We had a mini moon here after returning from Paris. We wanted a couple of days of rest and tranquility without travelling for hours. We live on Anglesey, and this lodge ticked all our boxes . It lived up to its expectations.. it was heaven . The staff kindly left us a bottle of prosecco and other just married signs and petals The hot tub was divine .. The lodge was clean and had everything we needed .

Perfect getaway with family. Everything was so nice and clean. The property was impeccable. Staff was very courteous. Me and my family had a wonderful time there. Would definitely come again. Highly recommended.

Unexpected charge for dogs (although it's in the booking.com description, it should be made clear and/or an add-on option when booking) - staff said the surcharge was normal for dogs at caravan parks, but we hadn't experienced this before. Staff also said dogs require a lot more cleaning after, although I'd bet we left the caravan cleaner than some people without dogs. Received every message from the caravan park 3 times, including invoices that made it look like our accommodation hadn't been paid for (when apparently this was just for the dog fee). Caravan stank of curry on arrival (opening the windows for a few hours helped). No grass for the dogs near to the caravan, so it was a walk to the dog area late at night, which wasn't enclosed. Not usually a problem, but the park advertises itself as dog-friendly. Gas oven was awkward to figure out (we couldn't get the flame to stay on initially), so instructions would have been useful.
