Only 6 towels for 3 people for 7 days. Very dusty. The elevator very hot and slow. Very outdated unit, could use upgrades. The lounge chairs by pool and huts need to be replaced. Very limited pool capacity, only 15 people allowed according to signs. Parking lot very dirty and oily. Needs power washed. Cable and internet can only be srrviced during 5 dayd ( Mon.- Fri) during redort management business hours. Could be out all weekend like ours was!. The best part of the stay was the view of the gulf! That is not worth the price of rental though.

Beach was great. Condo nice. We all loved it. Needs TV's in other bedrooms. Especially if kids are with you. Beds slept good. Needs new strip around shower door. Would not stay on. Water came out onto floor. Also needs new door lock. Hard to get into it. Had a wonderful stay.

Hi. I stayed at the Villa Madeira, unit 404 and it was an amazing unit. I cannot express enough how wonderfully clean it was. Hotels can take a few lessons with regards to their cleaning practices. :) Everything was amazing, the admin staff were so great with any questions, and the beach was just what I needed for a relaxing and fun vacation trip.

Nice building in a good location, but the condo is in need of a update. Not that it's in bad shape or dirty (it's not), but it's just a bit dated, especially the bathrooms and the kitchen. The noise from the road was a bit of a surprise, but only in the two smaller bedrooms. The master was very quiet.

The property was exactly as described clean and beautifully decorated. It is situated close to John's Pass and has easy access to all main roads. The beach is like sugar and the heated pool is fantastic. This was our first trip and I searched the sites for months trying to find the right place. We had a wonderful time, even though the temps were unusually cool. We stayed 3 weeks and enjoyed the condo and the location.The condo was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the "on the beach" location is a huge plus! The condo itself had 2 good sized bedrooms and a 3rd that was tiny. We used the tiny room for luggage....The kitchen was small but very well equipped and usable. The common living space was enough for my husband and myself but might be tight if 4 adults and/or children were staying.....We did have a few rainy days during our 3 week stay in February and some uncommonly cold temps so our inside time was more than normally would have been expected. We liked that the balcony was screened. Ou condo was on the 4th floor and we did hear the people over us which was annoying at times. If we visit again we would opt for the top floor. All things considered, our stay was very nice and the owner of the unit and his realtor reps were extremely helpful when we initially made the reservations and we staying in the unit.

Great condo with even better view of the ocean and sunsets.Condo was very clean and well equipped with exception of the lack of beach chairs etc.Location is great for access to mainland and to Johns Pass as well as grocery stores etc.We stayed over the xmas holidays and the owner even had a christmas palm tree and christmas stockings in the unit which was great touch.Building overall was in great condition as was the pool area and front deck area with the tiki huts and lounge chairs.

We stayed in unit 404 for a week with 4 people comfortably staying in the condo. It was tastefully decorated & had pretty much everything we needed. One note but nothing major is bring extra toilet paper...we didn't get very many roles at all and had to buy some. The beach was gorgeous & we were there in early September. The ocean was 88 the whole week. We saw dolphins everyday feeding early in the morning. It was a great vacation & I would definitely stay here again.

All in we had a great vacation, the location of this condo was great, the beach was amazing, we could walk to St. John's pass along the beach or Main Street. The staff at Resort Rentals were excellent, they processed our enquiries fast and were extremely pleasant, especially Anne at the front desk. When we arrived on the Saturday afternoon we discovered the air conditioning wasn't working up to par, however when we connected with Resort Rentals on Monday they immediately sent someone out to fix it , The condo was a little tired, the kitchen faucet dripped, the stove elements didn't work properly, never managed to get a glass of cold water, and the water/ice maker didn't work, I think the appliances need replacing. Having a washer dryer was great, especially with two young children. The master bedroom was comfy. The two front bedrooms, beds comfy but the street noise was loud, needs some double glazing or windows replaced. The door buzzer at main entranceway didn't work, so if you had guests, or delivery (ie pizza) you had to wait downstairs. However even with all these small problems (once the air was fixed) we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return to this location. We loved the fact that the balcony was messed in, no bugs, and a big safety plus with our young grandchildren. The condo was very clean but again needed some updating. We enjoyed the pool, the view, the sun and the sand. Looking forward to another visit to Florida in the not too distant future.I would say we were overall satisfied with our stay at Villa Madeira,.

The condo was nice and in a great location. There were some inconveniences starting with the AC unit which was not working and took 24 hours to fix. Also the fridge ice making unit was not working. One element on the stove was not working and 2 others were not set properly which caused a slipping motion for pots and pans. And the TV remote was broken and to use it required 2 hands.

Condo location was wonderful & size comfortable for our 6 family members. Furniture & linens need updating along with lanai furniture. Kitchen equipment & supplies (mismatched plates & stemware, silverware, cheap cookware appear second hand) should be totally replaced. Cleaning staff should be more attentive to details such as dusty louvre doors, dirty A/C filter, hair in bath. A/C struggled & then quit on last day. Wooden sticks used as window security for bedrooms along walkway. With some modest attention to updating furniture, linens & kitchen supplies and more attention by housekeeping staff- this could be an amazing rental. Cost was very appealling. Overall, I would be hesitant to recommend to friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Madeira Beach.. Surrounding restaurants were delicious, beach was clean and beautiful, condo was perfect for my family and we even could have added a few friends for my kids! Rental was well equipped. Pool was perfect temperature, tanning area unique with shaded areas. The ONLY thing I would have asked for was a brochure or pamphlet on how to rent the sunbathing beach chairs.. There may have been something mentioned in the paperwork but a specific brochure would have been perfect. Rental agency organized and pleasant! Check in and check out simple and smooth! Thanks for a great week in the sun and out of the snow!

Villa Madeira itself was lovely and well maintained. The unit was clean, beds comfortable, but kitchen especially poorcondition. Sink was painted and had terrible stain in bottom. Dishwasher leaked. Only 2 elements on stove worked. Ceiling in master bath leaked.. I've left a list of deficient items with Resort Rentals, and vrbo did not accept my review. I wouldn't recommend this unit to anyone till the upgrades are made.

We stayed mid June. The view from the lanai was fantastic! The beach was nice and easy to walk out into the water and was never very crowded. We walked in the mornings up and down the beach looking for shells or checking out the other buildings and houses on the beach. We are in our 30's and could walk to John's Pass for some shopping or for just a change of pace. We decided to do the local cuisine and no big chain eateries! The Conch was a favorite along with Middle Grounds Grill, Dockside Daves, Crabby Bills at Indian Rocks. When all else fails ask a local...they are very friendly and never steered us wrong! We did rent a car at the airport and drove to a few places to eat at night and to just drive up to Clearwater and down to Fort De Soto. Fort De Soto also had a beautiful beach especially on the north end. We went on an excursion to Egmont Key and that was okay too..wished our tour was longer to enjoy the whole island.Master bed was comfy, livingroom furniture was comfortable but we really didn't spend much time inside. I enjoyed having washer and dryer in unit so we didn't bring home a suitcase of dirty clothes! It was nice to have the beach chairs available on the porch to take down to the beach. An umbrella would have been nice to have too. There were options of renting umbrella/chairs on beach. The guy comes around and checks them through the day. The resort management company had lots of brochures and handouts when we checked in and were very friendly! Had a great week and already wanting to save for another trip!

We had a great stay at Villa Madeira #404 in Madeira Beach! The beach is beautiful and not crowded. The location is in a quieter area, which we prefer, with a grocery nearby and many restaurants within driving distance. This unit was sold recently and the new owner had just replaced the mattress and furniture in the master bedroom and was planning other improvements and furniture updates. The kitchen was well stocked and had new dishes. The entire complex was well maintained daily and will be getting new exterior paint soon. We enjoyed eating at Sloppy Joe's in Treasure Island and Sea Hags in St. Pete Beach. Ice cream at the Candy Kitchen across the street was good, but Super Scoops in Treasure Island was even better! We also really enjoyed Gators Parasailing and Dolphin Quest at John's Pass, and the Shell Key boat shuttle from Pass-a-Grille. I would definitely recommend this property in Madeira Beach!

We got very little sleep, due to the noise from the other literally sounded like people were moving furniture above our heads throughout the night.The pool seemed to be clean, but it was very small. The limit was 15 people in the pool; however,there were probably near 100 guests staying at the condo. No matter how early in the morning, or late in the evening we tried to use the pool, the area was completely full. The area around the pool and outside the condo were not very pretty. There seemed to be very little effort put into landscaping.Clearwater,Reddington,Indian Shores, and St. Pete Beach seemed like much nicer areas than Madeira.
