We loved the house. It was very spacious and we had plenty of room. When we got there, the A/C had stopped working. At first, we thought it was just taking a while to cool down from not being on. Around 10:30 at night, I called and she tried walking us through making sure everything was set correctly. When that didn’t work, she had an A/c repairman there the next morning. He fixed part of it and had to order a part for the upstairs unit. She explained, apologized, and he was back the very next day. I thought it was a fast turnaround and she even gave us some credit back for the 2 days with problems. I would highly recommend this property to stay at. My only complaint is the master bedroom is large, spacious and beautiful however it doesn’t have a good mattress. I’m not sure it is even a mattress, looked like a topper on top of a mattress board. It was very hard and uncomfortable. We had to blow up an air mattress to put on top of it. Everything else was perfect! I would definitely stay here again.

The property is beautiful and had everything we needed. We are two families vacationing together- 11 people total and there was plenty of room for all of us.

Really loved this house. Was very spacious. Had plenty of room for all 10 of us. Especially liked that the five bedrooms were suitable for adults. Only one small issue - the bed in the master bedroom is not very comfortable, but this would not deter us from booking again, and we certainly plan to stay at this house again next year.

Location is great! You can shop 30 minutes away, white water rafting is 50 minutes away, there’s boat rentals & tours, or just fish off the dock. The local Waffle House is great. Literally anything outdoorsy is around you! House itself is beautiful and accommodating. Communication was great. Would definitely love to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very large and plenty of room. Lots of things that make it fun (pool table, back deck, beach area, hot tub, lake dock, etc). We enjoyed local spots for food, namely: * 211 Main Street Restaurant, Lavonia, GA * Southern Appalachian Smokehouse, Lavonia, GA * The Galley, Anderson, SC The towels (other than master) were quite cheap quality. Fairly limited supplies of paper towels and TP. Kitchen could have a bit more items like cups, glasses, silverware, etc as it is a big house and supplies were more limited than I would have expected. Having said all that, we'd stay there again. Thanks!

Our group of longtime friends gathered for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the house on the lake. The dock and floating pad were used all day every day, and the house itself was great for our group, with lots of space and indoor and outdoor seating. The Blackstone grill/griddle was amazing to use for multiple meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). A little light on silverware and drinking glasses for the size of house, but we had plastic ware to supplement. Very clean upon arrival and very clear instructions for check out. We had a great visit!

Rental process was very easy. The location is perfect. The house is very nice and well kept. It looks and smells new. Nicely furnished although the main living area could use a couple of comfy chairs given the number of people it sleeps. Also the beds are not the most comfortable, but we had no issues sleeping! Very nice boat dock with a slip for your boat. Beautiful property!!

Ten of us (family) drove from opposite ends of the country to meet here— in the middle. It was the perfect location for our reunion. We arrived a bit early, but Venus had no issue letting us in. You don't realize how spacious the house is until you're there. There were plenty of beds and seating to accommodate everyone, and we had no problems cooking up meals in the kitchen, despite what previous reviews had mentioned about a lack of dishes. (There were plenty of pots, pans, bowls, plates, cups, etc.) The house is beautiful, as well as the property. It's a very short walk to the lake with a private dock- the kids had a blast. We spent a lot of time on the water and even rented a boat from the neighboring park. The firepit was nice to make smores, the hot tub was great except that it started turning green by our second day there. Overall we have no big complaints.

It exceeded our expectations

This house is very large and attractive. The dock is a great place for swimming in a quiet cove. Furnishings are comfy and there are many nice touches. The only shortcoming is that the kitchen equipment does not live up to the otherwise convenient house. The house sleeps 13 but there are only 10 forks and spoons so we had to do lots of washing. Pots and pans are pretty beat up too.

The house is impeccably decorated and well laid out. Plenty of space for 10+ people. There is plenty of privacy with three floors. We were there between Christmas and New Years and there is not much going on or open but the area is beautiful and could see having a wonderful time on the lake in warmer temperatures. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was perfect!

What a beautiful house in a fantastic location! long weekend with extended family, an annual tradition in a new place every year. We were so impressed with location - private, but close enough to town and amenities not to be inconvenient. This was our first visit to Lavonia, such a cute town! Tugaloo State Park is easy walking distance from the house, with great hiking trails, tennis courts, a beach - great facilities. The house has its own swimming dock, which the kids really enjoyed, along with a hot tub. Great layout for a family group, with lots of space in common areas, but also plenty of room to retreat for a quiet moment in your own corner, either inside or outside to 2 levels of decking, a fire pit, picnic tables on the way to the dock. House has large, comfortable bedrooms with giant closets and plenty of storage space - dens upstairs and downstairs kept all our football fans happy watching their own teams. and a pool table for kids of all ages! Very thoughtful, comfortable layout. Parents were super impressed with comfort and layout of ground level master bedroom and bath - complete with private screened in porch. Property manager was very helpful with local suggestions, and promptly responded to questions - thank you, Venus! No real negatives - only constructive criticism re house is that beds downstairs were not very comfortable (think one step up from box springs; however upstairs beds very firm - perfect). and one word of caution: kitchen is huge but nearly empty cabinets - we had to run the dishwasher after every meal for our party of 8. As departure instructions require guests to remove all items brought, incoming renters should be prepared to bring anything they might need for kitchen (aluminum foil, plastic cups, ziploc bags, dishwashing detergent, a sharp knife, etc). there is a Dollar General Store very close to the house for purchase of necessary items - including cute floats for the lake. Also two grocery stores in town with all the essentials. Agree with prior comments that house is like new - very well laid out and maintained. We had a wonderful long weekend and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for our family getaway.

My family and friends had such a great time at this property helping me celebrate a milestone birthday! The house was extremely clean when we arrived and has plenty of space to accommodate a large group. There is a little walk down to the dock but it's relatively level ground which is hard to find at many other places on the lake! A good number of essential items were also provided which was a nice surprise and much appreciated! I would definitely recommend this home to other people looking to spend some great time on the lake with a few families! Beautiful Property!

A group of ten golfers stayed in the house. The house was brand new and very nice. Great communication from the owner. I would definitely use this property again without hesitation.

Our entire family, including 6 young grandchildren enjoyed a long weekend at Lake Hartwell. The home handles a crowd well and large closets in several bedrooms allow for setting up pack n plays for babies and air mattresses for young children so they can sleep in the room with parents. The sand area in the back yard was enjoyed by all the kids. If you don’t know the lake area tie a bright shirt or flag on the dock so you can spot it when you come around the corner from the state park by boat. Only thing missing was a few more utensils in the kitchen and some kid friendly plates and plastic cups. Otherwise a very well supplied home.

This home was gorgeous from top to bottom with a huge kitchen—just what we were hoping for. The house appears to be absolutely brand new, everything was super clean / tidy, and the whole place smelled very pleasant (the smell of a new house). We had a tremendous experience staying at this place on a weekend getaway! I highly recommend this rental!
