My husband and I enjoy our stayed at this cottage. We were looking for a quite place to relax, we founded here! it was nice and quite!!

We had a great time at the cabin, it's perfectly laid out for 2-4 people and beautifully located in the woods across the road from the lake. Just remember that you have to bring blankets, pillows and bedsheets, they are not provided. Great location for a foliage weekend!

This cabin was the perfect size for us. Very private area, neighbors were all very friendly. Private beach was a short walk with a beautiful view. Will be back again.

My husband and I wanted a final get away before he started chemo. It was very nice. It was really quiet. It was easy to get the kayaks in the waters.

Loved how you have neighbors but cant see them! Felt so private. I was found most on the big deck out front overlooking the lake. Very clean and the owners response time is great! Would stay again!

A perfect little getaway - screened in porch for the win! Definitely for just a small family, but a lovely little home with amazing access to the water. We rented paddleboards and kayaks and it was perfect to spend the days out on the water or on the beach. I wish the kitchen had a couple more "staple" items (baking sheet, olive oil) but overall the cabin was a great stay!

We had a lovely week.! The cabin was as advertised. Clean, quiet, and quaint. 4 adults in this 480sq ft home were quite comfortable. The porch and deck was a lovely space for morning coffee and relaxing. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood. The beach which is 4 houses down from this home was clean and perfect for launching kayaks or floating around in the heat of the day. Would definitely recommend and rent again.

Property is private and quiet. Lake access is a short walk.

This was our first time staying at this adorable cabin. Clean, quaint, comfortable and pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

My wife and i just wanted a get away, This was the perfect place for that. Pretty quite neighborhood. Houses are not real close to each other,so no looking into someone elses window. Excellent screened in porch to sit and read or relax. Deck is very big, Everything was clean,and everthing worked as it should. If you are looking for a get away,or have a couple children, its a great place, nice beach right down the street. Thank You Mr Smith for a great get away.

We had a great Labor Day weekend here. All we wanted was a camp by the water and this delivered. What a great neighborhood - beaches are scattered around the lake and everyone keeps them clean. Cabin was clean and comfortable. We would definitely rent this again.

We were reliving to NH from NY. Our closing for pushed and needed to find temporary housing. My family is so thankful we found this wonder home. The house had everything we needed. We loved the screened porch and grill.

Great quiet place. Tranquility if that's what you need. Screened porch a blessing in the rain. Close beaches with parking are awesome. Linens and towels provided were rather weak. 4 pillows in queen bedroom but only 2 pillowcases provided. ( I bought more at Walmart and took home with me) Towels provided did not include washcloths or a bathmat that was desperately needed on the slick bathroom floor. No air conditioning, which was not promised, but we had to buy a large velocity fan at Wal-Mart to keep the air comfortable. Nice place and location , but be prepared for high humidity due to the current weather

We had a great stay at this cabin. The kitchen was clean and we did not need anything that was not in the cabinets. The cabin has WiFi and we connected our phones quickly. The bedrooms are small but just right for great sleeping. The mattress was firm and comfortable. The living room has access to the large deck and the screened-in porch. We had a nice quiet week. Just what was needed to relax and recharge.

The cabin is relatively small, but clean and functional. It is across the street from the lake, a few hundred feet to the beach. Quiet area. Nice owner. About 6 miles to restaurants and stores. The two small bedrooms allow for children or another couple.

Location was great for us. We used it as "base camp" so we could explore the lakes, mountains, sea coast & covered bridges. Quiet community around a smaller lake, ease of accessibility was great.

We had a great time here in this little cabin. The owner was very helpful. The only slight disappointment was no A.C. when we first got here. owner did however provide 2 window fans which to our surprise was very pleasant We're from Florida where you have to have A.C. but the summers here are nothing compared to there. Everything you need in the cabin was provided. However would have loved to have another set of towels. Not to big of a deal we found a Walmart and bought some more. The cabin itself was perfect. The outside deck was great for early morning views of Lake sawyer and evening dinners. The only thing I will say about the view which has nothing to do with the cabin itself is the property across from us has about 7 cars lined up right in front of our drive way which when your on vacation you kind of want to take in the beauty of this lake and instead you have a view of all these cars which also made it hard for us to get out of our driveway. You have to go up the road to turn around. There is a couple of beach entry's to chose from. There was some board games and some toys provided as well which we did utilize one night which was a lot of fun. Cell phone service was not the best for us and the Internet that was provided wasn't that great we had to wait till we got to town to make a phone call..

It was another wonderful stay at this hidden gem, I cannot say enough about this cabin and location. It is clean, peaceful, and the owner is very accommodating. I can't wait to go back next year.

My friend and I had a great time, we stayed for 3 nights over labor day weekend, which was great in itself because many places only offered week long rentals. I had no trouble finding the place using my GPS. Looks just like the pictures, very clean and very inviting. We cooked a few meals on the stovetop and on the grill. There are 5 beaches on Sawyer lake, the closest one (#1) is to your LEFT if you are carrying a lot of stuff! I had a great time snorkeling and swimming. It was quite busy around the lake (being Labor Day weekend) but everyone was very very friendly. Weirs beach and all its attractions is a 20 minute drive or so. Owner is very nice and refunded my security deposit right away. I definitely hope to come back next year and stay longer.

This is a fantastic spot, the camp is clean and quiet. There were several nice beaches to enjoy, and docks to fish from. Belmont is a nearby town with restaurants and a grocery store which was only about 20 minutes away. I especially enjoyed the food at Shooters. I hope to return to this spot next year, definitely a good find.

This was my second stay at this cabin, and I hope to be able to make this an ongoing yearly visit....it's definitely a home away from home! This is the perfect place if you're looking for a fully equipped, clean and relaxing vacation. The beach is just a few steps away, with a lake large enough to have fun with your kayak or motorboat, yet small enough to walk around (which I did every morning). You can keep your kayak or canoe on the beach all week worry-free. Sawyer Lake is so much more quiet than Lake Winnepesaukee, yet all the attractions of Laconia, Meredith and other lakeside towns are just a short drive up the road. I spent most of my days on the outside deck overlooking the lake, and just felt I was in heaven. The area is quiet, private and neighbors are very friendly. The screened indoor porch was a great place to have meals, or just relax. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a great lakeside vacation.

We had a great time. The cabin was clean and had all the basics to cook with. The deck and screened in porch was our favorite spot to relax. The driveway and porch are lighted at night. There are several beaches to choose from and beach 1 was our favorite with sandy shore and a dock to jump off from. Weirs beach is 20 mins away with a great arcade close by. We cant wait to come back next year.

This is a beautiful rental property. It is clean, spacious and wonderfully appointed. The appliances are top of the range and the decor is first class. The owner was very professional and answered all enquiries . Great beach a very short walk away. The best vacation we've ever had in New Hampshire and without a doubt the best home we have ever stayed. Thanks Bob.

My fiance and I had a wonderful time. Upon our arrival the owners were there to receive us. They were warm and friendly. The lake/beach is 2 minutes walking distance and the locals were also warm and friendly. The cabin accommodations contained all the necessities we needed to maintain our stay. Especially the barbeque grill. We shopped for groceries for the week of our stay in Laconia and Louden (about a 10-15 min drive from Gilmanton). We enjoyed the drive to Weirs beach, also about 10-15 min away. We discovered Walmart and the Dollar store on our way to Weirs beach. Across the street from Weirs Beach there is a Drive in Movie Theatre, water rides park and restaurants. The movie box office, I believe was open begining on Thurs though the weekend. We enjoyed a double feature and the box office opens @7:00 pm. The Cabain is Great for a family vacation or just a quiet getaway from the city. I definately recommend this homeaway getaway.
