We have done several vrbo rentals and this was definitely in the top 3! We loved the pool table downstairs and the hot tub. Also a great view from the rooftop. The indoor patio was a great place for our morning coffee. It definitely felt like home away from home. It was so cozy and relaxing inside and out! We also loved how close it was to the beach. We had such a great time and are already planning our next stay!

This property had a little for everyone. Great view from the top, nice location and plenty of space.

Clean, Quick, no hassle, good view of the sunrise, plenty of entertainment, dog friendly, and me friendly! This will definitely be a home we rent in the years to come when our pets are traveling with us, or it's a larger family vacation. Stores everywhere and short drive to the beach access. You can even walk to purchase a new vehicle if you'd like. Overall a good experience and kids had a blast with the hot tub and pool table. Thanks for the accommodations!

The main floor and top floors are done and very nice. It looks like the basement floor is still in progress but worked out fine.

Cool house, in a nice neighborhood. We had a fun time. Plenty of space to park vehicles in driveway. And plenty of room to sleep a good amount of people.

The location of this property was great, close to everything we wanted to do and we enjoyed being in a more residential area. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the roof deck!

This property was everything as advertised. Enough room for everybody. Kids loved the "Crow's Nest". Close enough to the beach to be convenient but far enough away from the main road so it was quiet and peaceful. Property was clean and well maintained and the owners responded quickly to any questions we had. We would rent again!!

Met some family from Ohio in the Outer Banks and this probably was awesome! Very clean and nice quiet neighborhood. Pictures on VRBO don’t do it justice. Pool table and dart board was great for the kids. We enjoyed riding bikes. Would have loved being closer to the beach but it was a 3 minute drive to a very nice public beach.

The whole process was very easy and the property owner was always prompt with answers to my questions.

We enjoyed staying at this place. The house has many indoor games - pool table, Dart, card and board games, which was nice to have around for a rainy day. For future, the property can be even better if backyard was bit clean , walkable and landscaped especially when you can see next door neighbor's nice and clean backyard. Our dog would have enjoyed it even more . Those trees are beautiful , they deserve some love :) . Swing was nice to have . I would certainly recommend this property for a big family, who enjoy quite and calm. Beach is slightly far to walk with chair and stuffs but , manageable for folks who enjoy walking. The bay side neighborhood has good sidewalk for a light morning walk for a dog. But, the bay access is not great for public access- seems like a perfect example of a capitalistic overreach, when few can make their own rules over the natural amenities. I was personally disappointed to see the size of public access and how it was designed to not give any walkability around it for general public... The neighborhood is quite and seemed like most of houses had vacationers. This property is nice for people who like to have restaurants, and other quick amenity choices around compared to Rodanthe, Avon, Hatters and etc. Property owners/managers are prompt to reply and cordial.

Very smooth and easy process.

Could use a sharp knife or knife sharpener. If your planning on doing any fishing, better bring a good knife. Gas grill's igniter doesn't work, it's pretty dirty (we ended up using tin foil) and the burner doesn't turn to low. There is a small charcoal grill available too. You can only access the (fenced) yard area from the ground floor. So if your taking a dog you will get a work out running down stairs to let it in and out. Small 2 person hot tub.. but very clean and heats well. Yard area is quite overgrown, which is not all bad. Creates a bit of privacy. Those are the only very minor issues. The house has a comfy lived in feel, so you don't feel like your walking on egg shells. 2-3 blocks from the sound, the ocean, restaurants, skate park, arcade, etc.. Short drive to see the corolla horses, several light houses, etc. Beach accesses are every where and FREE parking. The house has plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Outside shower is a wonderful necessity. You really do bring the beach, home with you! Remember your beach towels! There are boogie boards and bikes to use. Peaceful culti sac. Would recommend this rental, whole heartedly. Thank you for sharing your space and allowing us to bring along our furbaby (the human kids, too).

It’s not as easy of a walk to the Beach (crossing Croatian Hwy with children would be dangerous)—we elected to drive. The grill was out of gas and has to be lit with a lighter as the ignition switch rusted away. The Host said the gas for the grill was our responsibility, so we passed on grilling thought we had several meals planned to do so based on the advertisement. My final comment is in their rodent problem- we saw glue traps in the cabinet, but were hopeful. The second night we saw a field mouse and set out the traps. We didn’t catch it, but continued to see it. That made us extremely uneasy.

House felt like home. Comfortable home design; slept well even with full house. Clean and well stocked with kitchen items and games. Central location on the island. Easy travel to parks, bay, beach, and other attractions we were interested in. Convenient for walk and bike riding along paved bay path. Would stay again.

The online details were exactly how the house was. Crow's nest was great for watching sunsets. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard.

We spent a week here with two teenagers and a dog. It was great! The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioner and the Wi-Fi worked great, the pool table in the game room was a big hit and there was plenty of space to have some alone time. The beds were very comfortable , so we all slept great. Check in and out was very easy. Would stay again.

Had a great time and truly enjoyed this house. It was very spacious and a 5 minute drive to the beach.

My husband and I spent a week at the house with our three teenage children and our dog. We had plenty of room, and the house is very clean. We drove to the beach every day. The drive was less than five minutes, and we never had trouble finding parking.

This home was a great fit for our family of 5. This was our first vacation to the Outer Banks. The home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Kill Devil Hills. It is located on the sound side of the island not the Atlantic side and appears to be within more of a residential area, but It is within close driving distance to all of the main attractions that we wanted to visit such as the beaches, the Wright Brother’s Memorial, Jockey’s Ridge State Park, the Aquariam and the Corolla Wild Horse tours. It was also within minutes driving distance to various public beach accesses. We visited the beaches every day and never had an issue finding parking. It is also close to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and many other attractions. The kitchen of the house is well stocked with the basics needed to cook meals so we were able to cook our breakfast and dinner at the house. It is a very spacious home perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the Outer Banks. The kids loved the pool table, dart board and hot tub. There was also a storage bin full of games. The multiple decks provide beautiful views. Scott was easily to communicate with. Check in and out went very smoothly. We would definitely stay in this property again.

We loved how easy the home was to find. Upon arrival we followed the instructions and easily accessed the home. It was nice not having to go to a third party for the key. The home is very large and suited our needs perfectly. They provided the basics so that we didn't need to run out for soap and toilet paper until we wanted to go shopping. Easy location for access to the beaches and yet far enough away from the main strip to give us some solitude and restful sleep. Loved our stay and wanted to stay longer but this house seems to book quickly. Thanks to wonderful owners who were very easy to get in touch with through the home away app. Couldn't ask for a nicer stay.

This house is phenomenal. I highly recommend it to anyone considering vacationing in the Outer Banks. The house is in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the beach. It really makes you feel like you live there, versus just visiting. The fenced in yard was fantastic, as our dogs were able to run around off leash and enjoy the vacation as well. The house has 2 enclosed porches and three levels of deck/balcony including the Crow's Nest, great for spending time outdoors! The Crow's Nest offers stunning views of the ocean and is great for viewing both the sunrise over the ocean and the sunset over the sound. Inside the house is stunning as well! The kitchen, dining room and living room are spacious and open and the entire house is welcoming and comfortable. The 4 bedrooms are all fantastic and having a pool table is a wonderful bonus as well. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about the house. My expectations were vastly exceeded in every possible way!
