Baywatch Kingscote - Beachfront get-away
Baywatch Kingscote es una casa de vacaciones independiente de 3 estrellas y 3 habitaciones, recientemente renovada [enero de 2018], ubicada en el centro de la explanada de Kingscote. Simplemente pasee por la carretera para acceder fácilmente a la playa.
La propiedad cuenta con una gran terraza al aire libre con vistas al agua de 180 grados que también se puede disfrutar desde la cocina y las salas de estar. La configuración de las camas consta de dos habitaciones Queen [una con baño privado con duchas dobles] y una tercera habitación que contiene 2 literas de tamaño individual [para 4 personas] y una cuna.
La cocina tiene una nevera / congelador inferior de 450 litros, cocina eléctrica de 900 mm y encimera de gas, microondas, lavavajillas, tostadora y hervidor de agua. Hay una gran televisión con reproductor de DVD y biblioteca de DVD, una mesa de comedor para 8 personas, una trona y dos grandes salones completan la sala de estar.
La lavandería está equipada con lavadora y secadora. Se suministran detergentes para lavado de manos, lavavajillas y lavadora. En el exterior tiene acceso a un tendedero, barbacoa y mesa de limpieza de pescado.
También se proporcionan café, té, azúcar y jabón de baño / ducha de cortesía.
Wi-Fi está disponible en la propiedad.

This is a great holiday rental with well appointed kitchen, great views and even some streaming services to keep you entertained.
The pictures on the site give a really honest representation of what your getting. Only negative was cleanliness, most of the house it's furniture and linens are kept in a good clean state however the floor left a lot to be desired.
We took our shoes of on arrival to keep floors clean only to discover 20 minutes later our feet were black from walking on the floor. A good mop would fix the issue.
Floors aside this is a good little property for a family holiday on kangaroo island. - Would recommend.

Beautiful simple & clean property with a stunning view. It had everything we needed.
We stayed during the dead of winter & it was really wet - we did find the house overall to be chilly - even with two reverse cycle heaters. Would definitely suggest some winter doonas.
But otherwise, a lovely experience.

This property was nice and clean and only about 2km from the main street of Kingscote. Very modern amenities, and everyone in out group was very comfortable. Will try to stay again when we visit KI.

Our stay at Baywatch was comfortable, clean and peaceful with everything supplied.
The property was easy to access and close to the shopping precinct.

Well equipped house with large open-plan living area which was very comfortable for a four-night stay.
Would have liked a can-opener to be provided.
Good quiet location but handy to town and easy to get out to sight-seeing places.
However I question value for money for a couple.

We spent a few days driving on KI exploring beaches, towns and the national park. Our Aussie friend was also checking out possible moorings for his boat in the future. We brought provisions and spent the evenings cooking, enjoying wine and watching movies on the large TV.

Good, clean, tidy.. plenty of room, even had a hairdryer in each bathroom, iron, full laundry facilities..

As written in the visitors book by various guests there are several safety features which need urgent action. There needs to be a handrail to the steps to help people with mobility issues access the sliding door. There should also be a balustrade around the front deck, The entry to both the bathrooms has a tripping hazard which should be attended to even with some yellow tape.

Located close to the centre of Kingscote, perfect position to explore the island. Very quiet.
Baywatch Beach House with water views from the deck is a lovely short walk into the township along the esplanade pathway.
Dinning, lounge and kitchen is open plan. Comfortable and clean lounge with heaps of room for small to larger families.
Kitchen has gas top and electric oven great to work on. Small milk in fridge on arrival for that first cup of tea.
Beds and pillows are very comfy.
We loved our stay here and would highly recommend. KI is a great spot to explore. Owners are very welcoming and have set up the perfect house for an island getaway.

This is a great property centrally located and within walking distance to the town center if you are inclined to walk. Spacious and well appointed. Fans were a big plus as air conditioning is centrally located in main bedroom and living room. All the cooking hardware you need. Would have been nice to have just a few spices (onion, seasoned, or garlic salt/powder) and some condiments that don’t spoil but that’s a really minor thing. Really appreciated having the sandwich bags and plastic wrap.
Sitting out on the deck in the evening to have dinner was wonderful.
Loved the property and responsiveness of Andrew. Highly recommended. Thanks for the hospitality.

Just needs another chopping board for group cooking & larger quilt on the bed closest to the living area my feet were hanging out.

A convenient and picturesque location by the bay with everything a family needs for a comfortable stay. Even washing powder for some clothing rescue after a hard day's sand-boarding! A pleasant walk into town for supplies.
Also, sweet-tasting tapwater, which was an unexpected bonus!

Baywatch is just lovely . It has all the comforts of home in a relaxed setting . If you want beach, sand & water views , you have it in front of you . Close to supplies & a great location to use as a base while on the Island . Definately would choose to stay again if coming to KI

The beach is across the road and is beautiful. We went there every chance we had. The home has a well-equipped kitchen and a BBQ. The bedrooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. The location is great for getting into the town centre and for exploring Kangaroo Island. We are planning to come again for a longer stay.

All the perks of a new property - spotless, full laundry, very comfortable sofas and beds etc, easy access bathrooms, and heaps of space. Good size deck. Felt v safe in the house too. Lovely owner responded immediately when I couldn’t work out how to use the window locks. 10/10 recommend.

The Baywatch House was a perfect place for two couples. It is very well stocked for all cooking, great bedrooms and very good beds. The two separate bathrooms is often very hard to find and this house has a large onsite with master bedroom and a separate bathroom right across the corridor for bedroom two. Third bedroom is fitted out with bunk beds which fortunately we did not have to use. The house is close to shops, restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. You must try the Queeney hotel for a meal, fantastic. The owner was very approachable and I would recommend the house to anyone for a great holiday. Did I mention that the beach is right across the road!

Convenient and comfortable
I really enjoyed staying at Baywatch for a few days visiting Kangaroo Island. The house is a convenient 5 minute drive into Kingscote, is quiet, has a lovely outlook on a bay, is well equipped, has plenty of room and is very comfortable - everything you could ask for for a great place to base yourself on Kangaroo Island.
