Beautiful 5 bedroom villa with 17 metre pool and stunning views. Reg VTAR/MA/02
Villa Olivia es nuestro hogar lejos de casa en España y, como tal, es mucho más que un alquiler típico.
La casa se alza sobre una colina debajo de Frigiliana, nuestro pueblo blanco local, con impresionantes vistas al valle y al mar. Cuenta con 5 habitaciones, 3 dobles y 2 dobles, todas con aire acondicionado o ventiladores de techo, y cuatro baños.
La amplia extensión de la terraza de la piscina cuenta con una piscina de 17 metros, que es ideal para esas mañanas. Ofrecemos tumbonas para 10 personas, así como mesas y sillas. Hay otras dos terrazas y tres zonas ajardinadas mantenidas, puestas en el césped con una variedad de buganvillas, hibiscos, árboles frutales y muchos lugares con sombra.
Comer al aire libre está a la orden del día, ya que la ventana de la cocina se abre hacia la terraza principal, para formar un bar, donde hay asientos para 10 personas y una nueva barbacoa de gas. Hay persianas ajustables para lograr cualquier nivel de sombra que pueda necesitar para asegurarse de que el hielo en su Gin & Tonic no se derrita. Si le apetece almorzar junto a la piscina, hay una barbacoa incorporada en la terraza de la piscina, así como una nevera y fregadero.
La casa está equipada con wifi gratuito y TV del canal principal del Reino Unido. También hay un reproductor de DVD con una extensa biblioteca de títulos, un sistema de música para CD y una estantería completa.
La cocina está bien equipada con vajilla, cubertería y vasos, y está equipada con cafetera, tostadora, lavavajillas y nevera-congelador de estilo americano con máquina para hacer hielo. Hay una lavadora y secadora en el cuarto de servicio, así como una secadora portátil para secar al aire libre
Tenemos un administrador de propiedad local que mantiene la piscina y está disponible para resolver cualquier problema o realizar reparaciones menores.
Proporcionamos un libro de instrucciones, que le dice todo lo que necesita saber sobre cómo funcionan las cosas y le da recomendaciones de lugares de interés locales, restaurantes, etc.
Estamos muy interesados en que te sientas como en casa y la única regla que nos gustaría que observaras es llevar vasos de plástico a la piscina.
Se puede llegar a Frigiliana a pie y hay un servicio regular de autobuses a Nerja, pero le recomendamos que alquile un automóvil, ya que hay algunos lugares maravillosos para ver cerca, así como excursiones de un día a Granada, Córdoba y Sevilla.

Spacious villa in elevated location, stunning views to sea and great sunsets. Fully equipped both inside and out, huge pool. Plenty of room for our 2 families with 4 teenage children. Bus connections to nearby towns of Nerja and Frigiliani (very picturesque). Would very much recommend.

We had a lovely stay in Villa Olivia. The villa was spacious and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The pool was a great size for us all, as was the balcony when we needed to escape the sun. Air conditioning would have been welcomed downstairs.

We had a fantastic holiday in Villa Olivia. The villa itself is amazing - very spacious inside, large swimming pool, well kept gardens, table tennis area, large shaded terrace for relaxing and outdoor meals, and of course the awesome views over the countryside and to the sea. Everything at the villa was clean and well-maintained.
We enjoyed walking up to the picturesque village of Frigiliana for evening meals, and took the car for the short drive to visit Nerja and the nearby supermarkets.
We can definitely recommend this villa and hopefully we’ll get the chance to return.

We stayed a week with our family. Great house, lovely large pool, incredible views. Lots of shade. Easy to reach from Nerja and Frigiliana. Inside everything you need. Climate control was great. Beds are always personal, but mattresses were overly firm and pillows not very comfortable. All in all, a great stay.

We stayed in Oct 23. The villa is as described and pictured on VRBO and it was very clean and comfortable. The highlights are the external areas with great outdoor eating areas, pool (which although unheated was at a very comfortable temperature) and gardens. There have been comments that the downstairs bedrooms are not airconditioned but they were fine when we stayed.
There is space for two cars to park off road but I do feel you do need a car here. Nerja and Frigiliana are both very close and very nice places to visit and eat - lively but not boisterous. We didn't have a bad meal in either place.
Everybody in my group had an excellent stay and we were sad to leave.
One tip: If you want to go to Granada and see the Alhambra book online well in advance (8 weeks to be safe). It books up and there are no longer any tickets available on the day despite what it says online. We missed it so will have to go again.

It‘s a very nice villa with a fantastic view over the valley to the sea. Ian was answering very fast and we definitely would recommend to join this beautiful and calm place!

A really beautiful house with a large pool and fantastic views down to the Mediterranean. We know the area well and love the proximity to the coast and into the hills for places like Frigliana. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed at this villa for a week. Great setting, fantastic views, easy access. The pool is fantastic! It was perfect for our family. Ian the owner was very easy to contact and replied very quickly before and during our stay. Local and restaurant information provided was very good. Thanks Ian we had a great week!

We had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful villa that offered breathtaking views, a wonderful neighborhood, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking enthusiasts like us. The villa's terrace was spacious and cozy, and the swimming pool was large and inviting. The garden added a nice touch to the overall ambiance. The host of the villa provided us with recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit that we used. Overall we are very happy about our stay

The property is ideal for a family. In our case we were five adults and four children. Being there in early August , with daily temperatures in the mid 30s meant the pool was a blessing, particularly for the children. The property is also blessed with a large well maintained garden, offering views down the valley to the sea.
One improvement I would make is the addition of ac in the two downstairs bedrooms. During our stay the ceiling fans proved inadequate, though is suspect only in the hottest months of the year. Despite this minor inconvenience, I would happily return to Villa Olivia, and have already recommended the property and area to a number of friends.
Lastly, I would like to thank Ian, the owner for his assistance and advice in making this a memorable holiday for us all.

We were 2 families with 4 kids between us but they are all pretty grown up these days. The house was so perfect for us. Large open shared spaces and very generously sized bedrooms. The house is well equipped for large groups as well. We walked up to Frigiliana a few times (short but steep 2km walkl) which was lovely. And explored the beach and town side of Nerja. We did the kayaking trip one afternoon and it was a great experience. We found the notes from Ian invaluable.
Over all a fantastic and much needed holiday. Thanks to Ian and family for sharing his beautiful villa.

Paradise
This is a great house with responsive owners and no problems arising during our stay. The views are spectacular. Multiple porches, big swimming pool deck, comfortable chairs and lounges. It's close to Nerja and restaurants and shopping or the beach. Less than 60 min from the airport. Barely 60 min to Granada and the Alhambra. The caves are close by. One of the best places we've ever stayed. Supreme comfort and space.

Excellent villa in a lovely location
The villa was fabulous, the pool is brilliant especially in these Covid times. Our children hardly left the pool for 2 weeks. The house has all the conveniences you need for self catering, loads of room, beautiful grounds and oh what a view! We'd have liked air con downstairs but as we spent most evenings on the terrace enjoying the sultry evenings it is a minor issue. And the maintenance company came round in less than an hour to sort out an electrics issue with the lights around the pool so all in all a brilliant place to spend 2 weeks.

Pure bliss
What a wonderful location and villa. The views are beautiful along with a wonderful pool and terraces. There were 5-8 of us over 2 weeks...all working/zooming as a respite from London and NYC. Our trainer joined us and did his online zoom classes poolside. So peaceful. The kitchen is especially well equipped. Pool furniture needs an upgrade but otherwise all fine.

Great place to stay
We had a full house with myself my wife our adult children and their partners, everyone thought the property was amazing, plenty room for anyone who wanted a quiet time and large enough pool to have some great fun .
The house was lovely and clean well maintained and very comfortable beds .
I would recommend a car due to location however we managed to get the bus to Nerja each night for our evening meals
Looking forward to going back soon

Despite arriving in a storm Villa Olivia lived up to expectations immediately, with beautiful gardens set in a quiet road. Once inside we found that it was spotlessly clean and well organised, making us feel at home. Having enjoyed many villa holidays over the years, with family and friends I would say that Villa Olivia distinguishes itself by its perfectly equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, beautiful views and a great sized pool. We had a relaxing, fun holiday.

Lovely property, beautiful views, fantastic pool and a wonderful place for a family holiday! Frigiliana isa five minute drive for a beautiful historic town and Nerja just a ten minute drive for a great family seaside resort and lots going on.
Could be slightly improved by adding air con to the two downstairs bedrooms.

Amazing views. Fantastic villa equipped with everything you could possibly need. Couldn't get the children/adults out of the pool. Everywhere spotlessly clean from outside terraces /pool area /bbq area/interior. Gardens were extremely well kept and maintained. All in all an exceptional villa & location. Hope to be back soon!!!!

Best villa we've stayed in, would highly recommend it.
Villa was bigger and much better than we expected. Pool was excellent as we're all the facilities. Felt like a home from home. Convenient location for both Frigliana and Nerja. Only negative would be lack of air con in 2 downstairs bedrooms, but it was very hot when we stayed.
