Kiddos had a good time. All especially enjoyed the hot tub and space.

We all very much enjoyed the house and the amenities. Definitely recommend. Going to see what it's like in the summer. Very very close to home.

Our late check in was easy. Cleaning crew could be a little better. We did not cook here. The kitchen would need some improvement for me to make anything, the oven and a drawer do not fully open because of the design. For coffee drinkers-there is a drip coffee maker and keurig The beds were comfortable and the location was pretty and great for walks. My family came here for a funeral in November. I grew up here and it was nice being here again. A coat rack or hooks at the door would have been nice for our snowy jackets/coats. Good stay overall!

Nice clean and cozy house

It was our annual Michigan with 6 dear friends the weekend of 9/8-9/11/22. We were looking for a house in New Buffalo that specifically had 6 beds, was close to Lake Michigan in a good neighborhood, was close to the wineries, had a jacuzzi and fire pit. The real disappointment was how dirty this place was. When we arrived the first day the first thing that we all noticed was the strong musty, moldy, mildew and sewer smell. I kind of blew it off at first but when the other 5 people said the exact same thing I was beyond pissed off. Especially in the time of Covid. Both bathrooms had mold. One bathroom on the shower curtain liner and the en-suite bathroom on the showers doors. The toilets barely flushed. The kitchen, living room, bathroom and wood floors in the bedrooms were filthy. It didn’t look like they were cleaned in months. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet. No extra garbage bags or toilet paper. Please note again there were 6 women in this home for 3 nights. The Kitchen chair was broken. Toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall in the en-suite. Kitchen counter top was loose. Kitchen drawer was loose and almost feel out. No extra blankets or beach towels. Hair dryer in small bathroom didn’t work. All of us woke up every morning coughing up phlegm and sneezing and this continued when we were in during the evening. Oh and did I say that there was a moldy, musty, mildewy sewer smell the entire time we were there. Honestly we couldn’t wait to leave as soon as we could this morning. At this time I am requesting a full refund of the cleaning deposit. My final thoughts!! DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY.

Very nice, plenty of space.

The house was nice and quaint. The hot tub was incredible and the amenities were all there. Some damages to carpet, appliances and walls but overall good for the price.

I liked that there was lots of space, plenty of beds. I didn’t like that I had to empty the dishwasher, there was dirty sheets in laundry room. The coffee pot was old, could be updated, there was a Kerig available, no pods

This beach home is a very unique property. It can use some updates and the cleanliness of the home needs attention. The home is in a great location with private access to the beach, tourist attractions, restaurants and the casino. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay.

Our family enjoys the beaches of Lake Michigan. This is the first time we stayed near New Buffalo. This house was big enough for our group and was very close to the water. The owners were easy to contact when needed. The parking passes were a bonus but we had to walk quite a distance to find an entrance that was open due to high water. The public beach in New Buffalo was very nice. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our only complaint was that the deck where the hot tub was located was not cleaned/blown off before our arrival. Lots of leaves and debris covered the chairs and deck.

Kitchen has fair amount of cooking items and lots of plates and cups (so you don't have to wash after every meal) Bring your own tupperware, foil and saran wrap. Large kitchen table seats 6-8 people pretty easily. Back yard could use a little tidying up with undergrowth. Loved having the fire ring to enjoy on cool nights. Really enjoyed our stay!

The house was amazing!! We had the greatest time! The hot tub was nice and hot, the beds were very comfortable, and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend! I will be keeping this house in mind for my next trip to Michigan.

The house was large and had tons of space for a nice group of people there wasn’t one time where it felt to cramped the entire stay

Rooms were spacious and clean, great beds and pillows, ample towels and blankets. There was so much room to spread out and relax, we could have had more people stay (we had 5). Would have been great for multiple families and kids too. Bonus was the off street parking and the beach passes (we didn't use because it was cold). Nice yard and deck! Only downside was that the hot tub was not working, which the property manager let us know before our stay and offered several very acceptable solutions to the problem. She was very accommodating. Only downside if I had to find one was that the fully stocked pantry is slim. We needed olive oil and there was none. Everything else was just great! We will definitely consider this place if we come to this area again!

We had a lovely time in Michiana! The house had a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels and linens, and enough room for shared meals and fun. The kids toys and books upstairs were a plus, and the hot tub provided the extra relaxation we needed! Definitely would stay again!

Check in was easy. The property owner is an excellent communicator. This home has plenty of space to spread out, with comfortable beds, plenty of linens and towels, and a roomy eat in kitchen. The walk-way was slick, as there is an icy spot from melting ice from the roof. They was salt provided however, so we salted several times. Good places to eat around this area, and the hot tub was quite relaxing and easy to use. The sliding glass door sticks/is hard to open. Some suggestions are: Add some more hooks throughout the place. Shovel/salt better the front walkway and the path to the hot tub better. General updating and painting could make the inside space more inviting.
