Booked a room at Laketown Wharf for my family and kids, little did I know we would encounter someone who tried to kidnap my kid, gained the access code to our rooms and gave very sketchy vibes. Left the hotel without even checking out just to be safe. Please watch your kids closely as there has been a history of sex traffickers at this resort.

Short stay
We only stayed a couple of nights to break up our drive back home. It was a nice location. Rooms are dated but not terrible. Pretty standard beach condo. Great location with just a short walk to the beach.

Nice place but need new cleaning people
The location was right in the middle of Panama City, so if you are looking for the excitement, this is the place for you! We enjoyed having easy beach access, and how close shops were within walking distance. Also, there were plenty of restaurants near by. Juan Taco being our favorite! Honestly, everything you need is right there! We only encountered two negative things. The wait time for elevators (I heard some saying they waited over an hour) and the cleaning of the condo was not up to my standards. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of dishes for cooking, nice and roomy area throughout also. There was food left on the back balcony, thick dust on top of pictures, and the main bathroom didn’t appear to be cleaned at all. The mirror was nasty with something all over it and water splashed, the sink appeared to have toothpaste dried in it, and I found SEVERAL hairs left behind all in that bathroom. Food and stuff splattered on the walls in the kitchen, the fridge hadn’t even been wiped out. So, no complaints about the actual condo, but I truly hope that the owners hire new cleaning staff because I wasn’t the only review complaining about this.

Not as expected
This condo looks great in the pictures but in actuality it’s old and needs some tlc. The carpet is in desperate need of being replaced and the bed in the master is horrible! The elevators are old, hot and take forever!!!! Our teenagers walked up the 16 flights and made it to the room before we did waiting on the elevator. There was a huge cockroach on the patio. The only positive about this place was the proximity to the beach, Walmart and the pools. Would not recommend this condo and will not be back!

It was located near many PCB attractions. We drove to Seaside ( took about 25 minutes) and spent the day.

Very roomy loved the brightness with the different colors and pictures and furniture. Was totally worth it. Even being across the street from the beach it wasn’t a far walk.

Found dog treat in living room. Found cigarette butt on balcony. I don’t have a dog or do I smoke could have vacuumed better. Also not enough bath rags in whole place.

Girls trip
The refrigerator racks were rusted, so we could not store food. The towel racks in the bathroom fell off of the wall, there was a hole in the ceiling that water leaked from, there was hair in the shower from a previous vacationer. When I reported the issue the property manager did send someone over to fix what they could and I received a credit.

Great Vacation Spot!
This place is right in the middle of everything! This place is beautiful and HUGE!! Great Lake view from the balcony. Walmart was right across the street for groceries. The only downside Would be the elevators take FOREVER. It would benefit a lot with more elevators or even just more spacious elevators! Overall, it’s a great place to stay!!

PANAMA CITY
We traveled from Louisiana for a weekend stay. We definitely enjoyed. Everything is so close by most within walking distance. The beach is across the street. Lots to do. The resort was nice. Only thing I would suggest is better elevator service. At times we had to wait for an elevator for nearly 30 minutes to get to the 16th floor. Sometimes we took the stairs. But will DEFINITELY be back!

It was nice
The room was very nice and extremely clean. The view of the lake was beautiful and we watched the laser light show which was nice. My only complaint is that the beds all squeak. I am a really light sleeper so any time anyone moved, it woke me up. And there were no garbage bags for the kitchen garbage can. I didn’t think to bring any with me, but we were only staying for a short time so no big deal. But other than that, it was a great place and the decor was very minimal and eye catching. It was a nice place.

Great place to stay! Beach access right across the street at Pineapple Willy’s. Roof top pool has perfect view of the beach! We’ll be back!

The condo itself was nice. The master bed was terrible. Definitely needs to be replaced. The grounds need more elevators, and we were disappointed that the pool bar and restaurant never opened.

The location was great. The condo was nice but it did have some spots in floor. We also only got three beach towels for 5 people.
The elevator was crap it didn’t work half the time and took almost a hour to get down stairs. The pools where not open the whole time. The main pool was closed and one of the hot tubs.
There is no help getting bags to you condo. All buggy racks where gone and the lady said it be a few hours before one was turned in so we could use it to take our stuff up.
Want stay there again it’s not a good deal for the money.
I could have dealt with the pool being closed if the elevator would have been working right.

Beautiful View
Had a couple of cleaning mishaps that I had to report as soon as I checked in. There are no instructions on how to operate the multiple remote controls for the TV’s. The WiFi address wasn’t what was in the lease agreement so I had to try to figure that out. The mattress was noisy and seemed thin. But other than that, I enjoyed my stay here. Beautiful property, great view from the balcony, and the Vacasa staff were very responsive with each issue. I’d stay here again!

Laketown Wharf a feeling of a Great Resort
Love the area and the amenities of Laketown Wharf. This was my 4th time @ Laketown and it never disappoints. The Condo was awesome for the money considering there was no view of the water. Condo is very clean and gives you the feeling of relaxation, The 1 and only complaint with the is the Master Mattress, it was the worst... Considering everything else in to Condo the Mattress was like a squeaky box spring with a very thin mattress cover. It would even be Great for the Owner to buy some type of Foam Pad of sorts.
