Fabulous Beach Home in Rio
Esta fabulosa casa de playa a solo 3 cuadras de la playa tiene 4 habitaciones con una sala de estar y acomodará a 10 personas. Toda la casa es energéticamente eficiente con paneles solares que alimentan el hogar. En su interior encontrará características interesantes como una ducha totalmente personalizada con controles de temperatura e incluso un estéreo incorporado. Hay una gran chimenea de leña justo al lado de la cocina con sofás de cuero de felpa de tamaño completo. Hermosos pisos de madera en cada habitación de esta casa. Uno de los baños incluso ofrece una elegante bañera de tamaño completo con patas. ¡No pierdas la oportunidad de quedarte en esta casa!

Overall, it was near perfect. Location was great, and having four bedrooms was just what we needed. There was an unexpected bonus room with a love seat, small tv and blu-ray player. Just about everything was great.Not perfect aspects: Our Mini-Van BARELY fit in the right-hand parking spot. I don't think any normal sized car could fit in the other spot. Maybe a mini cooper or smart car? Also, the dishwasher didn't get the dishes clean, so we had to hand wash our dishes. Those were the only two drawbacks, otherwise, it was a perfect rental at a reasonable price.

Overall good - the trundle bed was impossible to sleep on though. That bed needs to be replaced with a queen bed even though the room is small.

To be very honest, I was soooo disappointed in the house itself. I was embarrassed that I rented the place. My family was wonderful about it only because the location was good. But the home was unkept, felt dirty and not maintained. The pictures on the website are deceiving. The kitchen light had lightbulbs missing and only one light bulb worked. The other lightbulbs were burnt out. Spider webs were hanging from the light over the dining room. There was a spiderweb in the oven.... At first the hot water in the upstairs bathroom didn't work. I had turn it on under the sink. Should be a sign for future renters. A chair in the livingroom was torn, had a hole in it. The shades in the living area don't roll up, so you feel like you are in a hole all the time. When we walked in, I felt like I needed to clean it. There was not a broom to be found in the house. Which is strange to me, because it is obvious renters are going to the beach and going to bring in sand. There was a vacuum, but who wants to bring the vacuum out all the time. I had a neighbor reach to me for the information of the house, I told her I can't recommend it to her. I don't know that I will ever rent from Bailey Properties again if this is how there rentals are.

This property has an amazing shower and the beds are super comfy. The sheets were fresh and crisp. It was secure and safe and just the right distance from the beach.
It was a little scanty on cooking items. The property management responded to our queries promptly but cited the house rules (limited TP, paper towels and kitchen towels). If you are in a position to supplement by bringing your own, this won’t be a bother. For us, flying in, that felt a bit “tight.”

Nice place
A good place to celebrate a reunion with friends. Plenty of room to sleep, common area a tad too small but we made it work. Very clean and had everything we need. Close to the beach so perfect location.

The property location was very good. About 4 blocks to the beach. There is also a restaurant, coffee house, Deli, and grocery store all located on the beach. The property WAS NOT properly cleaned. Not all bed linens had been changed. We were up at mid night washing the linens. They are ants. The floors were dirty as well and not all in house trash containers were emptied prior to our arrival. I specifically emailed, had a phone conversation, and spoke with the manager about my concerns with cleanliness. I was assured each time that the property would be satisfactory. With all the concerns about covid, the property should have been cleaner. The kitchen was adequately supplied with dishes, pans, and silverware. Only 1 TV in the house (living room).

I actually never write properly reviews, but I just can’t believe how filthy this property was. The hard wood floors were disgusting. My child’s feet were black from walking around the house. You could see and feel the filth on the floors throughout the house. There is no way the floor was the cleaned before we arrived. There were also ants. You would find random ants all around the home. With the amount of money you spend for cleaning and other fees, I was appalled at the amount of dirt everywhere (and ants!). I would also agree with another reviewer that the pictures are nicer than the actual place. It has a very fun down feeling. It would also be nice if they had some outdoor furniture. There was no table or chairs to sit outside and enjoy the weather. The location is prime. I would say that’s the only positive.

Loved the gas stove, refrigerator, bar, large dinning room table, kitchen gadgets, and plenty of dishes. Thank you for providing the TV, cable box, and WiFi. The A/C wall units and ceiling fans throughout the house were extremely helpful. The humid smell the house has was only an issue when entering the empty house, but dissipated soon after. Parking spots in front of the house were tight, but we managed. Hand soap, dish soap, sponges, and towels provided were plentiful but the house was shorted toilet paper when we first arrived - although we remedied that right away ;)Also, location of the house was a perfect distance between San Francisco and Monterrey. We enjoyed everything in between during our daily excursions, including the house's neighborhood.

We had a nice time!
The house was cute. It was a little under stocked in the kitchen. We had Thanksgiving there and luckily I brought a lot of things from home. It was very comfortable over all. The pictures seemed a little nicer than the house actually was. The kitchen was nice and roomy. The bedrooms were big. The living area could have used another love seat or something. But it was fine.
The only thing that was unpleasant, was that the house does not have forced heat. It has two forced air wall units. With that being said the house had a real problem with musty smell. All our clothes were damp feeling and the windows were all sweaty on the inside. The owner does need to do some work on the ventilation. All the rooms had bags with water filling up in them for the moisture. I don't think I would stay in that house again in the fall. It would probably be better in the summer.
