The area was perfect right in front of the sea. The staff was hospitable. Place was so quite and peaceful.

The TV needs updating. Maybe change to a TV that has preloaded apps on it.

Carlton was an excellent host, friendly, attentive. His son, Kirk also. When there was a problem the owner Beverly tried to instantly resolve it and if it could not be resolved, tried to meet us half way.

The TV did not work at all. The lack of utensils. E,xcept for kettle, coffee cups and teas, there were no plates, spoons and forks. Also the very bad roads getting to and from there (no fault of theirs).

the location is gorgeous. great beach, sunrises, sunsets, also very lush and green surroundings. you’re well positioned to visit Reach Falls. It’s a small local community which feels very authentic. Breakfasts were a work of art, were hearty, and were sourced mostly from the garden. free will donation rather than charge. bed was comfortable and room secure. staff very friendly and pleasant.

it’s probably my own fault for not realizing this would be the case, but it cost me 70 U.S. dollars to get a taxi to the location from the Port Antonio Knutford Express station. longer distance than I supposed, and bad roads everyone complains about, although I hear these will be improved soon. although the bathroom was clean and nice looking, there was very low water pressure in the shower, and although a selection of teas was offered, there was only instant decaf coffee, requiring one to hike to find real coffee in the morning. although I’m detailing some of the shortcomings, on balance, the location, the friendliness, and the breakfast make up for most of them, so it’s more than worth your while to stay there, if you don’t mind the distance, or can find a cheaper way of getting there.

The attention of Berry was spectacular, really she is very kind and always asking if we need something. The breakfas was awesome. The place is a big house at Longbay beach about 15 minutes from Port Antonio, 5 minutes to Boston Beach, 10 minutes to Frenchman Cove (everything by car). The place is very near to the main road, hence you can walk 1 minute and you can get a taxi. The place very clean and very quiet. No A/C but is not necessary with the fan it is enough. The bathroom is shared (by 2 rooms), the space in the batroom is ok, always clean, the ammenities at the bathroom are ok (shampoo, conditioner, paper tissue, hand soap, hand paper towel, body shower, The building is 3 levels, our room was on 1st level and has microwave, mimibar, kettle, and a wardrobe, the equipment is new. Berry show us the terrace, and the view is fantastic, they are working on to make many improvements. The relation between the quality and the price is very good.
