Great location, lots to do within walking distance. Great beach access.

We had a group of six adults. The layout of the unit was great- three bedrooms each with their own bathroom. At our ages sharing a bathroom can be problematic! Kitchen was well equipped, excellent notes and a lovely snack basket! Easy walk to the beach and some great restaurants. We were very happy with this place.

Location, location, location. Everything you need is within walking distance. The owners were gracious and intuitive to our needs. Our stay was so comfortable, enjoying the outdoor space as much as the indoors. You will not be disappointed in the space, the cleanliness and well appointed layout of this beach retreat! We will be back for another girls weekend next year!

The location was perfect, close to the beach and restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere and hardly needed a vehicle. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom too. There was a welcome basket that had goodies in it which was great on our 1st day since we had not went to the grocery store yet. The owners were very accommodating. The fact that they had beach towels, beach umbrellas and chairs was a huge plus. There was also a washer and dryer with detergent provided. They definitely thought of every detail. We will be back. This is great for people traveling by air since you can’t bring these amenities with you.

We had an unexpected trip to South Florida due to a family funeral. There were 5 adults in our group, including 2 couples and one single. This 3 bedroom unit was absolutely perfect. Having not only 3 bedrooms but also 3 en suite bathrooms for each bedroom ensured that each person had the room they needed as well as some privacy during this difficult few days.
The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed and there was a public grocery store close by to pick up any supplies.
While the unit had plenty of space for all of us, We spent the majority of every waking moment sitting out on the outdoor patio space... Drinking our morning coffee, eating meals out on the table and enjoying evening conversations at the end of the day.
The beach front is literally just around the corner and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Although it can be a busy area with tourists especially during the day, We felt very safe in this community and enjoyed the privacy of the patio immensely.
Jan, the owner was very responsive to any questions or inquiries. Having never been to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, we would absolutely rebook this unit and recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was extremely well provisioned in the kitchen and the bathrooms. The apartment was very clean. Access was very good. Would have liked to face the beach, but we knew we wouldn’t when we selected this rental. But a good location with easy beach access and a variety of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Enjoyed the cappochinos at the Italian coffee shop and highly recommend the Blue Moon restaurant on the intracoastal waterway. Had minor issue with the internet on arrival (modem was unplugged) but had no trouble contacting the owner who easily directed me to the location of the modem. The rental process was easy, friendly and well-managed. The A/C in the unit was excellent. Beach towels and a cooler were even provided.

We had a wonderful stay in your home at Lauderdale by the Sea! The house was just as listed and the owner was great with communication. The beach chairs were awesome to have and it was so easy to get to the beach. The wagon and cooler weren’t available but the owner dropped by a new cooler as soon as we told him it was missing. We loved the location just steps away from great restaurants and fun shops! We would stay here again.

Such a wonderful location. The property is within walking distance to the beach, shopping, and several bars and restaurants. Enjoyed walking to an Italian cafe every morning for pastries and lattes. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive to questions. The unit comes with everything you need for the beach....cooler, chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. The beach chairs were in excellent condition! Small laundry room next to unit with laundry soap. The weather was terrible while we were there (25 inches of rain in a rare weather event). Thankful we had a nice place to stay during the storm. The courtyard was very nice and surprisingly quiet. I thought with the main road outside the gate we would hear the noise, but not the case. Overall a great place to stay especially if you like being able to walk around Lauderdale by the Sea. If you like Sunday brunch The Blue Moon Fish Company is a 5 minute walk and one of the best!

The property was a short two minute walk to the beach. The home came with beach chairs, a cooler, towels, and anything else you may need for a day at the beach. Lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. The home was clean, welcoming and vary spacious. We cooked quite a bit at the home, and everything we needed was there. Our arrival plans changed last minute, and Jan and Tom were very helpful and communicated timely. We cannot thank them enough.

Enjoyed our stay for the Thanksgiving holidays. The location was perfect for our family and relatives who lived close by, and the walking proximity to the beach and nearby shops & restaurants was ideal.

This is a wonderful property!! I love the fact that each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The location is perfect!! Just a short walk to the beach and all the local restaurants. It's also just a short drive to everything else you might need.

The apartment was very nice. Very clean. Comfortable. Well equipped. The location was fantastic for walking to the beach and/or places to eat or have drinks.
I am a guy and was there with 2 of my guy friends, so we could all go scuba diving. Each of us having our own bedroom and own bathroom was really great.
A couple of things about the apartment that I didn't catch from the description.
The apartment is located RIGHT ON Hwy A1A. Like, from the edge of the roadway, there is a sidewalk and then the bumper of your car, if you're parked in one of the spaces for the apartment. A1A is just 2 lanes with a low speed limit at that point. I was a little concerned at first, that it would be hard to get in or out of my parking space because of traffic. But, even though I was driving a full size pickup truck, it was never a problem.
I was also a little concerned that I was parked right against the sidewalk where lots of random people were walking all day and night going to/from the beach/bars/restaurants. But, I had no issues at all.
From the street, you go through a wooden privacy gate and fence into a courtyard with some outdoor chairs, a fountain, etc.. From the listing pictures, I was thinking that that courtyard would be private to my apartment. It is not. There are 3 (or 4?) units and they all share that courtyard. There is no lock on the gate, so, theoretically, anyone could come in off the street. But, nobody ever did, as far as I could tell. For me, it mainly just meant that my plan to leave wet scuba gear out there to dry was not to be.
Also of note: The apartment has 3 bedrooms, but only includes 2 parking spaces. Fortunately, for me and my friends, one flew in and I picked him up, so we only had 2 cars to park. If you had more than 2 vehicles, parking for the extras could be a real pain, I think.

This location has everything you need - close to the beach, shopping, easy parking and spacious unit. Hosts were very accommodating and were always fast to respond. We will be beach for sure!

Perfect Getaway
We are 4 tired teachers that needed a beach vacation!! This home was the perfect place for us. Check in was was easy as pie! Tom and Jan are great to communicate and keep us updated as the day of check in got closer. The house has 3 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom! It made it so convenient for us all to get ready when coming back from the beach. The location of this home is so PERFECT!! Just around the corner are tons of shops, restaurants, and Sloan's ice cream!! We loved the Adirondack chairs and umbrellas on the street that we could just sit and visit and do a little people watching! The beach is just a short walk through the block. The beach is beautiful! There's a great reef to snorkel just a little way out. The house has beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, and beach towels.
We had such an amazing time! Can't wait to head back for another visit! Tom and Jan made our stay perfect!!

Beautiful Stay
The apartment was very clean. The location was great. Right in the middle of all the activity. Lots of places to walk and just a few steps from the beach. Property managers are personable and easily reached if necessary. A very positive experience. We will definitely return to this apartment.
