Summer 2024 - Updated 2 Bedroom in Snug Harbor/East Matunuck
Casa de playa actualizada con vistas lejanas del agua en el tranquilo Snug Harbor / East Matunuck Beach. A solo una cuadra de Point Judith Pond y tres de los puertos deportivos más bonitos de Rhode Island. Aproximadamente 3/4 de milla a East Matunuck State Beach, el Matunuck Oyster Bar, Captain Jack's y Jim's Dock. Duerme 4-6. Dormitorio del primer piso con cama queen. We had a great two week stay at this rental in Snug Harbor! The location was perfect - just a 5 minute drive to East Matunuck beach, Matunuck Oyster Bar, etc. We drove to a number of great hiking trails in the area, took the ferry to Block Island (ferry was ~10-15 min away), and checked out Narragansett, Wakefield, and Newport (~30 min). We brought bikes with us and walked a lot too; everything was very accessible. The house was a perfect size and a bonus that it was dog friendly! (For those of you bringing dogs there is no fence so we used a long lead in the yard). The kitchen was equipped with good quality cookware, a big fridge, and spices, and the grill was awesome! There were plenty of comfortable linens, bath towels, and beach towels, and access to laundry, which was a big help! We loved using the outdoor shower and fire pit. Laurie was very kind and communicative. I would highly recommend this rental. We were so sad to leave!

It's always a pleasure to stay here. Laurie is extremely responsive and helpful as a host. The space has all the amenities of home. We were able to make the most of our indoor day cooking our own meals and watching a movie on one of the storm days during our visit. The location is perfect to enjoy all of the best of RI. I highly recommend a stay here.

Very quant & cozy, in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect surroundings for my husband & I. Best of all was that our dog was welcomed too. The cottage had everything we needed to prepare our seafood meals & more. If you love seafood you must try the Ocean Catch Seafood market in Wakefield, only a 10 minute drive.Located close to the beach so that we were able to go back & forth to check on our pup. The beds were very comfortable too.

Great location with all the conveniences of home!
This property is in a great spot of RI. It also offers all of the conveniences of home. My dog even enjoys staying here! We’ll definitely return in the future. This was our second or third stay at this property.

This property exceeded all of our expectations - it was exactly as advertised. It was clean, and in a friendly yet quiet neighborhood, which is a prime location of RI. My dog even enjoyed playing on the grass and going for walks in the neighborhood. Laurie recommended a dog beach nearby which was fun for the dog, but not the bunnies he wanted to chase. We really appreciated her communication prior and during our stay. The weather didn't work out in our favor, but we were able to cook, and rest comfortably inside the home when we didn't have ideal beach weather. I had a bit of goldilocks moment finding the most comfortable bed for me, but it worked out by mid-week. I was very pleased to have access to A/C during the hot, muggy weather. We definitely want to return in the near future. Thank you to Laurie for sharing her beautiful home with all of us.

Perfect vacation home
From my initial communication with Laurie to my ability to cook for family with every utensil imaginable- this sweet home has it all. Peaceful deck and neighborhood with great walks for my dog. Little slice of Rhode Island-style Heaven
My wife and I were in the middle of a big home renovation project and needed to get away for a while. We happened upon this property as it's near where I went to college, so I was familiar with the area, the beaches, the nice and calm pace of things. This didn't disappoint. It overdelivered! The location is perfect to the beach, the wildlife refuge(s), and most importantly, great food. Neighbors are incredibly friendly, perfect for dogs and incredibly quiet at night. We loved our stay. Laurie was great and we're definitely planning to go back soon!

☀️Beach House~Home Away from Home 😎
What a great place to stay !! Myself, two of my dear friends & my dog spent a relaxing week here. Laurie was very helpful & accommodating. It really was like,staying in a home, away from home. Everything you need to cook she had. Beds comfy, walks down to the marina every morning to watch the sunrise... The neighbors were great too !! Close to great beaches restaurants, but nestled in a very quiet area.

Fantastic getaway spot.
We had a terrific week in Snug Harbor. Laurie was an excellent property manager who was reachable when we had a question and gave us some great restaurant recos.
Big bonus for us was the South Kingstown Dog Park - the nicest dog park we have seen in the US.
Place was as advertised, and perfect for our family of 4.

Quiet getaway
The house is in great condition. Everything you NYU’s is there for an enjoyable stay: fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, books, magazines and games, fast WiFi and cable. Decorations make it feel like home. The owner is great. Upgraded the cable so I could watch the bowl games. A+ ALL AROUND.

Lovely Cottage at Christmas
My wife, 2 adult daughters and I spent 4 nights here thru Christmas. It was GREAT. The home is decorated very nicely and was just the right size for the 4 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and because of the open floorplan, the cook was still apart of the rest of the family conversations.
While the location may be the draw for others, we were just looking for a place to enjoy family time over the Holiday....and this was a home run! Would love to come back again. Many thanks to Laurie for sharing.

Great Rhode Island find!
What a lovely cottage. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Couches And dining room chairs super comfortable. House was SO well appointed, esp if you like to cook. Great location, great communication with owner who could not have been nicer. Highly recommend this property for a couple or small group who don’t mind sharing a bathroom. We will rent this cottage again when we return to RI.

Wonderful pet friendly beach experience.
House location, amenities and host were all fantastic. Laurie(host) met us on first day of stay and her personality and welcoming approach made us and our animals feel right at home. We were exceptionally pleased with every aspect of our stay.

Perfect location
Super quiet neighborhood and perfectly placed for outdoor activities. 5 minutes from East Matunuck Beach and 10 minutes from Narragansett town beach plus lots of local walking trails in the woods. Our hosts were extremely attentive and we enjoyed our stay in their home.

A wonderful house close to several marinas, town launch, short walk to the nicest beach. The house was equipped with most everything my family needed. The owner is very close by if I needed anything.

Great location. Nice cottage.
This was a nice place to stay with my dog. Easy access to many beaches and trails. The only cons were that the locks were very difficult to lock and the outlets were wonky-some worked and others did not. Many of the lamps and one of the overhead lights in the first floor bedroom did not work or had no bulbs. The trash was not emptied in the rooms upon arrival.

Perfect! Clean, comfortable & close to boat launch.
We enjoyed our stay, was perfect! All the amenities of home. Great walk to East Matunuck Beach. Close to boat launch of fishing is your thing.
Only suggestion is additional TVs would be nice in bedroom and upstairs plus a clothing rack to hang clothes for upstairs bedroom.
Planning on going back next year!

Snug Harbor Vacation
Very clean, great location and quiet area. Laurie was extremely helpful (we had a car problem), recommending a garage. They added an outside shower while we were there. Once the shower is enclosed the house will be perfect.

nice house and location!
Laurie was helpful and readily available when needed. The house is cute and we liked the location. Nice and quiet, too! It was not as clean as we'd hoped, which is why it's 4 rather than 5 stars. We enjoyed (outside) visits with Stormy, the cat who lives next door! Amenities were very good and beds were good, too. Thank goodness for the A/C! Thank you, Laurie!

Great family Vacation spot to Relax
Quaint small cottage nestled on quiet cul de sac with parking for 4 cars, beautiful kitchen, dining area and living room and bedrooms. (loved the décor). Nice indoor bath glass enclosed shower. good A/C for those hot humid days we were there. plenty of amenities, just had to bring clothes food and beach towels. handy laundry in basement. Owner, Laurie, gave us our privacy, but easily reachable for any concerns. close to beach, less than mile. Only cons: no outdoor shower, screen door to deck broken. We enjoyed and would like to stay here again.

Cozy little cottage in a good spot
The cottage was clean and came just as described. Laurie, the owner, was easy to contact. Aside from the street being unlabeled, it was very easy to find, and less than 10 minutes from a large grocery store, several coffee shops and breakfast places, and multiple beaches, including the state beach 3 minutes away.
