This is our second time staying on property and had a wonderful time. The place is in a great location and very roomy for a family. The owner is super friendly and always very helpful. It’s very accommodating provide if beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, and a wagon. Makes it nice to be able to travel light. Highly recommend.

Everything you needed and MORE! Lynn and Capt Kevin are amazing hosts and have thought of everything to make your stay with them enjoyable! We will be back for year 4 in 2025!

Wish we could have stayed longer! This awesome beach house is in the perfect location. The beach is just across the street, and many restaurants are within walking distance. We stayed over the July 4th holiday and walked a short distance to watch fireworks at Jim's Pier. We also played putt-putt at Gravity Park and then finished up the evening with a custom cookie ice cream sandwhich at The Baked Bear. Walking home was great as it allowed us to avoid the traffic! The owners were great and we hope to stay here again in the future.

We loved our stay at the Bougainvillea Beach House! The layout was great for the four of us and our dog and we loved having three bathrooms. The unit was nicely equipped and came stocked with beach chairs, coolers, wagons, etc. The owners were very welcoming and communicated well. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Very nice place to stay. Hope to stay here again in the future. Lynn was very nice and helpful with any questions and the Captain was full of information about fishing. Overall a great place to go to get away. Loved it!

This place is amazing every time we come to SPI. Lynn and the Captain are always so nice and accommodating and they alway go out of their way to make us feel welcome. We will always stay here on all of our future trips.

We had a great stay in Padre Island thanks to this perfect home!! Very clean, well equipped, comfortable rental with beach access directly across the street. This home is convenient to many restaurants, and there’s a grocery store 2 blocks away. Lynn was very nice, and answered all questions promptly. We will definitely stay here again!

We had the most excellent vacation, the owners are super friendly and helpful, the proximity to the beach can’t be beat, and if you like cooking then you are in for a treat. The kitchen is well equipped with a 6 burner gas stove, great cookware, and sharp knives. Would highly recommend this location and will be booking for future trips. Thanks again.

The place was very nice and clean. Beach access was right across the street and beach gear was available for use at no extra cost. We’ll definitely come back and tell our family and friends about this place.

Lynn and Captain Kevin are superior hosts. We stayed a week in Bougainvillea North and had an excellent stay. The house is stocked with everything you need, including games, beach chairs, umbrella, towels and beautiful outdoor furniture to enjoy the views. The microwave stopped working during our stay. Lynn replaced it the same day. We didn’t get the opportunity to go out fishing with Captain Kevin but he offered to get us fresh caught seafood. Many thoughtful touches have been included to enhance the stay such as specialty coffee, the Rio Grande Valley blend was left to enjoy.

The owner thought of just about everything. The kitchen is well stocked; the black out curtains help with noise and light; nice quality beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, and umbrella; the porch is magnificent-easy to hang out and have meals together as a family; nice walk to the beach.
My husband and I brought our three college age sons. Two of our sons slept on the twin beds in the second bedroom. The other son slept on a comfortable memory foam cot and had his own bathroom. Plenty of space for us to spread out and put our things away and get comfortable for a week.

My family and I had a wonderful experience staying at this property. From the location, the atmosphere and great hosts. We don’t have any complaints. Our favorite part was being so close to the beach! The hosts provide anything you could possibly need for the beach. Wagon, chairs, toys, umbrella, boogie boards, towels and more! I love that there was a book of recommendations for the whole area. We found that very useful. It was our first time at south padre and hopefully not our last. Lynn was so great and easy to work with. Highly recommend!!

Just the perfect spot and accommodations were wonderful.
Easy access to the beach with umbrella, chairs and other beach stuff we needed provided by the hosts. Wrap around porch was nice for sitting outside with a margarita. Enjoyed our time here tremendously. Wouldn't stay anyplace else.
Lynn, I would add Viva to your list of restaurants. Really nice open air, sunset dining on the bay. Casual spot and the menu is awesome. Something for everyone.

We’ve been coming to South Padre Island for many years. A few years ago we discovered this property and since have stayed here multiple times. Usually we bring our dogs, but this time we had the opportunity to bring two foreign exchange students who have never been to this part of Texas. We always enjoy the great location, beach and views, as well as the local restaurants. We also cook many meals in the well equipped kitchen. A new TV and couch makes relaxing in the evening a pleasure. Lynn is a great host and we’ve become friends over the years. Definitely recommend.

Everything was wonderful and very comfortable! The little extras at the home was above what we expected! My in laws were visiting from South Dakota and had never been to the ocean and this stay and access to the beach made the stay all the more perfect! Thank you for a womderful weekend!

This is a great dog-friendly property; we really enjoyed our stay. The property is clean, comfortable, nicely equipped and the host is super helpful. Our friends stayed in the South unit, which is a little smaller. I was happy that we paid more and had the larger North unit. Renting both units is a great arrangement for 2 small-ish families, though. We will stay again when we return to SPI.

Location, amenities, comfort and welcoming owner made for the perfect temporary home. As two couples with varying interests, we were easily able to go about our daytime fun and then enjoy time together at “home” in the evening. We will definitely be back!

The property was very nice. It had everything we needed and more. We stayed in and watched the KC Chiefs win the AFC championship on the 75 inch TV! The walk to the beach was very short and the path very well cared for. I loved sitting on the porch, it was not directly on the beach, but had a view of the water and was very comfortable and inviting. The owners were great! Friendly and very helpful in giving us information about the island and things to do.

We can’t say enough good things about this house and the host. Everything you would need is here, the house is very well appointed and Lynn the host is so easy to communicate with (especially if you mess up your reservations!) This is our third stay here from 4-5 nights and we certainly hope to come back. I will not stay anywhere else on SPI after our great vacations in this house. Highly recommend!

This property is just perfect. The beach is just across the street, great places to eat are very close. The kitchen has every thing you need to prepare meals. The porch is the perfect place to relax.

The property is ideal for us. It’s close to the beach, pet friendly and well equipped for relaxing, and cooking. We enjoy the wrap around porch for reading, visiting and grilling. Lynn is a great host and will promptly help with any questions. We enjoy visiting with her. There’s easy and quick access to stores, restaurants and local sites.

The house was very lovely and well laid out with everything we could possibly want or need. The view of the beach was wonderful! The front porch was blissfully inviting. The owners were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful with all sorts of great information about the island, restaurants and adventures. They even offered us a homemade fresh fish fry dinner! The walk to the beach is so short and convenient! The beach was spectacularly clean and beautiful!!! We just can't say enough nice things about our stay! We highly recommend!!!

This place has it all. Plenty of space, washer/dryer, premium kitchen appliances, grill, beach toys, books, tvs, games. It is a wonderful property with very close beach access. Lynn and the Captain are tremendous hosts and helped us navigate the island life as well. Highly recommend!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and we love it. It’s a little older but has such a charm about it. It feels like a true beach house. The host lives downstairs and was always available to answer any questions or fix any issues. That was extremely important to us. She was extremely attentive and helpful! The house is across the street from the beach access walkway but you can sit on the awesome covered porch and still see the ocean. The porch was fenced in enough to where our dog could be out there and not escape. Perfect place to bring the family and the dog.
