Leuk zitje buiten.

Well located. Surrounded by great bars and restaurants. Everything within walking distance in a few minutes.
We only had a small communication problem with the booking of our island hopping tour, which stressed us out in the morning. We had asked several times if the shared tour with only 3-4 stops was possible and it was confirmed to us several times that the tour we booked would only have 3-4 stops. We then booked a private tour on the beach because the shared tour had six stops. It cost us time and nerves, I think that was a one-off thing, but I wanted to mention it.

I appreciate the convenient location and the staff's friendliness. The room was well-equipped with essentials like air conditioning and both warm and cold water options.
The room was quite cramped for two people. Although the hotel offered a room change, we opted to switch hotels in search of one with a pool.

The bathroom comodities were ok. The AC worked fine.
Well this was the worst experience we had in the Philippines. The room had a lot of ants, some mosquitoes and we even killed a cockroach inside the room.
We could still forgive this, given that Valerie's space is a "little forest", however, knowing this, the room should be cleaned daily. It was never cleaned, which is unacceptable for one of the most expensive accommodations in Port Barton.
Furthermore, there is no privacy between the bedroom and the bathroom as there is no division. The bed is not confortable and you don't fit if you are more than 1.8m tall.
The worst part is the attention given to the customer in Valerie's space, in particular, Valerie herself, the owner of the space. First she was rude when we asked her what was the best price for the shuttle to Puerto Princesa. Secondly, we were promised that there would be someone to prepare breakfast at 6am, we waited until 6.45am, no one showed up. Finally, more serious, we asked a massage shop to come to the accommodation to give us a massage and the masseuses said that Valerie charged a fee. Valerie wanted to charge a 40% fee!!!
With so much on offer and such friendly people in the Philippines, in particular in Port Barton, I don't consider this hotel to be even an option.

Small boutique villa type accommodation - modern clean and comfortable. Very friendly helpful staff and owner who can book boat tours around Port Barton and onward bus tickets. Scooter/motorbike available for hire. Laundry able to be done onsite for very small cost. Breakfast available with good selection. Good location- 5min walk to beach and restaurants.

Nice room & shower with hot water
Breakfast was very plain and not satisfactory, beds were fairly small

The villa was set in a nice peaceful garden, just 5 mins walk out of town. It was nice as it was near where locals live and on the weekend lots of children and families were out and about.
The room is very small and has a strange musty smell about it. The toilet doesn't have a door which is pretty odd. There is no kettle in the room, but the hosts will boil you some water for a coffee or tea if asked.

Valerie's place is a gem. Everything about it exceeded expectations. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The garden is a beautiful thing to wake up to each morning. The staff are always on hand for fresh water and anything else you need. Valerie is kind and funny, and her dogs are very friendly too. Thanks for such a great stay. Highly recommended to anyone.
The only criticism is the Wifi signal is weak - but I think the owner is aware of this and hopefully intends to fix it somehow.

Not much to be honest. Just to mention something, the motorbike we rented was extremely new.
The size of the room couldn't be smaller. It just fits the bed and by little. What about a bathroom in the room without a door? Smart, right? Very romantic for a couple, too. We also lost power in our room twice in three days, while it was okay in the rest of the hotel. Food? No, thanks. In general, disappointing and definitely not worth 3k.

We had a lovely stay. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help, they organised an island hopping tour and transfer to Puerto Princessa. We had to amend the booking at short notice which they accommodated. Location is good, only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The place is quiet at night so sleeping wasn’t a problem. The place very peaceful could have easily stayed longer. Would definitely recommend to others to stay here.

The rooms have a great terrace, it was a perfect place for reading or eating a mango.
The room is small but very cute, clean and comfortable. With good views to a beatiful garden.
The host and service were very kind and helpful.
The location is also perfect: 3 minutes walkimg to the center and the beach, and at the same time quiet.
We would repeat.

Beautiful Qi....it is a thing not a person
The wifi was not working but even cellular data was weak perhaps due to distance to cell tower...seems to be a common problem around town but it did not affect the overall enjoyment of our stay...would not stay anywhere else and look forward to our next visit

The property is just a 10 min walk from the bus terminal or 50 peso trike which is handy! 5 min walk to the main beach. Location is great. Quirky and modern but kept its authenticity. Breakfast was good! Rooms were clean and showers hot - BEST SHOWER IN PHILIPPINES!! Staff friendly and helpful - very laid back and happy to make your stay easy as possible.
A kettle in the room would of been handy, no toilet door which was strange but no problem for those who are comfortable with each other!
