Very nice. Up to date. A little expensive, but everything is in St Thomas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was great. Beach was beautiful and quaint. Very easy to book excursions through Cruz bay watersport, which on the property. First class!!

Our first trip to St. Thomas. We live in California, so it is a real trek getting there, however, well worth the trip. Resort was everything we hoped for, and absolutely true to VRBO representation. Also, the staff at the Ritz Carlton were, without exception, excellent.

Great stay at the Ritz condos at St. Thomas. Our 2 br unit was very spacious and both rooms had balconies / large bathrooms (see note below on second unit), kitchen is well equipped, staff at the Ritz are kind and helpful, etc.
Only callout is if you are NOT staying from Saturday to Saturday, the Ritz may require you to move units on Saturday, since that is a changeover day. The host of the property made it clear to us that this was possible so it was not unexpected, and the process wasn't bad (we were in transition for 2 hrs and the Ritz handled all of our luggage / food), but a slight inconvenience to be aware of. Also worth mentioning that the unit we transitioned to, and spent the last night of our 8 nights, was less desirable than our first unit (end of building layout with only one of 2 bedrooms having a beach view balcony, smaller kitchen area, etc.).
Overall great stay and would come again.

The 2br for our family of 4 was perfect! The entire resort was amazing! Everyone went above and beyond from check in to check out. Incredibly staff-they were all so friendly and helpful in every way. The 2 beach areas, pools, work out room, tennis (rackets,etc), food choices for day and night, and pool bars were all wonderful. The resort grounds are absolutely gorgeous and so manicured. Highly recommend the club residence side for families -The rooms are beautiful and so spacious! And the view from the room is stunning. The beds in the room were so comfortable. Definitely a 5 star resort!

Five star resort and the the condo was beautiful, clean and exactly what we needed. The ritz is the nicest resort on the Virgin Islands. Hand down. Everyone working there were friendly and helpful. It was a five star experience for sure.

Communication leading up to the trip along with customer service while there was perfect. The property was exactly as advertised. So spacious and clean with a beautiful view. The property itself is excellent. We spent lots of time at the pool but also took day trips to St. John and the BVI. Highly recommend!

The room is absolutely beautiful, very clean with all of the amenities you need. The owner was very helpful prior to the trip, gave us recommendations on things to do in St. Thomas and was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed our time visiting the many pools and my kids especially loved the pool with the water slide. Lots for everyone to do and the overall service and staff were incredible. The Italian restaurant onsite was delicious, we ate there twice. We also did the pizza pi boat ride on Lady Lynzie and saw some beautiful fish snorkeling. If you want a unit that’s on an upper floor I would recommend getting there on a Saturday, even though that was our preference and it was noted in the files by the time we got there on Sunday they were all taken. Besides that, great experience, beautiful property and I would highly recommend!!

The property was beautiful with great location/access to the beach. The residence was extremely clean and spacious. We definitely look forward to visiting again.

Great Stay
We stayed for a week at this condo. First, the condo is incredible. The furniture is lovely, marble floors and incredible views. While I read some reviews saying that the Ritz staff is not very responsive, we found the opposite. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay. A couple of thoughts:
1. There are multiple reefs around the property with fish to see. Some of them you need to swim further out to see. That was a real plus.
2. The Club section of the resort is very close to the hotel section of the resort. In photos, it can appear much further away but in reality, it is only about a 5-minute walk.
3. The on-site restaurant Coconut Cove, which is at the Club section of the resort, had great lunch food but our dinners there were overpriced and not great. Instead of going there for dinner, visit the two nearby restaurants: Caribbean Fish Market (skip the octopus carpaccio and get the seafood hotpot) and Sunset Grille (roasted beet salad and miso Chilean sea bass were great). The resort will drive you to both of these restaurants without cost.
4. The resort shuttle which takes you to the above two restaurants is not a "Ritz" shuttle (at least not when we were there). Rather it was a local taxi minivan so don't be on the lookout for a Ritz van to pick you up.
5. We took the Lady Lindsay cruise to snorkel and see turtles and fish but only saw one turtle and not many fish. The boat itself was gorgeous and we had lots of fun sailing (crew was great too) but really, not much fish to see where we anchored to snorkel. We did splurge and hired a boat for an afternoon. We went to much better places to snorkel and I would highly suggest this if you can afford the price.
6. The water was lovely at the resort. There are some rocks and some people suggest wearing water shoes, but I found that unnecessary. At the Club section of the resort, there are several places to enter the beach where there are no rocks. Regarding the rocks, the rocks are not small, moveable rocks. Rather, it is a large rock formation that goes on and on but is only about 2' wide. Once past that rock formation, you are on all sand. A bit further out is seaweed. There is more rock at the hotel side of the beach so we mostly stayed at the Club beach.
7. If you are looking to walk endless beaches, this is not the place for you. The beach is lovely but it eventually ends and then there are rocks so long walks are not possible.

Wonderful Stay!
The Ritz property was beautiful and the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful with any requests. The Ritz concierge reached out a week before our stay to make sure any reservations were taken care of, spa appointments were booked, and groceries were ordered to be in the condo upon our arrival. Our stay exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to return!

Amazing place…but some caviots to consider
I think you get everything you expect from a Ritz property in terms of customer service upkeep and the place itself is absolutely beautiful, with everything you need and a view you can’t beat. It also has all the amenities you need and a much better and larger suite than you get from the actual hotel next-door. However it is worth considering some point. First, you should know that there is a lot of seaweed at the beach, though it’s possible might be worse at certain times which I cannot say for sure. They work hard to remove the seaweed on a daily basis, but it’s a tough battle to fight. Maybe it was worse, because we came after that hurricane passed near the area in the summer. Second, you do get the amenities of the resort next-door, which is fantastic if you’re not as interested in the beach and also, the beach is more cleared of seaweed on that side, with less of that dead seaweed smell. I will say that at night for some reason there’s a strange lack of personnel helping out with things like towels if you need them and maintenance. Overall, we loved being in Saint Thomas and visiting Saint John so easily from there and this was a great base of a place to stay, but for us we’d rather be closer to finer beaches like Megan’s bay, since that’s what we think of when it comes to the Caribbean.

Great stay at a beautiful location
The residence was clean and nicely furnished. Our house keeper was top notch in keeping the place clean and tidy every morning and evening. The kitchen was well stocked and if you needed something that wasn't available you could get it from the concierge - even spices! Concierge and front desk were very helpful in getting dinner reservations and taxis.
My only complaints aren't with the residence itself as it was very nice. First, the beach was full of seaweed. I know this is out of their control as it's mother nature, but the beach was pretty much un-usable during our stay in early July. If you walked over to the hotel side, which is just a short walk, the beach there didn't have as much seaweed. Additionally, the wait staff around the pool and at the restaurant on the club side was pretty much non-existent. Luckily we had brought a small soft-side cooler with us to pack drinks in to take to the pool. We were there for a week and not once did anyone proactively approach us for a drink order. I had approached the bar and told the bartender my daughter and I were going to set at a table for lunch so she knew we were there. We sat for about 15 minutes and no one ever came by so we left. Just wasn't the level of service I was expecting at a Ritz location.

Great family vacation
Had a great time with our three children here. The property was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. There are a lot of fun things to do on site as well as fantastic excursions that can be booked through the Ritz. The only negative was the amount of seaweed on the beach, but it did not stop us from enjoying our stay. Can’t wait to go back!

Fabulous Family Vacation
I can't say how wonderful this place was. Leah was able to book our vacation within a week's notice and the unit in building #6 was beautiful!
It was our first time to St Thomas and will not be our last. Just loved everything about it and didnt want to come home which is a FIRST for our family!

Amazing trip!
Our family (two adults and three children) has stayed at the Ritz as well as in the residences many times and the vacation is always great. The residences work perfectly for our family. And renting from Leah was a pleasure. She answered my emails so quickly and she was so easy to work with. All of the pictures give a true representation of the property and the amenities are amazing! I would highly recommend the property as well as renting directly from Leah. Hopefully we will be there again next year!!

Friendly, helpful staff
The Ritz residences had plenty of space for my family with an amazing view of the ocean! The staff was friendly and very helpful. All the facilities were clean and our unit was cleaned twice a day. There is a lot to do in St Thomas and surrounding islands. Our favorite meals were at Oceana and ZoZo's. I highly recommend using the peaceful spa for at least one treatment.
