Great location, beautiful property, cattle on site. We did not see any llamas or alpacas but we still loved the rural location not too far from Nashville. Bring your own toiletries including paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap and spices/seasonings. The pool was great entertainment for the family.

We enjoyed our stay at Morning Star Ranch immensely. The accommodations matched the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups and cooking utensils. We had many pool table tournaments and thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. The visit by the cows was a daily treat. A great time had by everyone.

We had a wonderful stay at the Morning Star Ranch! We had 14 extended family members from ages 1 to 74 staying to celebrate a fiftieth wedding anniversary. We swam, watched cows, played wiffle ball in the yard, barbecued, and had an amazing time. Thank you so much to the host!

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette trip and we absolutely loved the property! We arrived late at night and finding the place in the dark was a little challenging. But once we saw it in the day it was much easier. The property is absolutely beautiful! The views are stunning! The pool and hot tub was so much fun. And we loved the cows that wander around the fields near the house. All my friends couldn’t stop raving about how perfect they felt the house was for our group and for our plans. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to others! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.

Beautiful countryside and privacy for a getaway. Love seeing all the cows turkeys in a couple of deer. Would really enjoy going in the summertime to utilize the pool. All supplies at the house were appreciated! Owner is a super nice man.

Property is as listed. We spent all weekend in the pool and enormous spa. Plenty of room for our family of 13 to spread out and enjoy. The owner didn't respond to email or phone calls but we figured out what we needed. Overall it was great and we may return in the future.

Plenty of bedrooms so everyone could have their own space as needed… naps and such. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, pots etc. The pool was lovely, gated and well lite at night. Plenty of nice beach towel. Todd was responsive to our requests/questions. Kids enjoyed seeing cows and turkeys and feeding the 1 alpaca.
No chickens but the kids did not care. I think the adults were more disappointed about not being able to collect eggs. Everything thing you need is a short drive away in Pleasantville and Nashville is a quick drive away.

The family absolutely loved the pool - that was the highlight of our family vacation to Tennessee. We had to contact the property manager upon arrival and he was easy to get a hold of and took care of our questions promptly. We had plenty of room for our extended family trip. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We definitely rent again if we ever come back to the area.

This is our 4th year doing a friends vacation with a group of ten and this house was one of the best! It was extremely quiet location and the house had everything we needed. It was clean and the owners provided several extra items that other houses do not. The outdoor pool and hot tub was the highlight of the trip. Would highly recommend this house to anyone traveling to the Nashville area.

The outside facilities (pool, fire table, animals) were awesome! Couldnt have been happier. The inside of the house needs a deep clean. The baseboards and windowsills were noticably dirty and the bakers rack above the stove was so dirty that we cleaned it.

Absolutely stunning house and property. Every room was stocked with everything you could need. Very comfy and cozy atmosphere. Pool and hot tub area was incredible. Property manager was responsive, helpful when needed, informative. Fantastic experience all the way around.

The absolute best 5 days we have had! Everything was PERFECT!! The house was fantastic! The pool house was perfect! The pool and hot tub were unbelievable! The cows grazing in the pasture were the perfect background while hanging at the pool!

This was a great family place. Pool was used day and night. Had everything we needed. Maybe an instruction sheet on the hot tub. Maybe a few updated pictures. The Cabana was a great addition. Our daughter, son in law and 2 teenagers stayed there. Was fun having the cows to watch and fishing in their pasture was fun. We had a very fun family vacation. We would definitely come back.

Unique country home with amazing pool.
We have stayed at several larger homes with inground pools with our family, but this pool is the best! The design offers something for all ages. It was heated and salt water. There is no diving board but that was fine with us. It was extremely hot so the kids and a couple of adults only used the hot tub once but it very large and looks like fun. The house met our needs and was clean snd attractive. I loved the stained glass windows. The pool house smelled a bit musty. The couple using one of the bedrooms used the master bathroom in the main house for showering but that was not a problem. The kids loved seeing and feeding the alpacas. The alpacas and cows hung around the pond most of the time because of the heat. The grounds were not really that nice for playing whiffle ball., etc. but the view was amazing and calming. This home is on a farm. The cows right up to the house but I think because a gate was left open. They were not a threat at all. Communication was always available with management.

Friends caught some good size bass in the pond, Alpacas we’re so much fun to feed and watch and the hot tub was amazing ! The absolute ONLY downfall is it took about 45 minutes to get to downtown Nashville, other than that everything was perfect .. despite the drive I would still choose to stay here to have the experience and fun things to do on property. There’s a little town probably 5-10 minutes down the road where we went a few times for breakfast and lunch & they have any essentials you may need. The owner was even nice enough to let us check in early ! Highly recommend ! (Pool wasn’t open for our stay since it was March/April but we will DEFINITELY be back for another stay when we can get in!!)

The grandparents were able to have a place to retreat to when the kids got too loud. The hot tub was amazing and easily accommodated all 11 of us. We used it every night and the kids thought it was the best of the trip. We enjoyed feeding the alpacas and walking the property grounds. It was a great family trip where we could all unplug and relax. Definitely reccomend! **Todd was quick to respond when we needed assistance.

This home was perfect to accommodate our large group. It had everything and more that we could have asked for during our stay. The only downfall was the drive to Nashville and the visit by the mouse, which was rectified by the exterminator the next morning!!!

Great Property
Beautiful, fun, clean, and comfortable beds! 2 future suggestions: a map of the property to help guests understand where everything is, and spray for bugs! We had a pretty major spider problem in the pool area and pool house in addition to A LOT of stink bugs. This is a remote property and bugs are to be expected, but the spiders in the pool area were attracted to the water and were EXCESSIVE. Outside of the bugs, it’s a great place and I would recommend!
