Paradise Resort is a beautiful property right on Buchanan Dam. The grounds are spectacular and much larger then the photos do it justice. The pool is beautiful. All the family had a great time.

This was really a resort. It was an absolutely fantastic stay. We went through the gates at this property and were in shock! It had a great yard, pool, volleyball court, outdoor barbecue, everything we needed. We especially loved all the little things like all the fresh towels, k-cups, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Plus the steam room and sauna. We were spoiled! Loved this place and would recommend to anyone.

Overall we had a wonderful time at this property. It was spacious, clean, and had tons of activities. My only comment would be that it is very far from Austin and the listing doesn’t reflect that accurately.

This house was really well equipped for groups. We were there with a multi generational family group. Bbq area and patio seating were amazing, e we enjoyed relaxing and looking at the view of the water. We loved the big grass area for games and relaxing. We had a few things break and not work while we were there and they were very quick to fix any issues. The little loft area didn’t work out for us to use and the beds could be more comfortable but other than that, everything was perfect! Would definitely stay again with a large group.

We had a team annual meeting at this property which provided a fantastic retreat for ten of us to reconnect and launch our 2023. Having good close food options and a great grilling setup along with fun evening settings at the fire pit was a wonderful experience.

Delightful place for family gathering. Price has risen a lot during last year but still worth it. Most of the gas fired grills did not work and need to be repaired. This was disappointing as most everything else was in good repair.

Everyone was impressed with the property. Lots of activities and a whole lot of different ways to cook for a fair size gathering. Lots of fridge and freezer space too.
Update needed to the floor plan layout. It isn’t quite accurate. Host very responsive to questions.

We had a wonderful time. The facilities are great for a large gathering. Management was extremely responsive and the place is well maintained. We have several retreaters planning to stay at Paradise on their own!

The view and property are amazing! The hot tub and pool and outdoor seating venues were so relaxing. The lawn was great for outdoor games.

Beautifu, immaculate property and site. Having 2 separate kitchens in the mornings a real plus.. So mmany things to do, or we could just relax. All 18 of us liked it so much we've re-booked for next year.

My family and I stayed two nights. The first morning we noticed that the bed I slept in had multiple large blood stains on the bottom half of the sheet. I double checked my body and my 7 year old and neither of us were bleeding. I told the owner and he proceeded to argue with me I was wrong and it was from me, that there was no way they left a sheet with blood on it. Mistakes can happen and I just wanted clean sheets. I ended up having to change the sheets myself and the owner said it was not his fault and provided not solution.
We then played sand volleyball around 6:30 pm. The sprinklers all around the volleyball court and ones on the main part of the volleyball court turned on and we had to stop playing. When I asked to owner about it he said we should just play in the wet sand. I would think it would be easy to not have sprinklers spraying into a beach volleyball court and to change the time to a more appropriate time.

Absolutely gorgeous houses and outdoor kitchen. Huge! Plenty of space for our crowd. Lighting was bright and kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. Recommended that a pitcher or two be added plus food storage containers. We enjoyed our stay immensely! Thanks to the grounds keepers Monce and her hubby and to David for their kind assistance with details.

Lots of outdoor amenities. Property is very well taken care of, with the property manager/staff on the grounds daily cleaning and performing general maintenance. Owner and staff were very accommodating, and responsive. The owner provided his cell phone number and always responded within a matter of minutes. Kitchen is well stocked with just about anything you could need. The only exception being the can opener - it needs to be replaced. 10/10 would recommend this property

We had a wonderful time celebrating a (fairly tame) joint bachelor + bachelorette. Sam and David (property manager and handyman respectively) were communicative and helpful. Superb cleanliness and presentation. Very well-stocked (silverware, plates, pots/pans, towels, bath products, TP). Paper towels were the only basics not included (or we couldn't find). Bonuses include a paddleboat, kayaks, heated spa, water features, awesome sound systems (indoor and out). WiFi was not the fastest but that didn't matter to us. Overall this exceeded our expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Owner did not notify property manager of our stay. PM notified us that he was there cleaning up the mess up from construction until the minute we got there. PM and owner failed to check the propane tank prior to our arrival which resulted in us going without heat and working oven/stove and hot water. The PM came out and provided us with small propane tanks from Lowe’s or Home Depot for a party of 25 people to get us “by”. The PM also requested that we change the propane out ourselves because he had a party to attend. We went the whole night without heat or working applicants that required propane. The listing advertised a luxury kitchen with top of the line appliances which would be great if they actually worked. We had blood on several sheets in our room that had clearly not been washed. I reached out to the owner and requested reimbursement for our first night due to not being provided the service or quality described. He refuses to do anything and is now threatening me telling me I will pay for ruining his business. It’s very unfortunate because the land is beautiful and the house is too if stuff worked correctly. Too bad the person who owns it does not take care of his guests and then threatens them after the fact. Be careful with this property.

We used this venue to conduct a 2 day leadership training for our company. Although there were a few issues with the venue, (door handle kept falling off) the property owner was very attentive and responded quickly to all of our needs.
I would like to mention that our check-out was at 11 am and we had the housekeeping team come into the main house and disrupt our closing session around 10:45 am even though they could have started cleaning the 2nd house which we had already moved out of.
Maybe tell the staff to wait until 11am before you start the cleaning process.
We would definitely use this facility again in the future. It was beautiful.

A group of eight of us just spent four nights at the property. While the property can obviously accommodate quite a few more people, we loved the fact that there were multiple places where we could all just hang out (great room, dining table, pool/hot tub, outdoor covered seating area).
The bedrooms are all as advertised. Some might have one more bed than optimal, but everything is clean, comfortable and well cared for.
The views of the lake were fantastic. A couple guys really enjoyed getting out on the kayaks.
The pool / hot tub were fantastic and very well cleaned. The hot tub can comfortably fit at least eight people.
Some of the outdoor areas could probably use a little updating, in particular the grills, smoker and outdoor couch cushions, but we used them all and were satisfied.
Most importantly, both the owner and property manager are incredibly responsive. In the months leading up to our stay, any time I had a question, it never took more than 15 minutes for the owner to respond, which was amazing considering how busy people's lives are. Same thing for the property manager. During our stay he gave me his cell phone number. I reached out to him a few times with questions and he always responded within 5 minutes. That's truly rare these days.
Overall, a great experience.

We had a group of 6 families staying at the property, the resort/paradise home was absolutely stunning! Pool, Hot Tub, and the Outdoor space were used everyday and were in great condition and have amazing views of the lake. David was there everyday to help with anything we needed and took out the trash as well. Would absolutely recommend this property for bigger groups!

we went there to relax and have some family time and it was perfect it was just right for our family from the pool tables in the living quarters to the pool and hot tub outside and even the lake it is like a sandy beach it is clean and you can walk straight into the water. we had an amazing time Thank you

Our large family found this location perfect for us. Thank you for the wonderful home, bunkhouse, pool, land... The updated kitchen was wonderful. We needed the two fridges! You had enough towels for all of us and the crew loved the K-Cup machine (we brought hot chocolate and hot apple cider because we're not coffee drinkers). Thank you for being so good to us. We look forward to staying with you again.

The property is beautiful with many activities and space for everyone to enjoy. The owners & David (grounds manager) were super responsive to questions and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The house has every appliance you need- there’s no need to bring anything other than your food, clothes and beach towels! There’s canoes, fire pit, all types of outdoor cooking equipment and no lack of space to spread around. Of note: the loft bedroom is only accessible from outside (not through a bedroom in the main house), so it’s not a space to have smaller children sleep.
Beautiful property- a great location for large groups. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a wonderful time at 315 Ellison. The property was beautiful with a breath taking view of lake Buchanan. The facilities were very nicely appointed. We had great fun and many laughs playing ping ping, pool, air hockey, and games. The professional grade kitchen was a dream and the outdoor spaces were ideal. We highly recommend this property and are sure you will enjoy it as well.

From the booking to checking out they have been responsive. Upon arriving everyone was in Awe! The amount of thought and time that was put into this property does not go unnoticed, they have really out done themselves! It truly does look like a resort, we were thoroughly impressed.
