We arrived soaked to the bone and we could immediately get into the room and got offered a heater. There is a washing machine so we could wash our clothing. It also has a common kitchen that you can use with fridge. Room is nice and clean, there is a nice atmosphere.

Beautiful and perfectly clean rooms with wooden floor. Well equipped guest kitchen. Hot shower and heater in the room. Very friendly hosts. Host offers taxi-service.

Just to mention: It's one balcony for all rooms. In the german description it might sound as if the rooms have private balconies.

The view from my bedroom of the church and mountain backdrop was spectacular. The room was large, modern and very clean. Considering enclosed showers seem to be non-existent in some parts of Georgia, the fact that there was a squeegee mop to drain the excess water after a shower was convenient. Property is situated away from main street, so it was quiet at night. Bed was very comfortable. There was space for parking my motorbike, which was great! They also have a beautiful garden overlooking the river. I wish I could have spent more time relaxing in garden. Breakfast and dinner were unavailable during my stay; however, there are kitchen facilities for guests to make and store just about anything. There is also a washing machine for guests ro use. The host was lovely and spoke enough English. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I were to ever return to Mestia.

It sure is the best Guest House we stayed at during the 2 months that we traveled through Georgia, is incredible, sincere care and warm attitudes towards guests! Everything is new, cleanliness is impeccable, the sheets and towels are white and of quality, hot water for your shower, a beautiful view of the mountains, the shared kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals, washing machine. Also supermarkets and the center are within walking distance. We are already missing the affection we received from this beautiful family, and also the delicious food they shared with us! Thank you so much for everything, including kindly storing our luggage for 4 days while we trekked in the mountains, that was amazing! Thank you so much!

This is the best guest house we have stayed in all of Georgia. It is super clean with comfy beds, instant hot water and quiet at night for a good sleep. The shared kitchen is a bonus and is kept spotlessly clean. But the outstanding feature of Gurambaba is the absolutely beautiful family that runs it. They genuinely care about their guests and are so helpful and generous. They gave us homemade yoghurt, bread and jam which were delicious. We feel very lucky that we chose Gurambaba and highly recommend staying here.

The host and her family were supper supportive and kind. The house and the kitchen was super clean. From the balcony you can see mountaines and hear the river. It was great! We could wash our clothes there. We highly recommend it.

Perfect location, just a short walk away from Mestias centre. It's a lovely guesthouse, greeted by a lady who lives next door. Will help and provide with anything in need. Guesthouse has a common kitchen to be used, to prepare all the meals. Kitchen is well equipped. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Very warm also with always warm water. Highly recommend Guesthouse Guram Baba to anyone visiting Mestia!

It’s not right in the center but I would recommend it anyway because we felt really welcome and comfortable. Perfect guesthouse after a long hiking day! :)

Clean and comfortable room, cute garden and nice host

Comfy spasious room, new furniture, extra clean. There is fully equiped kitchen but we ordered breakfasts and dinners and it was right decision. The homemade food were delicious, portions were big and more than enough. The big family of owners very friendly and helpful and we felt us like at home. Great place for long staying in Mestia.

By far the best place we slept at in Svaneti. Clean and comfortable rooms, quiet location and very friendly hosts. The optional breakfast was also great!

We simply loved our stay at guram Baba. Lia is such a nice owner and thanks to google Translator communication was also possible. Got to try delicious cherries from her garden, home made Cheese, mik, yoghurt.... felt more like a guest than paying Customers. Also everything was super clean and there was eben a washing machine we were allowed to use. Absolutely recommendable! Thank you so much!

The Guesthouse was easy to find, there are signs leading to it from the main road, it is in one of the back streets, and you can park the car in front of the house. There is a shortcut if you want to walk to the center, it is only a 5-minute easy walk, so the location is overall good. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable. Very basic accommodation, and it would do the trick for most travelers, but nothing special.

The Guram Baba is definitely overrated! I have no idea how it got this rating. The service was very poor, they barely spoke any English and communication mostly goes through Google translate. What they promote as the "mountain view" is definitely not that, or we got the wrong room. In the bathroom, you don't have a shower tub, you shower in the middle of the room, above the toilet seat and lavatory, and of course, make the entire floor wet. When we arrived, the toilet seat was broken (both my friend and I have around 90kg, definitely cannot break the thing while using it normally. The shower head was also broken, and we showered with just a hose. We did not have soap nor shower gel. All of these would not be a problem as we are most definitely not demanding guests, we are used to camps and cheap hostels. The problem was when they accused us of breaking the seat and the showerhead and demanded that we pay around 5 euros for it. We explained that the stuff was old and that we did not break it (how do you break a toilet seat?) As we already left the place, we offered to come back to clarify the situation, and we did come back, but they insisted that we did the damage and that they would not give the room which was damaged to the guests. We paid 25GEL just to avoid a further argument, and as it was our mistake not to report it immediately or took photos of the damage. Also, I forgot to mention, the WiFi did not work at all. Very bad experience, which is really difficult to get in Georgia as everyone is friendly, welcoming, and kind, thus our disappointment was greater.
