Chalet was modern and had everything we needed with a touch of luxury. Definitely would recommend and would gladly stay again :).

Very intimate stunning chalets in pemberton, great location, only 20 minutes from town and the surroundings were stunning. Great facilities, weber on the balcony, lush spa bath. Loved our stay here.

Everything. Brekky lasted two mornings. Fresh bread. Chilled wine fridge. Access to forest track for a run. Just the best. Gratitude!!!!

Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend away. The chalets are very well equipped, extremely comfortable and have a beautiful view over the lake. The weather was clear, but quite cold while we were there, but the chalet has central heating and a gas log look fire so we were warm and comfortable the whole time. There is a lovely walking track through the forest which we made use of and would recommend to anyone who likes to get out and breathe the fresh air. You can fish in the lake if you wish which is nice if you're into fishing. A relatively short drive into Pemberton. The restaurant on site is open for lunch on the weekends and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. Would I go back? Yes!

Tranquility so good. Fantastic outlook over the dam and forest. Great for bush walks. Well equiped Isolated and quiet and cosy warm.

It was the most serene, luxurious gettaway I've ever had! The chalet had everything we could ever need, a glorious spa bath and gas heater. It was cosy and romantic and I've already recommended Silkwood Estate to all my friends.

Lovely views of the lake, a bottle of wine on arrival and the location. The accomadation was clean and the evenings where quiet.

Uncomfortable bed which also sags under the weight of two 75kg adults and the obvious lack of proper maintenance and upkeep. The bbq is falling apart, a non dimmable light globe above bath which strobes when dimmed down, shutters missing at bath which must of been damaged and never replaced, sound system speakers around tv connected to nothing as amplifier must of died at one point and never been replaced. Out of date chalet book describing fishing pole and lures under the alfresco storage and guests to catch only one trout per person sounded like a lovely idea but upon inspection the storage was empty.

First day's breakfast items were all there - fruit/yogurt/eggs/cereal/bread/jam/milk/tea/coffee pods (generous supply). Bottle of wine.

Loved everything

Amazing location in the winery overlooking the lake. Tranquil, no sound of any cars, private, no road or path in front of the chalet. A wonderful view across to the tall trees and abundant bird life. Perfect.

We loved so much about the chalet, if I could recommend one improvement would be to upgrade the tvs to smart tvs with a variety of apps. The guests just sign in with their own accounts. But this may only be an option with quality of the internet speed. If not viable I would recommend improving the dvd library.

We loved everything about this property, location, the accommodation was perfect and extremely well appointed, serenity and privacy, the staff in the cellar door were fantastic, great food, everything was perfect, thank you.

Wifi didn’t work when we arrived and we had to call someone also rather than a large lounge for 2 recliners would have been a better fit - lounge low for older guests

Location. Quality of the fittings and items provided in the kitchen. Quiet location. Bed was very good. Bathroom was excellent. Internet was great.

We liked everything - a lot. The property was great! To help the owner maintain their high standard, we'd make some friendly suggestions on small opportunities they might want to consider: Lighting at the bathroom sink could have been better. Smoke alarm went off - not sure why - on our last morning. We weren't in the kitchen and had no appliances on. Alarm sounded for two minutes before it turned itself off. No recycling bin. Garden outside front door needs a prune. DVD movies - two discs were missing from their boxes. Apart from these points, the accommodation was excellent!

Secluded and peaceful

We loved the view from the balcony, and the spa bath was wonderful. The complimentary bottle of wine on our first night was a lovely touch. We had a wine tasting at the cellar door and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a great experience. would definitely come stay here again.

Out of the control of the owners, but there was no cell reception for either of our phones (different carriers) - it seems to sit in a black spot for any reception.
