Room was big and very comfortable for a family of 4. The location was superb: just few minutes walking from Shinjuku station (perfect for visiting the whole town and for city trips) and few minutes walking from the Golden Gai for the amazing night life and great street food!
The laundry service was not available and we had to use the laundry machines in the hotel, The washing machines were fine, but the dryers were extremely slow and needed to use them over and over again to get our clothes dry. This is just a minor thing, but worth mentioning since a lot of travelers, most likely, will use them

The room was larger than most in Tokyo. It was a comfortable stay for a family of 4. Its located close to Chuo Dori Street which had a lot of food options
The location was close to the heart of Shinjuku but its still a bit of a walk.

washing machine was not in the room, but this wasnt a big issue. we went to the 2nd floor to do laundry.

Fuss-free check-in and check-out. Staff are friendly and speak English fluently. Had our luggages stored prior to check-in and upon check-out. Clean and spacious room, suitable for 3 to 4 pax. The room met our needs e.g., slippers, dining table, kitchenette, bath and personal amenities. Was able to loan out iron and ironing board. A short walk using the underpass next to the 7-11 to Shinjuku station. Overall, am pleased with the stay and experience!
The middle area for all 4 single beds were sunken, nevertheless, this didn't affect our sleep.

The location is unbeatable — very close to Shinjuku station. The hotel is located on the west side of the station, which is quiet at night.
The room size was pretty generous, which is a rare find in Tokyo. It's comfortable for longer stays.
The bath and shower were very clean. I appreciated that the toilet was not in the bathroom, but in its own separate room.
The amenities provided for the guests were a nice touch. I also liked the availability of rental items, like bathroom scales and an ironing board.

Modern room with good facilities. Staff are very helpful. Great for a family or small group. Good options for eating nearby. We went to Udon Shin which is a 5 minute walk and there is also a surprisingly great Indian across the road called Potohar where you can eat in or do take away. Free observatory at metropolitan government building is less than 10 minutes walk. Many other Shinjuku attractions are 15 minute walk.
We had a room for six and just one toilet. Shinjuku is a fantastic, very busy location. However the train station is enormous and just working out how to navigate the train station is a small challenge particularly with renovations going on. So realistically the hotel is a 15 minute walk to the train station.

You can hear footsteps from upstairs and outside corridor. Sound proofing is poor. They dont clean your room everyday which is a poor excuse. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are diluted and of poor quality. Stay here only if you need to be in the same room as your family. Location is poor compared to other parts of shinjuku where there are a lot more choices for food.

We loved Mimaru. I cannot praise the staff enough, they were so helpful and spoke very good English. They organised bag transfer to Hakuba for us and recommend great coffee places and even which entrance to go into Shinjuku station for our transfer to Hakuba. Location is good, close to handimarts, Shinjuku Station and heaps of food and entertainment for kids. It was quiet, comfortable and really super clean. Good size (for Japan), for our family of 3 with 3 large suitcases and snowboard bags.

Hotel is in a fantastic location just outside the main tourist areas but still plenty close enough to walk to everything. Staff were great and hotel had everything we needed.

Its only good for families who want to be in the same room.
Building has poor noise reduction - we can hear footsteps from upstairs and same level outside from the corridor. Inconvenient part of Shinjuku where there are less eatery choices. They also don’t clean your room everyday which is a poor excuse.

The front desk staff were caring and very helpful.

Having a dining table and chairs is something we take for granted and we didn’t always get on our round world trip. It waa so nice to have this and a kitchenette at Mimaru. Having on-site laundry facilities was also very helpful. Will definitely stay again and can highly recommend.

A bit tiring to walk back after a long day. But it’s considered quite convenient. Easy to walk from Shinjuku station. All the way straight. Do not use the underground tunnel, much much longer than walking above ground.

Cleaning needs to be better… found a baby’s bib from previous guest under the cushion of the sofa.

Very spacious room with comfortable beddings which can accommodate 4 people. Good lighting and roomy bathroom. They provide a well-equipped small pantry and a microwave which is excellent for long stay. Close to subway, Airport bus stop, Lawson & Family Mart.

The location is not accessible and need to walk at least 10-15 mins from main station

Very spacious for a Japanese hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were well soundproofed. We liked that the toilet was separate from the bathroom. The water pressure was good and water temperature adjustable. We stayed for 8 days and it felt like a second home.
Would be nice if the rooms were cleaned every consecutive day. Proximity to train station might be abit far for some people.
