Big issue - dishwasher in kitchen is NOT ATTACHED to the counter which is a big issue. Should be repaired!!! Backyard was not advertised correctly - did not show house behind! All other amenities great.

The area is beautiful and the weather is great. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting outside in the morning enjoying the weather. We are from Texas, and it will be boiling hot soon so the cold mornings were a welcome retreat. The kids enjoyed the game room at the house, and the house fit 10 of us comfortably. We were on alert for bears, so we tried to follow the directions for the garbage to a T. The house is minutes away from a grocery store and eateries, coffee shops. Also any beach you would like to try is within driving distance.

This large house was perfect for our family group. There were plenty of bathrooms. Our younger kids did not feel comfortable to sleep in the bunk beds. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen, towels and extra blankets. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

This lovely home is the perfect place to stay for a big group with multiple activity options. There is a hot tub for four, multiple game tables (billiards, air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard, video games) as well as plenty of DVD’s and board games. With multiple levels and and 4 full bathrooms, there is plenty of room to spread out. The location is in a quiet neighborhood not far from Heavenly Village and multiple restaurants and shops. The home is well maintained and comfortable. RNR is very responsive and the check in is very easy. Highly recommended!!

Overall we had a great time and loved the villa. We were hoping for snow like last year but Mother Nature didn’t comply.
On our last night, the bedroom with the adjoining bathroom on 2nd floor had some type of very loud humming which seemed to be in the ceiling. It would hum for about a minute and stop, then start again every 3 minutes until morning. That was the only room you could hear it in and that was the only night it occurred.
Other than that we all had a great time and are talking about booking it again next year.

The house is beautiful! The bear decorations everywhere are a nice touch, and our group loved that the hot tub went up to 104 degrees. The open kitchen/living room on the top floor was a great central spot for our group, the game room was a great place to hang, and the house had a huge selection of DVDs to pick from.
Would happily stay there again! My only note is that the air hockey puck needs to be replaced - it's too light and flies all over the place. Also there was a surprise early morning drop-in from some window cleaners (but that was resolved easily with the owner's on-call line).

House was perfect for Thanksgiving. We all had room and for the week the weather was perfect. I got the high score on pinball just over 7 million and we had the best time seeing the sights of South Lake Tahoe. The house was amazing and so much room. The game room was perfect for the kids and kitchen was great for cooking. The couch upstairs was losing feathers and the water pressure is low but other thank that it was great.

Our group had the best time at Black Bear Villa! The house was beautiful, spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked and fun to cook in. We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the beds were, and amazed at how nice the bedding was. We all had a blast in the huge game room, and the hot tub was a great addition to our relaxing vacation. The street was nice and quiet, and there was plenty of space for the family to play outside in the snow. We can't wait to go back year after year!

The game room is huge and perfect for teens, although adults will enjoy it too! We also love staying in this neighborhood b/c it feels away from the chaos but is not far at all, and it has great hiking/snowshoeing trails. When there is snow on the ground there is good sledding too.

I stayed at the Black Bear Villa with my wife and son plus 2 other families for our spring break. The place was perfect plenty of room to relax, large kitchen with everything we needed, hot tub, and even some toys for the kids. The game room in the basement provided hours of evening entertainment.

I have rented a large house or cabin twice a year for the last ten years for family get togethers and all said this is their favorite so far. Only real complaint was ice in driveway very slick and my son almost fell getting out of the car and another car almost slid into another car parked in the driveway .Except for the big storm bout six weeks previously, there hasn't been any recent snow. The house is in the shade so it doesn't melt quickly and this potentially dangerous situation should be remedied.
