Beaucoup de charme pour cette très ancienne bâtisse de Bergerac à 2 pas de la Dordogne. La maison est très bien équipée. La déco type "campagne française" est très réussie. Les escaliers un peu raides aident à maintenir la forme. Et les ventilos dans les chambres à supporter les chaleurs... surtout au dernier étage. Cuisine très bien équipée. Un grand salon reposant. Les restaurants, bars et visites sont en bas de la maison. La voiture peut être laissée à 5 min. à pieds à un parking gratuit. Arrivée et départ via une boîte à clés installée dehors. Marion a été réactive quand nécessaire. Séjour très agréable.

An exquisitely renovated house which is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We felt privileged to be living in such a beautifully restored mediaeval house. Incredibly convenient for the old town, waterfront and new Tourist Information( wine tasting!) Many restaurants around us, but nevertheless very quiet.

I’m so glad we chose to stay on this property - it’s a lovely old home in the heart of old Bergerac. We loved roaming the old streets, shopping, dining, and just sitting in the cafes. And it’s a short walk to the beautiful Dordogne River. Just be ready to climb some tricky stairs in this house - the rooms are on 4 different floors!

Myself, my husband and two children (10&9) have just come back from our weeks stay at this property and wow what a fantastic time we had. Walking up to the property the buildings around it are amazing, then we realised which one was ours and we were amazed it is so beautiful. Once inside we were still amazed, the property is done out lovely and still has lots of old features. We felt at home straight away, the kitchen was very well equipped as well and all of the beds very comfortable. The house is in a fantastic location not far from the centre and the quay. The square the house is in has got a lovely vibe and we dined here quite a few times in a couple of the restaurants, as well as enjoyed a lovely picnic on the steps of the quay over looking the dordogne, which was just a lovely experience. Marion was excellent at the communication up to the day and throughout our stay, which was great. I can honestly say this is probably the best property we have stayed in and we will definitely be going back.

Great property, fantastic location. 5 good restaurants literally on the doorstep. Short walk to the quayside. The stairs were "challenging" but we knew that when we booked.

We loved this property, it was located in an ideal position in the old town of Bergerac, where you could simply step out the door and find numerous great restaurants and cafes. We hired a car and toured the Dordogne region which is simply stunning. Returning to the house each day for a rest after walking many miles was a joy, the house being very comfortable and well laid out, even the steep stairs kept us fit! Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful old house.

What a treat to stay in this historic property on the corner of two little squares and steps away from all the restaurants,and cafes, and the river. The house is stylishly decorated and furnished with great care. Everything you may need is here. The bathrooms are fabulous and the beds are comfortable. We felt very spoilt. Thank you for having us.

From the moment we opened the front door we were blown away by the prettiness and the lovely ambience of the house. Despite all the charms of Bergerac's old town it was sometimes difficult to tear ourselves away from the beautiful first floor living room. Thank you Marion for a lovely stay.

Bergerac is a wonderful French town. It has not been "Disneyfied" like some of the more well known towns of the Dordogne Valley. The townspeople were very friendly and helpful. Great wine grown locally. Marion's home has been wonderfully restored and decorated and has all the amenities one could ask for. We loved being so close to the town and the river. A fabulous place to stay.

My husband and I were travelling with another couple to the Bergerac area. We were delighted to find a beautiful, comfortable home away from home for the 4 of us. It is obvious that the owners love their home and furnish it with lovely items. We have stayed at numerous vacation rentals in Europe, the United States and Canada. I can say without a doubt that this house was furnished with everything we could have ever needed. No other rental we have used could come close to this!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Property has been refurbished to a very high standard and is very well equipped. Great location in the heart of medieval Bergerac with a number of very good restaurants within a short walk. The property is on four floors with steep staircases so wouldn’t suit everyone but didn’t bother us in the slightest.

We were given a very warm welcome from both Graham and Marion. They even collected us from the train station which was totally unexpected,which was much appreciated. They also gave us a lot of information about local restaurants which we found useful. The property is set in the heart of the old town and very close to all local amenities. Even though the house is Medieval in style it has been sympathetically restored and we found it to be both warm and comfortable.There is a small square twenty yards from the house with three restaurants on the edge. In the centre of the square is a large tree which is lit up of a nighttime. The effect is stunning. As for Bergerac it is a beautiful town with some fabulous restaurants and I would highly recommend a visit and staying in this house.

We arrived to a warm welcome from Marion to an immaculate well kept house. Anybody who knows me, knows I am very FUSSY! We had everything we could ever need in the house. I can't say anymore except I would certainly recommend. The house is on 4 floors, surprisingly roomy, comfortable, bright and airy. This is an ideal location, although we hired a car to visit friends further afield, there is no need to have any transport as Bergerac airport very close and can be reached by taxi at a reasonable price. Everything is on your doorstep, there is more than enough to occupy adults of all ages and children in Bergerac town, many nice local walks and a lovely Quay to sit and relax.
