Everything is exceptional from the beautiful appointed rooms, to the delicious food and the top class service from all staff. We had a beach front room which was a great spot to catch some sun around the private pool.

The service was amazing! The hotel staff was very friendly and caring, they gave us good recomendations on day excursions by long-tail boat. The room was very nice, the hotel restaurant very good, overall this was a great value for money and we had a great time staying here. We really recommend!

Our stay at Purana was utterly sublime!!! We would go back there in a heartbeat! The highlights were: Friendly, attentive, caring staff who made us feel at home Fresh and delicious food at the hotel restaurant - we enjoyed every single breakfast and dinner they served Incredible villa with an infinity pool and a breathtaking view of the islands Comfortable bed, the whole space was well decorated and equipped Chattering birds and monkeys in the tropical forest, a very nice sound to wake and fall asleep to. The property is so well maintained Bikes and scooters for rent to go to the nearby villages and beaches on the island

I can't think of a single thing that we didn't like. This hotel is sensational. Visitors looking to be within walking distance of the main tourist beach strip on Koh Yao Noi (i.e. Pasai Beach) will find Purana to be on the more remote side of the island. You need a bike, scooter or taxi to go to the more central parts of the island. We preferred this setup, but some people might not.

The booking was uncomplicated, the free transfer to the pier was nice! Greeted by welcoming staff we stayed at this nicely in a calm, therefore little remote, area situated hotel. We enjoyed the view (a lovely sunset) from our bed/ pool and slept with the lovely sound of the surrounding nature. Sumai gave us quite some good advice about the Island and travel arround. The hotel-scooter we rented worked just fine (it is a serpentigious street to the hotel, you might need some level of experience). The dinner was tasty and authentic thai cuisine. Purana really made our honeymoon memorable. Till next time..

The only thing we think improveworthy are the pillows. They're a bit too fluffy and thus a little high for our taste.

Dream location with jaw dropping views. Complete privacy. Authentic food with a very attentative staff. Perfect, absolut perfect holidays! Can't wait to come back to this heaven on earth place. Many thanks to the Purana staff!

Everything you can possibly need, the Resort provides. Expedition to Hong islands, motor bike rental etc. it was an amazing experience.

Cozy and quiet little gem of a hotel. Amazing friendly warm staff, going out of their way to make you feel welcome, its like coming home to family. Everything was so clean and well kept, villa 8 is amazing with beautiful views of the ocean and a nice very clean pool, i didnt want to leave. Motorbike rental was easy and well priced. Everything is so well thought of, honestly i have never been to a better hotel, that makes you feel so at home while being so luxurious. thank you Purana Team! 💗

we have had a fantastic stay and wished we could stay longer. we stayed at a villa 8 for 4 nights with pool and I highly recommend to take one of the villas with a pool. the view and privacy of the resort and villa is unparalleled. superb food from the restaurant which we enyojed on our terace every evening while enjoying the sunset. super friendly staff, beautyfull and airy rooms and the big pool was also great. a scooter / bycicle is needed to get around the island.

Nice Hotel, room we took was small though. the property itself has a lot of greenery and nice view to the beach. the hotel also hosts events on the beach which is very nice of them.

The location of this resort is amazing. The hotel picked us up in a shuttle, making the commute easy. And the resort sits on a private beach overlooking the bay and islands. Dreamy!

There isn't much right around the resort. But that's fine since the location is gorgeous.

Our stay in Purana was exceptional. We stayed 4 nights in Villa 1 and wish we would have stayed longer. The personnel is super friendly and helpful. The comfort, privacy and views from the house were amazing.

Beautifully situated in the west of the island, this is a great boutique hotel. Rooms are comfortable and outside spaces relaxing. It has amazing views from the hilltop villas and a shared sunset spot for all guests. The family and staff are very friendly and were helpful in arranging trips to beaches and across the island. As it is run by women, single women travelers would feel safe here. Fellow travelers were mostly couples.

Fabulous place to relax and unwind with the most helpful staff, everyone was so nice and always there to make our stay even better.

The purana resort is a little taste of paradise, we stayed for 4 nights but could’ve stayed more it was fantastic. The staff are all so friendly and professional, they are very attentive. Breakfast and restaurant food was good- we had room service delivered to our villa twice and both times very tasty. We stayed in villa 1, and if you can I absolutely recommend it! Even on our fourth day we couldn’t get over the views and how lucky we were to find this place. It’s beautiful and even more perfect than the photos. It’s remote, at the top of a very steep hill but there is a buggy to take you up and down. Restaurants 5-10 mins taxi away which the staff happily arranged for us. Also arranged our boat on the day we left to krabi. Hired a scooter and sidecar which was 700 baht for 24 hours- not bad at all and got to see the whole island and the more beautiful beaches (the beach in front of the hotel is okay but not for sunbathing) Shared our villa with 2 small geckos which I was very pleased about as its in a jungle environment we could have had much more. Thankyou Purana for the best stay of our holiday - we will be back hopefully in a few years!

Purana is one of the best places we have ever been; we were there for 5 nights and stayed both at the beschikbaar villa and villa with a Pool. Beautyful, comfortabel and complete. The staff was great and did their utmost to meet our wishes. We had dinner at the Purana restaurant every night, Just because it was so good. The Mojito was the best. We would recommend Purana to everyone Who likes luxury combined with excellent service.
