Great location if you like to walk everywhere. Walked to a concert, downtown, restaurants and parks. Well maintained and comfortable. We will come again!

Easy access to the river and provided floaties, paddle boards and kayaks was the best part of this house.The central location allows for easy walking along the park trails and to the downtown area where there are many restaurants and shops.There is a lot to do in the area.Garage parking is definitely a bonus; maybe if you have two small cars they would both fit.One additional car would have to go sideways on the driveway. Street parking is not available.The street is busy and can be noisy.People park on this corner to load/unload to access the river at Drake Park across the street.There were homeless people hanging out on one side of the house by the river's edge for the first 2 days we were there.Kitchen and main living areas are spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed.Unfortunately the house overall can use a lot of TLC and deep cleaning. The outdoor furnitures were dirty so we didn't use them.A mouse ran out of the BBQ cabinet when we opened it.Lots of garage and window cobwebs/dust. Mold in bathrooms, carpet stains, slow draining tubs.We cleaned the living room window sills, kitchen drawer crumbs/debris, washing machine rubber gasket and fridge water dispenser drain before use.Bedding and towels didn't smell fresh and need updating.Sliding glass doors and some windows didn't have screens.Side gate on riverside of house was wonky and wooden slats fell out when we opened it.Shed where floaties are kept was a mess and dusty.For the price we expected a lot more.

As other reviews said, there is a considerable amount of street noise at this location. However it’s a great location to walk to downtown Bend, great food trucks that we frequented and lots of coffee shops and breweries. And yes the Deschutes River is “a step away” from house. Fun to see people on floats, kayaks, paddle boards pass by. It was fun to see your family wave at you from the back patio when you’re the last one in the family to float down the river.
We had a good time. And happy we had this experience. Host is excellent!

This was our 3rd time staying here, and it has been perfect every time. The check in, the house , and the location are great. The wear is becoming obvious but it is still a perfect choice

We had an absolutely amazing stay here. The kitchen is INCREDIBLY well stocked. Fit all of us very well. Easy walk to Downtown and over the little bridge to great food options.
We barely had to drive. Definitely coming back when it's warmer to take advantage of the kayaks. Thank you to the hosts for a really lovely home!

This house was perfect for our two families for a vacation to Bend and skiing at Mt Bachelor. Everyone had plenty of space and the house had everything we needed. Great location--easy walking distance to the Lot food trucks, bagels, and coffee.

Just what we needed for our family's stay in Bend. The house is very conveniently located to downtown and even closer is a nice row of good restaurants. The 2 master bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house. The kitchen is well stocked with needed cooking pots, pans, etc. Lovely outdoor space on the river. The only negative is the proximity to the busy road, so there is a fair bit of car noise, though there are very nice plantings that provide good privacy while still allowing for natural light.
Very responsive host! Great communication before and during our stay. We had an issue with the gas fireplace (first use of the season) and Kelli addressed the issue very promptly. We would stay again.

nice home near park, unfortunately there was a homeless guy sleeping just over the stone fence most of our stay, made things a bit uncomfortable.

Walking distance to breweries/bars/ restaurants. The river is your back yard and it’s slow moving in that area. Only difficulty we had was parking. We were there for my daughters wedding and we had to play musical cars for a few days. Other then that place is great!

The layout of the home was perfect, with plenty of room to gather, and spaces to hide out when you needed a little privacy. Many relaxing nights spent on the patio watching the river go by! The location is in the center of everything, and so many great options for food, drink and entertainment all within an easy walk. Kelli was a pleasure to work with, and quick to respond with any questions. It was an amazing week!

This was our second year at this house and it works perfect for us. Location is prime. The river is out the back steps, Drake's park is across the street, and Mill District and Ole Downtown are walkable

We came for the July 4th holiday and could not have been happier. The house is designed perfectly for gathering but also affords privacy for an afternoon nap or some down time. We loved the direct access to the river and the fact that there were so many places within walking distance. Kelli was a superb host!

We had a great time in Bend and Kelli's house on the river made for a wonderful stay! Kelli was a delight to deal with and the house was very comfortable and well equipped. This was our first visit to Bend and we were with our two teenage grandsons. We all enjoyed being on the river and greatly appreciated the view from the patio, easy river access and use of the house's kayaks and paddleboards. Lots of fun stuff to do in and around Bend and a good time was had by all.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The SUP, kayaks, and tubes made the river so much fun and easy. The home is in the perfect location for walking every where. We would definitely come back again!

We really enjoyed our family time here. We walked everywhere to dinner and breweries. My son used the paddle board. The backyard is amazing. There is some street noise, but this did not bother us. We will go back.

Beautiful property and home located right on the river. Excellent location with park playgrounds, restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores nearby. The house has a large, super functional kitchen furnished with everything you need. We ate-in most nights fixing meals for 6 adults and 2 kids. The living room is also large with a gas fireplace and large TV. Bedrooms and bathrooms are also well-equipped and work well. We had a lot of fun and quality family time while staying at this excellent home in Bend.

Beautifully renovated midcentury house located on the Deschutes with nice park views from the living room. We loved the location - close to park playgrounds for the kiddos, restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries. Loved Big O Bagels and fancy food restaurant, Bosa, all within 2 block walking, and Nancy P's Pies for delicious baked goods and lunch. The spacious kitchen, nicely furnished with the basics and acres of countertop, made Thanksgiving preparations enjoyable. Living room has plenty of seating and the gas fireplace made for a cozy gathering spot for our family. Bedrooms have nice linens and bathrooms are clean and newly updated. Great communication with the host. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property on the water within walking distance to great restaurants, shops and breweries. Roadway was a bit noisy, we didn’t realize how busy the street would be. Property manager was great to deal with.

This was our first Family trip to Bend with our adult children. We couldn't have asked for a better setup and accomodations. Don't let the outside of the house discourage you in size because once you're in, you have more than enough room for everyone.
We enjoyed the surrounding Pubs and places to eat but we also enjoy the wonderful kitchen wiith everything we needed. All of us from 8 years old to 53 years old floated the River everyday and we were able to get out at the house right before the Park. It was very convenient.
The Parking was a bit tricky but two cars fit in the garage just fine and the 3rd in the driveway. During the day we parked the other two cars up at a park and in the evenings brought them back to be nearby. It was quite easy.
Communication with Kelli was great throughout. I accidentally left a few things behind and they sent it all back to our home in a timely manner. The house was very clean, floating tubes, towels, kayaks and more. We took our electric bikes and was able to ride from the house following the River until we decided to turn around. We had a great time at a concert at the amphitheater and of course Bend is just a fabulous area for everything.
We will return to this home for sure and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a great location, cleaniness, room for all and wonderful communication with the owners. You will not be disappointed.

Family vacation on the river in Bend
We had a terrific time in house on the river in Bend. We spent most of our time outside or on the river. The house was furnished comfortably and the kitchen had most things needed. It could use new wine glasses and enough for everyone. But we managed and that’s just a suggestion and not a complaint. Kelli was great to answer questions and always available. We hope to repeat our stay next summer

Such a gem!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this riverfront spot. We didn’t know too much about Bend when we booked but the location was perfect! It’s close to downtown, the old mill district, Drake park and the river put in spots for a float on the Deschutes river.
The house is well appointed with a nice kitchen and the supplies you need if you’re wanting to cook or dining in. We walked to dinner nightly because there were SO many amazing restaurants within walking distance.
Bedrooms were all nicely furnished with nice linens and comfy beds. Bathrooms were spotless and came with good towels and bath products.
We enjoyed the backyard space and the loaner kayaks, SUP boards and tubes that were available.
Owners were easy to communicate with, super kind with their welcome and generally just pleasant to work with.
It’s a great house in an amazing location and we would have stayed longer if we could!

Magic in Bend
Our family flew in for a whirlwind Thanksgiving week and could not have been more pleased with the property. The location is perfect, the amenities were good, and the checkin process was seamless. The property was spacious, clean, and fully met our needs. Wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

Amazing property at an amazing time of year. We enjoyed the cooler weather, but were able to put the kayaks in the water during the warmer afternoons. The colors of the trees in the fall were wonderful just outside the front window view. The nights were quiet but the daytime allowed lots of people and dog watching. A perfect week.

Fun times in Bend
We found this home to be everything that it said it was!! We had enough room to spread out when we were home snd it was close to all the things we had planned to do. We were able to walk to town for shopping and dinner and the hikes we did were all within a half hour drive. Kelli responded quickly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend Bend and this house!

Perfect
This home easily sleeps 8. The backyard view of the river is perfect for drinking coffee in the morning to cocktails in the evening. There is plenty of seating provided . It's dog friendly with both front and backyard fenced. River toys and accessories from the property are provided. Walking distance to downtown and old mill district . This is our 2nd year and I know we'll be back.

Little Slice of Heaven
Perfect location for a summer visit to Bend, right on the river and across the street from the tubing takeout / shuttle stop at Drake Park. Beautifully remodeled modern home, plenty of space for our family and dog. Air conditioning was perfect on the hot days. Walking distance to downtown Bend and many great restaurants.. Kayaks, SUP, and four comfortable river tubes made it a perfect week. We had such a great time that we’ve already requested another week here next summer!

Wonderful family stay
Great location for our family get together. Kelli was great at checking in with us throughout our stay. We enjoyed using the tubes that were at the house for floating on the river. The back patio with sectional and umbrella was especially nice for relaxing, cooking out and gathering.

Perfect Stay
This home was perfect for our stay in bend. Perfect location next to Drake Park, walkable to downtown/old mill/box factory and the restaurants on Galveston. Riverfront access with kayaks and a paddle board. Kelli was incredibly responsive and generous. Will try to stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay and already rebooked! The home sits on the river with a beautiful view and landscaping.
We loved sipping coffee outside, listening to the birds, and watching the river go by. After hiking and exploring around Bend, we enjoyed wine and bbq outside as well. White lights set up in the backyard make the home even more enchanting.
There is plenty of room to spread out and have privacy with a group. We watched movies in the living room every night of our stay.
My husband did several runs while we were staying there, with longer runs of 9 to11 miles right from the home. My sister and I enjoyed walking the neighborhood, looking at the beautiful homes and gardens and the paths along the river.
We did waterfall hikes, hiked around the Lava Lands, and really enjoyed a visit to the High Desert Museum with a picnic after.
There is a coffee maker and filters in the kitchen provided for morning coffee, but we also loved sipping coffee at The Commons on the river. Also, sitting outside on the river at Bend Brewing made for a pretty perfect afternoon.
I can't remember if there were air cooling fans in the closet, but that would be a nice addition (there probably were, this home has everything!).
