Unit was as advertised. A couple glitches but nothing that would stop us from coming back. Patio is awesome ! Well furnished and huge ! Already booked next year weeks.

Our stay at The Rose was wonderful. The property is as pictured and described. The positives include: communication with owner was timely and Denise was responsive to issues as they came up. The air conditioning stopped working while we were there, but it was taken care of within a couple days. We needed extra towels and Denise had the housekeeping staff drop some off. As others have mentioned, there is no closet in the master bedroom, which was a minor issue. I also think some of the pillows are due for replacement. The beach is gorgeous and just out the door. The patio absolutely made the vacation for us. You have a spectacular view with comfortable seating and dining. Writers are correct in saying you cannot use the propane fireplace ; however, we placed 5-6 electric candles from the Dollar Store on the “fire” table and the effect was beautiful. We had a wonderful 2 week visit and even the colder and windy days couldn’t take away from the view. Kitchen is pretty well stocked with utensils, pans and dishes. The unit was nice and clean which we appreciated! There is an indoor fire place but not sure if it’s able to be used, I didn’t ask but it would be good to know for the next time we visit if we have some chillier days. Maybe it’s electric or gas. The Patio is huge!! Once again weather didn’t cooperate to use it much but next time! Denise was in touch and very sweet. We would recommend.

Loved having Xmas on the beach! Loved the patio. Great location! Only negative was neighbors above sending down ashes and candy onto the porch. Not a big deal. Nice coffee shop across the street! Someone set of super fireworks on New Year's Eve! We had fun,

We are very familiar with this area. The physical location of the unit is wonderful - close to great restaurants, the PIE airport, things to do, etc. Unfortunately, the pictures shown in the listing are dated and do not accurately reflect the current condition of the unit. It is in need of a thorough cleaning, minor repairs and replacement of broken/worn items. In addition, linens and towels need to be replaced. Items that are not disclosed in the listing: there is no closet in the master bedroom; while the deck/patio is huge and a great view, there is literally no privacy from other residents; the firepit shown cannot be used (we bought a propane tank and were informed by an unidentified resident that this was illegal). The listed "new sanitizing process" is not being followed. Money needs to be put into the property to bring it back up the "top notch elegant property" it may have once been.

This was our second year at The Rose and we had a marvelous two weeks. The condo is lovely, well kept and spacious and the huge patio overlooking the Gulf is an added bonus. The grounds and pool are well maintained and shopping and restaurants are close by. The gorgeous beach and Gulf waters gave us hours of swimming and fun in the sun. We are already checking our calendar for a return visit next summer. Thanks Denise🏖

Warning--take pictures of ANYTHING that is even slightly out of place in the house, as owners have blamed us for so much that we have not done. I’m providing the list below so you can note for yourselves if you choose to stay here: Here are all issues upon arrival A painting above the fireplace has cracked glass. A doorhandle to go outside in the master bed was screwed off. The towel holder in the bathroom broke the very first time my husband pulled the towel off of it. There was melted wax on the wood next to the TV. Some of the decorative balls on the coffee table have become unwound. The sink would not drain in the guest bathroom. We did contact the owner about this but they still tried to charge us for it. The rug in the living room was disgusting. Every pillow had large yellow drool stains all over it. Sheets in the master were stained. The air filter was absolutely grime-filled. I had to sweep up about 15 or so tiny dead bugs on the right hand side of the fireplace. The cleaner broke the kitchen sink drain and we were blamed. It was working when we left. Here is all of what we had to purchase on our own during our stay Air filters Plumbing solution for the sink that would not drain New pillows for all beds as the ones int he house were vomit-inducing. Sheets for the master A new broom because the ones that were there were useless with all of the sand. Here is what we did mess up (things happen, right?): My daughter’s pink shirt bled into the bath towels-- we replaced the two that we thought were bad-- we have been charged to replace 8. I broke a Mikasa wave bowl-- I bought a replacement on my own and had it shipped to the condo. No one would have even noticed it was gone, but we’re decent people and we respect the places we visit. I've NEVER had an issue with anywhere we've been. We also had the wrong checkout date in our head (silly us, I know), but we were out within the hour once we realized our mistake. The cleaner was able to start cleaning while we moved out, and she was really flexible and said she had plenty of time to clean multiple times. There was also Red Tide during our stay, which meant dead fish all up and down the beach, all of us were coughing terribly, and my husband, we found out, is allergic to the toxin. I guess we were pretty naive in shrugging our shoulders and handling things ourselves or considering things wear and tare of a rental property. It came back to bite us at the cost of $235. Unbelievable.

We stayed at Denise and Bruce’s condo for three weeks and it was all we hoped for and more! The three bedroom unit is spacious, with enough room to both work and play. The best feature is the incredible, huge patio that overlooks the beach (the unit is practically on the beach) and allows for amazing sunset viewing - it became our daily ritual to hang out there. There’s a great coffee shop right across the street, with several restaurants close by. There are also many grocery stores within a couple miles. When we weren’t walking on the beach, we also took advantage of the convenient local bus that traverses up and down Gulf Boulevard between the different beach communities. Denise was a pleasure to work with and so accommodating. We appreciated her having beach towels and chairs for our use and she was easily accessible to answer any of our questions. The Indian Shores community is very nice and an easy drive to St. Petersburg (we went there a couple of times and it’s great) and Clearwater. Overall, this was a fantastic getaway and we look forward to returning again!

The location is absolutely beautiful and is right on the beach! We felt at home right away. It had everything for a comfortable 2 week stay. Loved spending time on the patio too. Will definitely go back again! The host was very helpful in answering questions.

An excellent location and building. The unit is on the end of the building which makes it the last front door, so no one is walking by. The veranda furniture cushions in the photo were not available to renters, so the veranda wasn’t as comfy a place to hang out as it could have been. There are four floors above it with corresponding balconies and a low half wall between the neighbors veranda, but at least in 2020 it was very quiet end of November early December.

Very relaxing time with family. I rented this unit for the deck and it was worth it! We had young kids with us, 4 and 6 years old. The easy access to the beach and pool is always appreciated. We were also able to watch the 14 year old "skim" on the beach from the deck, so we didn't need to be at the beach with him. This unit makes for a very easy stay with family. I would come again.

Perfect place for our family to stay. Close to everything, yet very peaceful and quiet. The view is beautiful and the pool and ocean are very relaxing.

Communication was very unprofessional, cost us 1 day of our holiday, I expect to be receiving compensation for out of pocket expenses. 1 Having to arrange hotel accommodation at short notice. 2 Food we had bought in anticipation of getting entry to condo. 3 Long distance telephone calls Regarding unit, we did not receive all information for five days, fortunately it was not really all that relevant, Condo interior could do with much needed house keeping, exterior furniture could do with an upgrade. Out door grill(which we were told not to use) was filthy anyway. Having used VRBO many times over the last few years, we were extremely disappointed and expected much better.

Our two adult children and spouses and we loved our second stay as much as our first. Spacious patio, beautiful sunsets, white sandy beach right at our door, breathtaking view of the Gulf, comfortable and lovely condo. Denise, the owner, is great to work with. The best restaurants and entertainment very close by. Indian Shores is the best part of the "strip" between St. Petersburg Beach and Clearwater Beach - more residential and a lot less traffic. Can't recommend this property more highly.

We had a wonderful time at your condo. The sunsets were breathtaking, the beachfront location is fantastic and the accommodations were top-notch. Loved our stay in this beautiful spacious gulf front condo. The lanai was huge and we spent each evening watching the sunset. We appreciated having the electric grill so we didn't have to go out each night during our two week stay. Location is convenient. Denise is quick to respond to emails or texts. Would definitely recommend to others.

This condo is absolutely wonderful! We had SO much room, plenty of everything we needed and a BREATHTAKING view of the Gulf of Mexico! The patio is enormous ! We had a wonderful time and will definately be back!!

I was fortunate enough to be invited to stay at this condo with several friends from the North East Ohio area. The views are spectacular. The back patio is extremely large and is great for partying or sun bathing. The condo is first class. Bedrooms have ample space with plenty of dresser space, and the living area boasts a gourmet kitchen with plenty of seating. The furniture is very comfortable and faces the gulf view. It's a great location, especially if you are fond of the Salt Rock Café, which is across the street. Best food in Indian Shores. Thanks Denise for a wonderful week.

This condo really makes you feel like you are in paradise!!! The rooms are beautiful and the furnishings are all upscale. Denise has made sure that you have everything available that you need for a wonderful vacation. The patio is beyond belief. We sat and watched the sun set into the gulf every night. If you truly want to feel like you are in a tropical oasis then this is the place to go to!!! FANTASTIC!!!!

The DeVore's condo is located perfectly between Clearwater and St. Petersburg, providing you access to everything the area has to offer. And the town of Indian Shores did not disappoint, with it's hometown feel and magnificent dining, we definitely had the best of both worlds. Their condo offered us plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids and they accommodated us perfectly with a pack-n-play, baby bath and booster chair. My kids loved the large outdoor patio and we felt very safe letting them run around on the private beach below. The kitchen was well-appointed with lots of cookware options and we loved having a washer/dryer on-site. The building was very clean and tended to daily, as was the beach, and the year-round residents were extremely inviting and personable. We also loved having plenty of parking for our two cars, which is located underneath the building.

Most beautiful place we have ever stayed! We came not knowing what to expect so we brought everything.. Denise had it all there and ready. Condo very clean, overlooking the ocean you cannot beat the view either from your patio, bedroom or living room. Kitchen is beautiful with many amenities you need. Lots of things for the kids as well, from boogie boards to sand toys. Loved having our own grill to cook on every evening for dinner while never missing a view of the beautiful waters. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a bit of Heaven during your stay.

The accommodations in this unit were awesome. Beyond our expectations. The unit was spacious and clean. The patio was amazing. We spent most of our time on the patio watching the sunsets and listening to the ocean sounds. We all enjoyed our vacation. Great R&R after the holidays. As beautiful as the pictures posted above are, they do not do this place justice! The back porch is simply amazing with breathtaking views of the sunset that my family and I enjoyed night after night. The DeVore family, being the wonderful friends they are, kindly opened the doors of both of their rental properties to our family over the Thanksgiving break. The accommodations were perfect and provided quick and easy access to the beach and pool. Had a wonderful time in Indian Shores with my wife, mother (age 88), and sister. Enjoyed our morning coffee/muffin from directly across the street, and our breath taking gulf sunsets to end each day. The condo was wonderful in all ways! We especially loved the wonderful patio for some meals and views. Denise assisted us with all questions and arrangements with such courtesy.

Such a beautiful condo! The beach is right there! Our stay was just wonderful! Slept well too; very comfy beds. Loved the huge patio, too.

My family of 8 stayed in this beautiful condo 2 weeks in June. Other than lacking a few kitchen items. Our stay was top notch. I highly recomend this unit. You will not be disappointed. Denise was wonderful to work with.
