We have been warmly welcomed by our host Elfriede. The appatment is very nice, clean, well equiped and charmly decorated. The view from the balcony is so great ! The location is idealy situated in Ortisei, very close to shops and all commodities, easily accessible by foot. We really enjoyed our stay here ! We recommand it for sure !

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. The location is great - a little up the hill from where most restaurants are, and very near the promenade and the Seceda lift. Elfriede was very kind - for example, she picked us up from the San Antonio bus station with her car so we wouldn’t have to pull our suitcases uphill to her place. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was good. The balcony was wonderful and bigger than it appears in the photos. Our only minor complaint was that the WiFi was sometimes weak.

Elfriede’s Apartment is very well located, close to shops, transport and ski lifts/cable cars. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and functional. We loved the balcony which had a lovely view of Ortisei. Elfriede was very welcoming and helpful. A great little spot to stay!

Elfriede’s place was perfect for our visit to the Dolomites! Close to trails and lifts, and Ortisei is a really beautiful village and walkable. Elfriede was so kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Elfriede!!

We have stayed in this apartments two times. The owner makes sure that everything is perfect. The shops, the ski lifts is in the short distance. It is very convenient for using Seceda ski lift. Thanks Elfriede!

The apartment was very clean and tidy, kitchen is full of utensils, shower was sparkling clean. The owner met us on the arrival, explaining everything about the property, offered her help should well need anything. There is a lovely view overlooking the village. Greatly enjoyed the stay.

Delightful, immaculately kept, apartment with beautiful views. Had everything we needed to be comfortable for a 4 week stay. A short walk to the Seceda lift and village centre yet very quiet and peaceful. Elfriede is very kind, helpful and an endless source of information. She made us feel very welcome and went out her way to help us. Villa Grohmann became our home away from home. We love it so much we've already booked for next year

The apartment in Ortisei was basic but exactly what we needed for our stay in this beautiful Val Gardena down. It’s location was very convenient for us- we didn’t rent a car, so arrived by bus from Bolzano and walked about 10 minutes uphill to the Grohmann house. The apartment was very clean and comfortable- the host was easy to contact and very kind and helpful. We cooked dinner in a few nights since we visited during the low season and many restaurants were closed. There wasn’t an oven available but the cooktop was adequate. We liked the location and view- we would love to return in the summer months next time!

The apartment was lovely with beautiful views across the valley. The owner was most helpful and friendly. A lovely stay, just wished we could have stayed longer.

We had a pleasant time during our stay in Ortisei. The apartment was comfortable and the views very good. The centre of town was an easy walk. Our host was helpful. There was miscommunications between the Homeaway organisation and our host, she did receive our details from Homeaway until the day before we left, which was quite troubling and potentially left us with a double payment. This was NOT the fault of our host, but Homeaway.

We wanted quiet, central location, and beds long enough for my 6’4” husband. We had all three and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the whole valley. We were fortunate to have glorious weather. Our landlady was wonderful, helpful (great restaurant recommendations), and ready to help if we had any problems. Could not have asked for more.

Charming, comfortable, roomy apartment with an amazing view from a couch for morning coffee, it was too cold for us to enjoy the balcony. Comfortable beds! Short walking distance to everything (restaurants, shopping), a little bit challenging on the way back since it is uphill. Well-staffed kitchen, not really used (breakfast only) since town is filled with a lot of great restaurants. Free parking was a big bonus for us, we had a car. We preferred to start morning’s ski runs from Christina – 5min car run. Highly recommended.

Ortisei (St. Ulrich) is now our favourite village in the Dolomites. This apt. was ideal for the two of us -- very comfortable, quiet, a terrific view from the balcony, a short walk into the village centre and to the 3 lifts that take you to dozens of great hiking paths and wonderful mountain restaurants. Easy bus access to other villages and to Bolzano. Elfriede is charming and was hospitable and helpful in many ways. Highly recommended.

A nice quiet apartment with a comfortable bed. There is a small deck overlooking the mountains, though it was a little cool to use it. The building is a little hard to find, towards the end of the one way street on the right. The kitchen is nice, though we really didn't do any cooking, just used the fridge. There is plenty of hot water and the bathroom is roomy. It's a slight walk downhill to the town, where the shopping and dining is. It's easier to walk than drive into town. The owners were on site and able to give recommendations on where to eat. Overall, a great place to stay!
