Convenient location. 2 subway stations very close. Helpful staff. Comfortable beds.

Constant train noise and vibration was unexpected.

Riko was very accommodating and communicative during our stay. They provided us with towels, bathroom items, and area guide.

The trash bins were kind of small, but it was usable during our stay and instructions were helpful for disposing certain types of trash.

We are within walking distance of a JR line, therefore if you bought a JR pass it will be useful. Walk a little further down and you will be spoilt for choices. Was walking around and found Korean food nearby as well.

During our stay the alarm had a beeping sound. I pressed the blinking button to resolve the issue quickly, however, the person I spoke to said they will have it fixed after my stay. One of the room is facing the train track, so you will be awaken by it if you are a light sleeper. Lastly, the rooms are upstairs, you will have to carry your luggage up, otherwise, you will have to leave it at the lower floor and bring up the necessities when required.

walking distance to Shinjuku JR station. House facilities are adequate for family use.

The beds are too small and not comfortable. Mattress is smaller than the bed frame.

Riko is a fantastic host and the house is in such a great location. Was a really good & clean place to stay in tokyo for our group of 9.

Environment is very good, convenience to different locations.

Blankets seems not enough for sleeping.

Great apartment with 3 good bedrooms for a family. Very comfy beds. Good kitchen and living area. Well lit and heated. Reasonable walking distance to Shinjuku.

There was no response to any requests I sent via booking.com. There was no dishwasher detergent and we didn’t want to get the incorrect stuff, so ended up hand-washing all the dishes etc. There were no English instructions on using the dishwasher or the rice cooker. Beside the train tracks therefore lots of train noise. Didn’t worry us unduly, but we had double glazed windows closed. Maybe a problem when warmer? There is an iPad in the room people have used to upload their passport photos. This still has everyone’s private information for anyone to see. The photos should be deleted for privacy reasons.
