Willow Cottage - Central Ely
Willow Cottage es una encantadora casa unifamiliar de dos dormitorios situada en el centro de la histórica ciudad catedral de Ely. Se encuentra a poca distancia de las muchas atracciones que Ely tiene para ofrecer, como la Catedral y la Casa de Oliver Cromwell. La estación de tren Ely también está a poca distancia a pie y ofrece servicios regulares a Cambridge (20 minutos) y Londres (75 minutos). Willow Cottage was our first stop on a 5-week holiday in UK/Ireland.
We found the cottage amazing & suited our needs perfectly.
We parked our car when we got there & did not move it until we left.
We could walk to everywhere we wanted to go, even to the railway station to catch a train into Cambridge for the day. (Punt on the River Cam)
The Ely Cathedral is a must see.
We recommend a 50yard walk to The High-Flyer Pub for a meal.
We will highly recommend Willow Cottage to anyone we talk to.
Thanks to Tracey and crew for a wonderful stay and congratulations on a wonderful job bringing the cottage back to life for us & others to enjoy.

Host was impossible to contact as she was away travelling so, when we had a problem understanding how the cooker worked she was unavailable. The manual explaining how everything in the cottage worked was tucked away in a dresser draw in the living room.
Other than this, the rest of the holiday was very enjoyable. Cottage located in a very central spot.

We booked for a special occasion and the cottage was perfectly located to walk to our venue - Ely Cathedral. The cottage was lovely and clean with everything we needed. My only regret is that the weather prevented us from seeing the cottage in the warm sunshine.
The owners were wonderfully helpful when we had a little hiccup with the hot water - coming over to help despite it being a Friday night. Thank you to them.
We enjoyed our stay and the location of the cottage allowed us to get out and about easily - either shopping or sightseeing.

What a find! The property was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had everything I needed for a solo weekend away. I travelled by train and it was about a 20 minute walk from the station and very close to the city centre. Tracey responded quickly to any correspondence and it was lovely to see a cupboard with tea, coffee, salt, vinegar and olive oil etc in there. I slept in the back room so didn't notice any noise from the traffic. I really enjoyed the cottage and Ely. Thank you for being fab hosts.

Wonderful cottage
After having to cancel our trip to Ely in 2020, we were excited to finally stay here for a few nights. The cottage is very comfortable and a good size for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young children that could sleep in the same bed). I wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely clean and cosy cottage in central location
We loved our short stay at the cottage whilst in the process of moving house - it was such a cosy haven for us away from the chaos of the move! Everything was very clean and the cottage is well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable break. Would definitely recommend a stay here for a holiday, as it’s really in the heart of Ely.

I booked the cottage for my elderly parents to visit me in Ely. It's a great location for staying in Ely and not needing a car. The cottage was cleaned and prepared to a really high standard and communication with the owner was excellent. Very much recommended!

Excellent cottage, prime location
With our two children (2 and 4) we had a wonderful time in this cottage. The location is perfect for discovering Ely, and the fittings and fixtures are contemporary and new looking. The house feels relaxing and uplifting to be in. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a large washing machine and a clothes rack. Arrangements for the key worked seemlessly. Off-street parking for one car is brilliant. Tracey was very easy to contact, very friendly and very quick to reply; she left some lovely touches in the cottage such as a bottle of mulled wine, a Christmas tree, and a gingerbread decorating kit for our children. The only thing our little ones found tricky is the lack of a bath, but we knew that before we arrived and it's a small compromise for a lovely, warm, contemporary cottage in a convenient location.

The cottage is beautifully done, we had everything we needed and the hosts , Tracey and Ashley were very considerate and perfect hosts. It was ideally situated to walk into Ely and see the Cathedral etc.
