Wonderful home 2min walk to Beach on private beach road, close to West Wittering

Great spacious family holiday home. Very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Comfortable beds and easily able to accommodate our family of 6 adults and 3 young children.
We loved the large enclosed garden, perfect for the youngsters to play safely after a day at the beach. Perfect too for the adults to relax with a drink while doing the BBQ. Plenty garden chairs & large table. Sandy beach at west wittering worth the short drive.

We all enjoyed our stay, it’s always lovely to get together.
The house was very well equipped and we had a lovely BBQ on the Saturday before watching the England football team win in the semifinals.
A lovely meal at Billy’s where we had delicious fish and chips, mussels and fish curry after numerous starters.
Thank you also for the warm welcome of flowers and bread and chocolates. Wonderful surprise.

This is a great house for a large family with a very short walk to the sea and pebble and sand beach.
The 5th bedroom if needed does not have access to a bathroom without going outside which we didn’t realise until just before our stay.
More cleaning equipment would be good as there wasn’t a hoover only a small broom without even a dustpan and with four children under 7 staying this made keeping floors clean difficult.

We were blown away by this property; tastefully decorated, fabulous location in a private road, 1 minute from the beach, sleeping 12 of us comfortably with ample room to sit, socialise and eat. The garden is huge with large seating and lawn areas. We were blessed with sunshine and thoroughly enjoyed drinks and a BBQ on the patio, There were SUPs, surfboards and other equipment available for guests use; unfortunately it was too windy to take advantage but a lovely extra touch. The beds were all comfortable; everyone slept really well and there was plenty of extra bedding. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, crockery etc and there are 3 bathrooms. The house was very clean throughout and there was more than enough off road parking for our 3 cars. Esther is a fantastic host, great communication and was extremely kind to let us check in a little early and check out a little late. We were all very sad to leave; we made happy memories at Hilsea celebrating my mother’s 80th birthday. Thank you so much for allowing us to spend time there. Highly recommended!

So many positives about this super place.
Location is wonderful. Literally a minute from the beach and an easy walk to local shop, coffee shop and amazing pizza! Just a few minutes drive to East Wittering with all you would expect from a small seaside resort.
Property itself was fantastic! A really great space and exactly as described. What surprised us was the beautiful garden and the equipment for water sports (we didn't use it, but was all available). This fab home has everything you could possibly need/want from a holiday let.
We will definitely be returning if you'll have us!

We had a lovely time at Esters. The house was as described with a lovely large garden we could let the kids run riot in.
We had 5 kids altogether aged (5-9 years) and the house was perfect for them all.

11 adults and 4 children enjoyed a lovely weekend here. Plenty of space for everyone, well equipped kitchen, large garden for letting off steam and unused energy after building sandcastles on the beach opposite. We didn't have time to use the surfboards or kayak but family members said we must come back later in the year.

We had a great stay at Hilsea. The beach is very close by and the house was extremely well equipped. The host was able to sort out our check-in problem swiftly which was appreciated.

The house provides some great facilities and is in a lovely location, but the description about beds and bedrooms is badly inaccurate and the pricing is way above the average price shown. Even out of season in January it cost us over 70% above the average price shown!

Great house - really nice to relax and catch up with family. House was well equipped. The only negative was the oven and cooker could probably do with replacing - cooking Christmas dinner in small old cooker was challenging.

We had a lovely time at the house - the house itself is spacious, well equipped and we had the choice of twin or doubles. Everything we needed was provided with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable bedrooms and seating areas. The garden and house are immaculate. The weather was beautiful so we took advantage of the paddle boards and spent the afternoon relaxing on the beach (which is a two minute walk).
I am already looking at renting the property again next year. Highly recommended.

The house is spacious and well equipped with a beautiful private garden. The road is quiet and the beach a short walk away. Bracklesham Bay is not busy like West Wittering and a short drive from Chichester and oyher attractions. Very suitable for young children.

Lovely house. Lots of living space for a large family group. Beach is over the (quiet) road. Everything you could need. Beds v comfy. Could’ve done with more storage space in the bedrooms, and another fridge. 6 adults and 2 kids need lots of food (and drink). Oh and a toilet/sink nearer the smaller bedrooms would’ve been good. Adults and kids had to trail across the house in the night which wasn’t great. I am being picky tho. It really is a great place.
Area very quiet. Couple of nice cafes - one a fair walk and another a long walk. Didn’t see lots of places to eat out in the evening tho. One we found was too full to accommodate us.
Beach is pebbles with flat wet sand when tide is out. Great for jumping in the surf but too rough for kids when we were there. West Wittering was better for a beach day with kids.
Enjoyed a very relaxing break with family - despite the weather which wasn’t great - in fact really horrible at times. Had one or maybe two decent days. Portsmouth rescued us for stuff to do on rainy days.

We were traveling with immediate family and friends with two kids also. It was a little tricky because Google maps couldn’t pick up the house by its name, but it sorted out and the place was amazing.
But the real issue was when I mistook the checkout date, thinking we had scheduled one more day. As we were out at activities, Esther called and offered to pack up for us and hold the bags for the day. She was incredibly gracious and kind despite our mistake.

We came down for my mother's 90th birthday and the place was a hit for everyone. We all got to the beach, the youngsters brought their sailboards, we went in the sea and Mum loved sitting watching us all. The house worked brilliantly for all of us.

Fantastic beachside stay in a superb location. The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. Perfect for large groups, and a fantastic garden too for our evening BBQs with plenty of garden furniture.
It was perfectly equipped with everything you could need and the stand up paddle boards were a lot of fun!
Our host, Esther went above and beyond and even put away our shopping for us when the delivery arrived early.

The house is situated in an excellent location with close proximity to the beach and sea. With a large garden and plenty of outdoor furniture it was ideal for our family group. We all loved using the padel boards and kayak. A real home from home. 👍👍

Only a three night stay, but the weekend was spoilt by four of our party suffering sleep deprivation. The large two tier bunk, creaked, squeaked and groaned every time the child on top moved. His parents were frequently woken. His father resorted to working on some film editing in the lounge at night. The bed in the main rear bedroom had the thickest mattress I have ever seen, yet was incredibly hard. My wife had little sleep and suffered with neck and back pain on our first full day. We found a spare duvet in a cupboard and doubled that over on my wife's side of the bed so she could sleep on it on the second night. I have slept on cruise ships, in many hired homes and countless hotels, never been so uncomfortable.
Great shame, the only thing that spoilt an otherwise perfect stay.

Very nice property, with all the utilities and day to day items you need, in a brilliant location 50m from the beach. The beach here is very quite, a few dog walkers, some locals (end July) so plenty of space and quiet. A short walk away to the cafe and shops in Bracklesham Bay, and not much further to lots of shops and Pubs in East Wittering.
The property has a lovely large garden giving lots of space for children to run around. And large patio with lots of furniture makes an excellent outside area.
The house is stocked with lots of kitchen utilities, with a separate utility room and shower for keeping the house clean.
Separate lounge/dining room from the front lounge gives occupants several spaces to relax.
Would definitely come back to this property in this area.
