Bay Cottage es la primera puerta por la que entras cuando subes por la entrada de Ebbingfords, con su propio espacio de estacionamiento fuera de la carretera cerca de su puerta principal. Entras directamente a la sala de estar / comedor, un techo abovedado con una luz del cielo hace de esta una hermosa sala de luz. Sus paredes combinan hermosa piedra antigua con paneles de madera, un rasgo en toda esta antigua mansión. La sala de estar / comedor tiene una pequeña mesa de comedor de roble con dos sillas; un sillón; estufa de leña; TV, CD / Radio con USB / Bluetooth y WiFi disponibles. El dormitorio tiene una cama de matrimonio, un pequeño armario con 3 cajones y más espacio de almacenamiento debajo de la cama. La cocina cuenta con cocina de gas, lavadora y microondas. El baño tiene una ducha sobre un baño de esquina y aseo. Toda la propiedad está en la planta baja y solo unos 500 pies en total con calefacción central de gas. Ropa de cama y toallas incluidas. Jardín con mesa y dos sillas.
Se admiten perros, para razas pequeñas / medianas solo debido al tamaño del alojamiento. El jardín linda con el resto de los terrenos de la mansión, por lo que no es seguro que los perros deambulen libremente.
Ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, Ebbingford es poco conocido incluso en Bude, ubicado en una zona apartada, escondido de los vientos del oeste bajo el sotavento de Efford Down, lo que lo convierte en una maravillosa trampa solar en esos días despejados. This was the third year in a row we've stopped at this property, it is in a superb location and is well suited for exploring the area, my only slight criticism is the property is a bit tired,

Charming and characterful, quirky and comfortable property ideal for a couple and a well behaved dog! - perfect location for Bude Town amenities yet quietly tucked away from the hustle and bustle, own parking area a big plus, lovely owners and friendly people throughout our stay

My Wife & I had a fabulous stay in the Bay Cottage. For two people it has ample space to sit & relax after a long day exploring Glorious Bude & the surrounding area, whilst also enjoying 7 nights of peaceful sleep.
Once you enter the drive to your own dedicated parking space you cannot believe you're only a 5 minute stroll from the nearest pub, the Brendon Arms, the Falcon Hotel & only 10 mins into the centre of town. When we return we would most definitely look at booking this accomodation again.

My second stay was as good as the first! The cottage is well-equipped, very clean and within easy walking distance of the beach, canal and town centre. The Wi-Fi works perfectly as does the tv, cooker, hot water etc. A designated parking place is a real bonus for a town like Bude as is the outside space with table and chairs.

Bay Cottage is just right for our stays when down visiting family nearby. Easy access to the beach, canal and town centre. Parking away from the main road, and safe.
Sounds of the birds waking you in the morning confirms this oasis of peace, despite the town location. Large grounds giving plenty of space to walk your dogs last thing at night.
Owners in easy reach and happy to sort any problems with a smile.

Had a lovely stay at Bay Cottage with our dogs. Fantastic location. A quick 5 minute walk into the centre of Bude. A pub within walking distance. The hosts were onsite and available if required. Just feel the woodwork in the bathroom and kitchen could do with some tlc. Apart from that, the cottage is fine for a week away.

Love this little cottage which is fine for us and our two Cocker Spaniels. Close to the beach, and the heart of Bude but still very secluded. You just don’t realise it’s there from the roadside. Makes it especially quiet, although lovely to wake to birdsong.
Walk to town, the beach or along Bude Canal, all within easy reach. We’ve stayed here a few times now, as so convenient to visit family who live up the road a bit. As the car is parked on the grounds, no hassle with finding parking spaces either.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The main thing for us was its location. The only downside was having no outside space where we could go without the dogs on leads. Even a few enclosed feet would have made the holiday perfect.

Bay Cottage is ideal for 2 adults & a dog, comfortable bed, dinning area & sofa perfect size, everything you could need in the kitchen & bathroom a good size with shower over bath + parking. Ideal location just a stroll from beach, canal, coastal walks & town. The setting is just beautiful with lovely, well-kept grounds, really couldn't have asked for anything better. Would definately stay again & wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Perfect!

The location was perfect, two minutes into the Center! And a short stroll to the beach! Felt at home at the cottage, very comfortable bed slept like a log!
Perfectly equipped for the two of us to either cook in or sit outside.

We stayed in the delightful Bay Cottage with our dog. The cottage was quirky and cosy and very well equipped. The clothes dryer was somewhat rustic and difficult to put up, so gave up and hung towels on the back of the garden chairs to dry! Location was perfect, within 5 minutes walking to town and Summerleaze beach and just a stagger to (and from) the pub! Hosts Jonathan and Gina were friendly and welcoming. We love Bude and we will be back - loved it!

Great cosy cottage in superb location. Well equipped and very obliging hosts. Cannot recommend highly enough if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable and clean to stay whilst visiting Bude and/or surrounding area.

Bay cottage is a lovely little cottage, it is an old building, therefore a bit damp.
It is ideally situated, just a short stroll into Bude and to the beach.
The Brendon Arms pub serves excellent food.

Although we didn’t meet Gina we did communicate through Vbro regarding the Wi-Fi. All was resolved within minutes.
The cottage was very quaint and it was big enough for the two of us and our large dog. Everything was provided for in the cottage, towels, hand soap and other little bits. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great too.The decor is very nice and the cottage itself is very clean. The fire place is a lovely feature too, and we did use this during our stay.Super convenient for the beach and walking distance to the town centre. We come to Bude twice a year to visit friends and we really enjoyed our stay at Bay Cottage. Thank you :).

Generally well described and tastefully furnished. A bit dated, especially kitchen and bathroom. Enough pans, dishes for the two of us, but just enough. Could have done with more than two teaspoons - a little mean when you have to stop eating your boiled egg to stir your tea. Lovely grounds and friendly owners.

Fabulous peaceful cottage in a brilliant central location, with all the amenities needed for a great holiday and a lovely comfy bed! We enjoyed lots of coastal walks, beach walks and even saw a kingfisher on the canal walk. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Second visit and just super convenient for us. Beach within walking distance,. You wake to the sound of the birds, even though very well placed to access Bude. Some amazing trees in the grounds and parking within a few yards of the door. Booked to return again, as so easy to visit family in the area.

Perfect location and everything you need!
Very well equipped and comfortable cottage on a superb location. Only a few minutes from the town and coastal path yet quiet and private due to its being set back from the main road. The bed was really comfortable, shower powerful and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Perfect stay
Perfectly located with lovely walks, restaurant’s and pubs so close - yet tranquil. Very clean and the hosts were friendly but not intrusive.

Lovely Apartment
Bay Tree Cottage is a perfect getaway place for us and our two Cocker Spaniels. Literally within walking distance of the beach, yet well back from main roads. We liked it so much we have already booked again for Springtime. The Owners are closeby in the event of problems, but not looking over your shoulder either.

Absolute gem!
My daughter and I have just returned from a week at Bay Cottage and the property is an absolute gem!
Exceptionally clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for our break. The cottage itself is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. It's also just a few minutes walk from both beach and town. Hosts were incredibly friendly and it was fantastic to attend two live shows in the manor garden while we were there. Can't wait to go back!

Lovely stay in Bude
We had a great week in Bude staying at Bay Cottage. The location is perfect within easy walking distance of town centre, beaches and canal. The cottage was provided with all essentials and it was a nice welcome to be provided with tea/coffee and fresh milk on arrival. Very friendly hosts who were available if required.
