As we drove up the long driveway to this house we quickly felt it was a home for the next few days we stayed there. The space was inviting, comfortable, clean and the decor was beautiful. Our daughter absolutely loved celebrating her 13th birthday at this beautiful home. It was instant relaxation as the surroundings are beautiful and quiet. Gretchen was a lovely host who was very easy to communicate with and provided such helpful information for us during our stay. A few weeks later and we are still talking about our trip to Rhinebeck because the area is gorgeous, but mostly because we were so comfortable and happy in this house.

We enjoyed our stay. The layout was perfect for our family gathering. We have adult children with spouses and it was great having the 3 bathrooms! The beds are very comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. We really enjoyed the fire pit in the lovely yard full of trees with great fall color. This peaceful home in Rhinebeck was just what we needed! I would stay again !

This is a very nice home in a very quiet area but still close to town (10 min drive). We loved everything except the indoor hot tub, which died on us on the 2nd night.

The house is generous and as described in the listing. Over three weeks we had friends as weekend guests and then a week with one married daughter and her family including a three-year-old.
The space was comfortable and everyone enjoyed themselves. The property is quiet and very natural (with many trees and crickets). The location has easy access to Rhinebeck which is a delightful village and has many good restaurants. We hope to come back.

Perfect
We stayed in this home for our son's wedding in Rhinebeck. Layout of home was better than depicted for multi-generations. Plenty of space, private bathrooms, good access to town. Wish we had more time to explore the area but out most of the time with wedding activities.

Excellent Mini Family Vacay
House was exactly like the pictures. Clean, spacious and private. There was plenty of room for all 4 couples. The deck and fire pit were utilized daily. The house was pet friendly with ample space for my dog to play outside. Also, there were dog toys in the chest in the dining room (nice touch). Gretchen was easy to reach and able to answer any questions/comments I had. During our visit the house was very well stocked with every essential one could need for their stay....we brought a lot but there is also a grocery store close by...just in case. My only suggestion is if you plan to be outdoors and tend to attract mosquitos - bring bug spray (was also stocked in the pantry)....it is a necessity for a home in a wooded area. I would rent this house again...it was lovely.

Lovely Family Getaway
My family group of 7 had a great time enjoying all parts of the house, both inside and outside. Board games, cooking, firepit, hot tub, and more. The property is perfectly secluded while just being an 8 minute ride to town.

Thanksgiving With Family
This is a beautiful, well-appointed home in the trees just a short drive from Rhinebeck. The kitchen is wonderful, with lots of granite counter space that made cooking our Thanksgiving dinner for 8 a breeze. The layout of the four bedrooms gives everyone plenty of private space. The next time we have Thanksgiving in NY, we will reach out to Gretchen in a heartbeat.

It was an excellent week with friends and family. We enjoyed the comfortable house in its private setting. The kitchen had most things we needed for gourmet meals, the beds were comfortable and the master suite was supper. The house location is removed but close to town, hiking and historic sites.

Wooded Area Close to Rhinebeck
If you love a wooded, rural feel (with amenities like a hot tub) but also prefer to be close to the lovely town of Rhinebeck, this is the perfect fit.
The house is very spacious with two ensuite master bedrooms, a large kitchen/family room, a living room with a TV and a welcoming dining room.
We love staying here (this is our second time) and plan an annual family vacation at this wonderful home.

We stayed at the property for a wedding taking place in Germantown NY, with other wedding festivities taking place in Rhinebeck. The house is the perfect location to both towns. The house is excellent with plenty of room for a big family. Conveniently located just miles from downtown Rhinebeck and shops and restaurants. Easy to find and great outdoor seating as well. Quiet and relaxing
The house was super clean and very big! We loved the hot tub and fire place. The kitchen was well equipped for our family and we enjoyed our dinner at the big dining table. Lovely sunset views from the master bedroom on the 1st floor. The owner sent us all the info we needed ahead of time, it was perfect. Close to a lot of fun places too. We had a great time and recommend this rental.

The location of the house, just outside of Rhinebeck, was excellent. The town has many choice for dining/takeout and the easy to reach hiking areas were right level for everyone. The house was the nicest that we have rented and nothing more could be done to improve it.

The house was perfect. We’ve rented many houses in the past few years and this has got to be the best one yet. Clean, spacious, minutes from town. Wish we could’ve stayed the whole week. We will definitely be repeat customers. Gretchen was very responsive answering all our questions prior to our stay. Thank you for making my sons 9th birthday truly memorable. It is a great house to getaway and not really have to leave! The hot tub inside is great during the winter, the fireplace and the chairs is so relaxing. The bedrooms are comfortable and relaxing. Just a perfect house for a large family. Very clean. Second time here and enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

Luxury is right!
I simply can't say enough good things about this property or it's host. The house is perfectly laid out, well stocked with everything you could need for a week or weekend away. The beds are comfortable, the furnishings luxurious and comfy. Plenty of room for 8 grown adults to spread out, but honestly, we spent most of our time congregating in the kitchen/great room - even if it meant sitting on stools and the floor by the fireplace! The hot tub was immaculately maintained and the fire pit was a joy for the cold weather. Instructions and communications were clear and quick. We're already booked to come back! Truly great location.
