Nice location near beach and renovated decor. Good staff. Good bed and clean, comfy room. Reasonable value for money.

The property was beautifully landscaped and proximity to the ocean was great. Receptionist Diane was delightful. Rented bikes which were in working order.

The room was outdated. Rusty shelf in bathroom and door handle outside. Even the door definitely needs replacing. Even though it was shut & locked it still had a gaping openness letting in the cool air.

Location is great and felt centralized for our activities. The beach really is the backyard and part of the island's biking trail is accessible through there. Staff was courteous and Will was fun to chat with! Room was comfortable and cozy with robes and good toiletry. Loved that the Beach House restaurant is next door. A plus is the hotel size: not too many rooms so it did not feel overwhelming and crowded. The text messages to keep in touch with the staff and them checking on us was a nice touch, especially prior to check-in and after check-out (and they were not automated but actual people messages!). Our fridge was stocked up with a variety of complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.

The bed was a bit squeaky so getting in/out of bed and tossing around was noisy but I disregarded since we were out and about most of the time. I never received my check-out statement even after a follow-up inquiry a couple of days later.

I liked that you had a short walk to the beach, and the fire pit at night was nice. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I rented two rooms and one had something brown sprayed on the bathroom wall. I'm hoping it was coffee but it was in the bathroom. And the rooms were clean, but there were areas around the sink that had obviously not been cleaned well in either room. Also, when charging a resort fee I expect a bit more in amenities than some juice and coke in the fridge, powdered creamer and not even a continental breakfast. This was a decent hotel, but really just a revamped motel with some upgrades. Not really a club/resort. There are other places on the island just as nice with actual beach views and breakfast for less.

Great location, but what stood out was the staff. Every single person went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I was impressed! I have traveled A LOT, and never experienced this level of responsiveness and friendliness. Champagne on arrival, free water and soda in the frig….delightful.

Only complaint was our shower door was broken and the shower curtain fix just didn’t work.

Staff were so so helpful- Diane was just lovely! The location was gorgeous and easy access to the beach Lovely bed linens and spotlessly clean.

I’ve stayed at most all of the hotels on Jekyll Island and this is one of the absolute best. The staff go out of the way to make sure your stay is the best. Rooms are great and the beds are some of the most comfortable.

No microwave oven in the room?

Lovely grounds with comfortable seating and a cool fire pit at night. Great staff. Bathroom was large with nice walk-in shower. Good restaurant right next door. Excellent walking options on beach or on paved walkway that runs close along the beach and connects to parks, conference center, shops and restaurants several miles south.

Could have used another chair or bench seating option as the beds are a bit high to sit comfortably. (We had 2 queen beds with 3 people.)

Beautiful property a short walk to the beach. Wonderful staff. Pool was great.

Will and the staff were amazong and very helpful throughout my stay, and the location was ideal. Beach and pool amidst lovely trees and dunes of the island.

The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner and the room could use a microwave to round out all the other top notch features (mini fridge, keurig, etc).

great location right on the beach

The location was very good, the room was large and nice to open the doors to the grassy area for our dogs.

the floors were quite dirty. I had spilled some water that I used a paper towel to wipe up, and when doing so discovered the paper towel basically black! I then put water on other areas of the floor which was all manufactured hardwood looking. It seems the floor had not been mopped for quite some time! yuck!! it made a good trip into a “not staying there again “ trip!! I did tell management but it made for a huge disappointment.

I’ve stayed here several times and it’s always a great experience- the cleanliness, the convenience, the scenery and landscaping, the comfort, and the BEST staff.

I was just missing a hair dryer!

Quiet and clean, beautiful outdoor area with gas pits. You could rent bikes there. You were welcomed with a glass of champagne and we were able to check in early since our room was ready!

The shower did not have a shelf to place your toiletries, you had to put then on the floor
