Our family had an amazing visit at Casa Ceoil! The property was full of life (dogs, horses, goats,cats, and chickens). The house was centrally located within the county so we were able to take day trips. After our adventures we would be greeted by Luna (the sweetest dog)! One of the mares had just given birth a week ago so we had the opportunity to visit with their new foal.
The house was appointed well there was no need for anything it was well stocked with towels, dishes, ect. The house was clean and very comfortable! Barbara was wonderful she provided a lot of information about the sounding sites and places to eat in Ennis. We highly recommend Henry’s Wine Bar in Ennis, the food was fabulous. If you are looking for Irish music Knox’s Bar and grill is a great place in Ennis, however the food was typical bar food nothing special. Go there for music and the drinks!
Overall we had an amazing holiday in Ireland! You can’t go wrong if you decide to rent Casa Ceoil it was a highlight of our trip!

The house is beautiful
Barbara was so lovely and took our granddaughter round to see all the animals.
After a day of sightseeing this was a lovely quiet setting to come back to.

This home was all that I could have asked for. The setting, the host, and the location were all perfect. Barbara was so very warm and welcoming. The house itself had everything needed for a perfect stay. Warm, clean, and inviting. The animals of the farm were a huge bonus especially the dogs. I would recommend this home to everyone planning an Irish vacation.

Barbara was a wonderful host. We enjoyed her tour of her family farm and the cottage was a perfect location for exploring nearby attractions (cliffs of moher, the burren, castles, Aran Islands, Galway, Limerick to name a few). The cottage was quiet, roomy and comfortable, and had everything we needed during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Barbara was great and enjoyed playing with dogs and cat. Only suggestion would be blinds or curtains in living area since guest house is attached to Barbara's house as an L addition with windows facing main house.

This is a fantastic home away from home. Less than 10 minutes from Ennis and with good highway access to attractions like the cliffs of Moher and the loop.
We loved the flexibility of our own kitchen, washer and dryer and blessed peace and quiet.
Barbara our host was very helpful and wonderful.
It is great farm stay with 3 bedrooms and excellent wifi and TV.

Hosts were welcoming, very helpful, and friendly. The first thing we all noticed was how comfortable we all felt being at Casa Ceol. After a long trip to a country we had never visited that was so important. It was the perfect home base to visit the many interesting landmarks, Castles, parks etc in Clare and surrounding counties. Can’t wait to return some day.

Loved my stay at Casa Ceoil! The host was friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful with the house and with suggestions for sightseeing in the area. The house is clean, well-appointed and comfortable with plenty of room inside and out for my 4 additional guests. Included are amenities like strong Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen, linens, laundry soap, etc. that added to the comfort of my stay. I felt right at home in the countryside and even experienced a foal being born. Casa Ceoil is ideally situated on a farm, and only 15 minutes from the picturesque town of Ennis with plenty of traditional Irish music and close to historic sites like the Cliffs of Moore, Ennis Abbey and Craggaunowen and only 20 minutes from Shannon Airport. I would recommend Casa Ceoil to adults and families with children. You will have an amazing stay.

We had a great stay here. Plenty of room for the four of us, very clean. The nights were incredibly peaceful and quiet. We all enjoyed the animals nearby, cows, dogs, cats, and a beautiful horse. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Airy, bright, and peaceful
Wonderful stay here! Spotlessly clean, spacious, and comfortable with kitchen equipped for cooking for a crowd. Our host Barbara and family were friendly and personable. Not far from Ennis which is a charming town with plenty of things to do. Highly recommended!

Incredible, cozy, quiet, country get-a-way!
We stayed three nights at this property and they were the favorite of our trip. We were delayed in arriving and the owner was accommodating and had left a welcome gift. There were four of us and we had plenty of room. The property is quaint and feels country but has all of the amenities that you'd want, including a top-notch shower and a loft-style office. The location was convenient for accessing locations that we wanted to see, was far enough away to feel isolated, and was cozy enough for us to want to stay all day!
We loved the farm animals, the garden, but especially the owners! Kind, welcoming, made great recommendations, etc. It was worth every penny and we have he best memories!

Lovely & peaceful place to enjoy
Barbara & Kevin's home is lovely, bright and welcoming! We had everything we needed, and Barbara even had bread, scones & butter awaiting our arrival. We enjoyed Barbara's tour of her farm (young sheep, goats, cows & horses). Luna & Bella (the dogs) were so friendly and fun to play with. I loved the cats too!
We would absolutely stay here again. It's a quick drive into Ennis for any kind of shopping you would need/want.

Cosy casa with all you need
Many thanks to Barbara and all the family for a fantastic stay. We felt very cosy and welcome. We appreciated the cleanliness, attractive decor and the extra touches, like the welcome pack and baby cot. Our son loved feeding the animals, collecting eggs and picking cucumbers. The location is great. You feel you are in the county side but are only 15 minutes from all major supermarkets, 30 minutes from the beach and very close to the Burren. We’d love to come back!

A quiet Irish farmhouse.
This quiet farmhouse is situated on a small working farm which only adds to its charm and fun. There a very friendly dog and two goats that regularly roam the property. Barbara is a wonderful host. Friendly and informative. She even offered us tour of the farm which we gladly accepted. The house is very clean with some modern appointments but still retains a rustic feel. The nearby town of Ennis is lively and practical. Overall a comfortable and relaxing experience. Please be aware that a rental car is a must have if plan to stay here.

Maison et hôte charmante.
La location est très bien équipée, propre et la literie est confortable. La propriétaire (barbara) est très agréable, souriante et discrète. La maison est isolée en pleine campagne entourée d'animaux de la ferme, vaches, brebis, etc... et 2 chats très caressants . Pour les visites des sites irlandais la voiture est indispensable. Le séjour était très agréable et le paysage irlandais magnifique. Il manque juste un salon de jardin pour profiter de l'extérieur par jour de beau temps.

Barbara and family were amazing hosts! She gave us clear directions and also gave us advice on what to see and do during our stay. The property was idyllic and exactly what was advertised! We were so sad to leave and will be definitely be back. We have 2 small children and this was a beautiful home away from home.

Perfect spot for our Ireland adventure!
We loved our stay at Casa Ceol! It was situated in a great location for our day trips out along the west part of Ireland. Ennis was the perfect size town with good grocery options, restaraunts, and pubs. The house was perfect- comfortable and clean. Barbara and Kevin were wonderful hosts. Very accommodating to your needs and incredibly friendly. My husband and I even jumped a ride into town with Kevin and the girls one night to watch him play at a local pub. Our only disappointment from the stay was that it was cut short by a hurricane...in Ireland!? Definitely would recommend!

Their small farm is lovely and we visited with their horse, cows, sheep and ducks and tasted fresh peas and tomatoes right out of their garden. The location of the cottage was perfect for exploring the Western Counties of Ireland. We took day trips each day and then returned to our cozy house to relax and rewind every evening. The house is out in the country, so there is no walking to pubs, stores or restaurants, but we enjoyed the quiet and town was only a 10-min drive away. The Wi-Fi worked vey well, which kept our teenagers happy! Thank you Kevin & Barbara - we'll be back!!

Séjour reposant en Irlande.
Location au calme dans une petite ferme avec différents animaux et Bella, la gentille chienne. La maison est très bien placée pour découvrir le Clare , région magnifique et chaleureuse. Il manque un petit peu de vaisselle ( couverts, carafe...) mais le logement est neuf , grand et agréable. Barbara est accueillante, toujours prête à nous renseigner et nous aider dans nos visites. Elle nous fait découvrir et partage ses légumes. Un panier de produits nous est offert à notre arrivée. Merci ! Très beaux souvenirs d'Irlande. Nous recommandons cette location de vacances.

Beautiful little country side
First time staying in Ireland and my cousins and I ended up staying here for a couple of nights. Barbara was very accommodating, helpful, and responsive upon our arrival.Thank you! The house was clean (major plus for me!). I also had the chance to do some farm work, which was pretty cool. It is a little far from town, but manageable if you have your own transportation. Be careful on the back roads, it's so tiny!
The only thing I could say I wish was a little better was the "echo" in the house. It is very hollow sounding, so if you're traveling with people who get up earlier than you, or stay up later than you, it can be extremely disruptive as you can hear every tiny little movement. Also, the WiFi is a little shotty (needed to be reset a bunch) and the cup selection in the cupboard wasn't the best (I know that's weird to say, but it's hard to drink everything out of strictly juice glasses).
Other than that, beautiful location on the green hills of Ireland! Slainte!

Die Familie war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Haus hat alle grundlegenden Dinge die man benötigt. Wir hatten auch ein kleines Willkommenspaket bekommen. Uns wurden gute Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben.
Leider war das Haus nicht so sauber. Z.b. hatte unsere Tochter die noch krabbelt direkt eine sehr schmutzige Strumpfhose und Hände. Das war nicht so schön. Ansonsten hat es uns sehr gefallen.
