Light Oak Leaf Cottage
Esta hermosa casa espaciosa tiene 2 habitaciones grandes y 1 habitación más pequeña, con 2 baños completos. También cuenta con aire acondicionado para esos calurosos días de verano y una estufa de pellets (con respaldo de horno) para esas noches frías. Direct TV y acceso a internet WiFi están disponibles en la casa. Esta cabaña cuenta con un plano de planta abierto y acogedor con muchas ventanas. Ha sido completamente renovado y actualizado. Una hermosa terraza acristalada junto al comedor ofrece un lugar para relajarse.
Convenientemente ubicado a una corta distancia en automóvil del bullicioso centro de Bar Harbor, esta tranquila casa se encuentra a lo largo de la ruta del autobús para los autobuses gratuitos de Island Explorer. This is probably my favorite vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in. This little cottage was perfect for my little family and my Husbands parents. It was well stocked and clean. The location is private but also within walking distance of a great restaurant. There were games and camping chairs to sit outside, and a grill on the deck. I would definitely recommend it to any family up to 6 people. There were lots of towels and a washer and dryer which was amazing for this point in our trip. I’ll definitely be booking with them again next year.

Everything was exactly as stated. Enjoyed the location, away from the busy Bar Harbor but close enough to enjoy Acadia. Highly recommend the Bar Harbor Lobster Pound. Best food for price we had the whole trip.

The property is exactly as advertised. Off the main roads, quiet, private, well kept, VERY clean. We cooked all meals there and found the kitchen supplies more than adequate. Plenty of room to spread out (meals, reading, games, puzzles, etc.). Owners were adjacent to the rental property. We talked to Rita, pleasant lady. Highly recommend!

Clean, well-appointed house with no surprises located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and the main part of Acardia. Lobster stand and coffee shop next door, plus good hikes in the less-visited parts of the park. Great if you don't want to be in the middle of the things but close by.

The place was WAY bigger than we expected, super comfortable, lots of spaces for hanging, and beautiful outdoor space as well. We were told the kitchen had everything we needed - and they weren't kidding! We were able to cook every night and even make a birthday cake and some muffins without having to get extra tins. And it's so close to the park, it made hiking trips so easy.

We had 3 generations with us and we all thought the house was great.
Plenty of towels and essentials. The kitchen was very well stocked and allowed us to prepare for each day’s hikes then come back and cook in for dinner. A great value compared to the pricey hotels on the island and so much more private and peaceful.

The house is located conveniently to Bar Harbor and ACADIA NP also within easy walking distance to one of the best lobster shacks on the island. Nice enclosed porch. Do be aware the upstairs shower is a tight fit.

We loved the spaciousness and convenience of the cottage. Easy check in check out. It is a little off the beaten path but perfect for our stay. I would have enjoyed an extra wash cloth or two but there is a washer and dryer.

Excellent location and access to the island as well as shopping inland. Nicely renovated, well maintained and furnished house. The house is within walking distance of The Travelin Lobster, an excellent place to get seafood and reasonably priced live lobsters. Just an FYI, the house is on a dirt road, but for a short distance, window AC units were adequate, top floor had low ceilings on the edges due to the pitch of the roof, not for tall people.

Wonderful property close to everything!!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The house is very clean and well maintained, and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more to serve as our home base in between our adventures in downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. The home is set back away from all of the hussle and bussle of the tourist area, but plenty close to drive in for whatever you want to do. It is no wonder this property has so many great reviews! Would stay again. :)

Easy access and out of the congestion.
We had a great stay. Didn’t find the shuttle very convenient but we were able to drive ourselves around to the activities we wished to do. The house had plenty of space to hang out together. Kitchen was well equipped to allow for some less expensive meals so we could save up for lobster nights. Would consider coming back!

This is a beautiful, spacious house. We loved the private and quiet location. It was an ideal and comfortable place to come back to after a long day in Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor.
