with Sandy was great! Will stay again!

I stayed here with my mom and two children (5 years and 7 years). We had the greatest time! The home is beautiful and has just everything that you would ever dream to have. The beds are so comfy, even the pull out bed!! We didn't spend much time at the house, but we did use the pool/hot tub and sitting area one day. They had great floats and toys for the kids to enjoy and the backyard is just so beautiful you could tell you were on vacation staying here. The owners had the sweetest little dog (Roxy) who visited with us, so that was also a huge plus for dog lovers like us! There is so much for kids to enjoy without leaving the place as well: tree rope, horseshoes, golf putting green/sand traps! We felt very safe here and also had privacy. 10/10 would recommend this property and we would love to come back and stay again!

This property was a perfect place to stay for our family’s San Diego vacation! Spacious for my wife and I and our two sons. We were given full access to the large front and back yards with putting green and pool and spa. The host was wonderful- helpful and open to communication. We loved our stay and look forward to going back!

This was a Serene, beautiful property with all of the amenities one would need. The Soap in the shower smelled delicious. The hot tub was wonderful. There were games available, and many snacks. They even had bottled water on the counter and in the fridge upon our arrival, which was nice to have since we hadn't gone to the store yet. The bed was comfortable. The host was available for any needs. We will definitely be back.

Our visit to San Diego was made magical by our stay in this Safari Cabin. Hands-down, this was the best rental we’ve ever stayed in, and we will definitely book this cabin the next time we plan a visit to San Diego. Sandy and Paul thought of everything a family could need when vacationing: a myriad of toiletries and condiments and pantry items, kitchen tools and appliances, spare towels and blankets, board games, play dough, puzzles, office supplies, a cooler for the beach, and more. The shower was spacious and comfortable with great water pressure. The table surfaces had glass tops (yay for not worrying about children and coasters!). My husband and I slept on the pull out sofa in the great room so that we could stay up late being adults and I could make my morning coffee without waking the children. We placed the mattress topper from the bedroom onto the sofa bed, and it made the sofa bed extremely comfortable. This rental is also pretty close to some great places: Sarita’s Taco Shop and Santa Sophia Catholic Church. Per my husband: I felt like I was at a resort, but private. The grounds were beautiful and lush, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You picked good. Per my seven year old: My favorite thing about the safari cabin was the hot tub and water gun. I liked the beautiful cheetah, leopard, and tiger stuffies. Per my six year old: My favorite part was the rope swing! (Verified. It was very difficult to keep her off the rope swing.) We loved our stay! Our hosts comunicated very well and respected our privacy (my family and I mostly keep to ourselves). The Safari Cabin was super clean and organized and was extremely well stocked with anything you might need and more! The master bed was like sleeping on a cloud so very comfortable. My 9 year old daughter slept like a log on the fold out couch and told me she never wants to stay in a hotel again. Check in and check out was very easy and we will be staying at Sandy's the next time we visit San Diego. If you want comfort and quality sleep this place is for you.

Clean, comfortable, cozy cabin, conveniently located twenty minutes from downtown. Peaceful property and nice neighborhood. Stores and restaurants are close. Property owner is a great communicator. Great deal overall. Would recommend to a couple or family with 1-2 kids. Would (and hopefully will) return.

We recently came from Kalamazoo, Michigan to chase the sun and take a family trip. After canceling a stay at a Hilton in Carlsbad, our family decided to book this amazing place and head to San Diego. My husband and I, & our 6 year old son found this awesome guest house. 😀 The location is excellent and the property has everything you need, but you won’t need much because the property has it all. It was clean, comfortable and very spacious. We stayed during cooler times, so we weren’t able to rake advantage of the pool or the hot tub, but it was lit up beautifully at night. We were there for adventures, and we’re pleased with how close it was to San Diego. We spent one day downtown and on Coronado Island, one day at Legoland (✅ off the bucket-list) and had so much fun. 🥳The yard is breathtaking and everyday I woke up and was reminded about my time living in Hawaii - loved seeing the birds of paradise plants just outside the window. Sandy was an exceptional host, responding promptly when needed. She went above and beyond- so much that she did things for us that other hosts wouldn’t have done, and we were grateful.🙏 We highly recommend you book the Safari Cabin and we hope to be back someday again. Many thanks to Sandy & Paul.☺️

This cabin is an ideal vacation rental: quiet location with dedicated parking, comfortable beds and linens, fully equipped kitchen, generous offerings to help a traveler (coffee, snacks, games, etc), access to a pool and jacuzzi, and especially attentive, accommodating and caring hosts. We've been there twice and will return again!

The hosts were very very friendly and accessible -- even greeting us at the door for a very late arrival. We really felt welcomed and appreciated their generous hospitality.

Lovely welcoming couple. Accommodated our requests without hesitation. Enjoyed the pool since temps were in the 90’s. Really appreciated the motion sensor lighting. We came back late some evenings and could easily see our way.

Looking for a wellness retreat, Book the Safari cabin.. Looking for a family friendly vacation spot, Book the safari cabin. Looking for a scenic peaceful retreat, book the safari cabin. I stayed for the entire month of July. Sandy and Paul have really thought out what their guests need. Every conceivable item whether in the kitchen or in the bath was provided. The landscaping both in the front guest area and in their pool area was meticulous, beautiful, and lush. Take your binoculars because it’s a natural Bird sanctuary. You feel as so you are in a Woodland fantasy yet you’re only minutes away from the city. Didn’t bring a beach towel that’s OK they provide plenty. Forgot the corkscrew they had one available. Want to just relax they’re streaming service on their TV was perfect. The hosts were gracious and accommodating. Various times I had my nieces or great nieces over to use the pool. They felt like they were at a resort. Highly recommend it for singles, couples or families.

Had a great week-long stay, and Sandy was wonderful! Her puppies were sweet and the property was amazing. My daughter loved all of the stuffed cats. She was in heaven. The jacuzzi was a godsend after long days of being on our feet and walking. Highly recommended!

Comfy Mt Helix retreat
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cabin, a well-provisioned, comfortable retreat in a very quiet location in La Mesa. The hosts have thought of everything for a traveller: snacks, extra linens & towels, kitchenware for every need, access to the hot tub and pool, dedicated parking with automatic lights at night, and delicious oranges from their tree as a special extra! The Goldens were very attentive and helpful hosts, and we would stay there again.

Home Away From Home
My husband, daughter and I stayed in this lovely home. The property is beautiful and the owners dogs and cats are friendly. My 3 year old loved the cat theme, bean bags and all the toys available to play with. We only wish we had more time to swim in the pool.

All the luxury, comfort and amenities you could dream of in this spacious one-bedroom, one-bath Caseta. Only wish the weather had been nicer so we could have used the pool and enjoyed the Hawaiian inspired backyard! Will book again if we are in the area again.

Wonderful Stay
The property is so tropical looking outside and inside looks modern and clean yet with an outdoorsy feel. The homeowners are very kind and helpful. There were little extras all over that were offered and supplied. My daughter said she wished we lived there! The pool and spa were beautiful. We adored the pets. We would book with this property in a minute. Also want to add that we felt so much safer there than we would have in a time like this (pandemic) at a hotel. Feels homy and Sandy provided cleaning products and so I was able to clean everything constantly just like I do at home right now. My family and I very much got the vacation we needed there. Such nice people we love San Diego and La Mesa, CA plus Mt. Helix and that neighborhood is just so cool. It has views out of this world! The scenery is gorgeous 😍. Highly recommend property. Thank you VRBO, Sandy and Paul!!

We loved our stay! This VRBO was the most well stocked of any we’ve ever stayed at. There were so many kind things provided like the snacks, K-cups, vanity items, shower items, and more. It was very clear of the care and kindness of the owners. The couch and the bed were super comfy and tho hot tub was wonderful after a long day walking at the park. We especially loved the dogs too as we always miss ours when we’re out of town...super sweet. This way a perfect stay, very peaceful and was centrally located between downtown and the Wild Animal Park. Thanks for everything! We hope to come back soon!!
