Family loved the cabin. It was clean, comfortable and a great setting and location!

The cabin was inviting, adorable, clean, and decorated with antiques, quilts, and rustic, eclectic pieces. The cabin was stocked with everything you may have forgotten and anything you might need to feel at home, illustrating a concern for guests' enjoyment. The owners also created a book of things to do which included a compilation of area restaurants. The cabin was secluded yet walking distance from town. We had a lovely time and will return.

House was just as advertised. Although it was very convenient to walk into our favorite NC small town, it was quiet and secluded. Be sure to follow the owner's directions rather than your GPS once you are in Weaverville!

An excellent place to stay. Our van could only use the bottom of the driveway because it rode too low to get over the gravel, but a higher or shorter vehicle should be fine.

We rented the two neighboring cabins in addition to Acorn for our wedding weekend. The properties were beautiful and the cabins were great for what we needed! I took one star off for cleanliness because the oven was left on the cleaning cycle so it was very smelly and hot in the cabin, and there were a lot of cobwebs etc. countertops, floors and stuff were clean however.

This was our second time staying at Acorn cabin and we plan to return yet again! Our family thoroughly enjoys this gem in Weaverville. We could explore by day and relax on the porch or by the fire at night. This visit we ventured to Mt. Pisgah, Black Mountain, Montreal, Mt. Mitchell, a lot of the Blue Ridge Pkwy, and two days at Biltmore. We really enjoy walking the nature trail into town for ice cream and pizza! The cabin is clean, comfortable, and the owners are very friendly. We’ll be back!

W head never been to the Ashville area. The cabin was clean rustic and quaint. Loved the area. The evenings were nice and quiet. Surprises given the close proximity to shops and food.
Would recommend and if we visited Ashville again would stay!

Really enjoyed the location being a few minutes walk from "downtown" Weaverville with restaurants, micro breweries, wine tasting, pastry/coffee shops and other nice shops. A park is nearby making it convenient for walking dogs. Pretty easy access to highways to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway, National Parks, downtown Asheville, Biltmore and other area attractions.

Overall this place is the perfect “mountain cabin” in a great location! We walked into town frequently, where there are many restaurants, cafes and shops. It is also a short drive to Asheville (15-20 mins). The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, as I was able to cook a full Christmas dinner for our family. Because we were visiting at Christmastime, they even put up a tree!
There was more than enough space for our family of four. Some things to note: the bunk beds are practically in a closet, so if you are planning on using them, be advised. Also, the half bath downstairs is a converted closet, with no door or privacy.

We spent the will before Christmas here and we're charmed by all the vintage decor and cozy bedrooms. It was the perfect place to host my visiting family, including a baby, for the week.

The Cabin is great. Plenty of room for a family of 5. Lots of note cards explaining anything that is not obvious. Its really close to food and amenities but far enough away to feel secluded. my kids loved playing in the creek.

Very nice cabin. We enjoyed the fireplace! Perfect to relax and read a good book. We were close to downtown Asheville. The cabin was very clean! Great instructions on how to get there as well.

This property is in a great location, super close to a cute town, pet friendly, and super clean. We would stay here again if in the area!

Clean. Kitchen well equipped. Comfy furnishings. Covered porch faces north. Well-furnished. One bedroom is loft not room. Stream actually intermittent drainage ditch. In neighborhood. Conveniently located.

It was very nice however the half bath in the lower level was without a curtain or door and
The carpeted floor was not up to any health code we are used to. The steep stairs could be difficult for older folks. The entrance from the road was a bit scary as there is no fence on one side. Overall we loved it. The location was super for all we wanted to do. Weaverville was a cute town and we ate at the Well Bred bakery and Blue Moon pizza. Yum!

Cozy cabin perfect for a long Fall getaway with our two adult daughters. The location in Weaverville is ideally located for downtime as well as visiting Asheville. We enjoyed the scenery driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. The area really has something for everyone.

My wife, 3 teenage kids and dog stayed here. There was plenty of space and the cabin was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed being able to access Weaverville from the cabin by walking or a short drive. We loved the pizza & ice cream right in town and my wife and I enjoyed a couple of the local breweries one afternoon. The cabin is also a quick and easy drive to Asheville and surrounding attractions.

Our stay at Acorn Cabin was everything we hoped it would be. The location and town of Weaverville are fantastic. The owners left detailed instructions for everything and were very nice. The cabin was super clean and offered everything we needed. We loved the short walk through the nature park to get pizza and ice cream. Lots of amenities nearby for groceries, gas, etc. It’s also a short drive into Asheville and surrounding areas. We were able to visit many landmarks and still come back for dinner and a bonfire each night. That was wonderful! Our family made many wonderful memories during our stay and we are already planning a return visit. We would 10/10 stay here again! We’re hoping this can become a place we return to time and time again.

We stayed in the cabin with our son and daughter-in-law and had a great time. Weaverville is a wonderful community with lots of fun restaurants and shops, and we spent time there, in Ashville, and up in the Blue Ridge. The hosts left a nice book with suggestions of places to hike and to visit including brochures, and we added several of their suggestions to our plans. We cooked in a few nights and had everything we needed to prepare meals, including a new outdoor grill. I would certainly return.

Clean and in good order. Great location for Weaverville access, close to Asheville. GPS finds property easily. Owner/manager is wonderfully responsive.
Excellent internet speed and a table near an outlet if you need remote work access. Like many other mountain structures, there are many stairs. Comfortable beds. New appliances. Mold-free showers. I need to learn how to use Roku.

This was our second stay. We enjoy the wooded environment. The location is great to walk into Weaverville and visit shops and eat at restaurants.

It was the perfect location. The only complaints that I have is the living room is very tiny and the 3rd bathroom was a half bath.

This cabin was perfect for a girls trip in the Asheville, NC area. All of the destinations that we visited were easily accessible by car. The cabin provided a comfortable, relaxing place for us to spend evenings talking and catching up. Our hosts were responsive to the questions that we had upon arrival, answering our phone calls immediately. We would definitely book it again.

First, let me explain that the group staying in all three cabins for our son's wedding in Asheville are seasoned travelers who are very discriminant. Most have travelled extensively throughout the world and some are in the tranportation/hospitality field.
Therefore, it was important for me to find accommodations that would stand up to the scrutiny. I could not have found a better grouping of elegant cabins than the cedar creek cabins. The attention to detail and meticulous upkeep inside and outside of the cabin was noticed and appreciated. We wished we could have stayed longer!

We were excited to visit the Asheville area for the first time. We wanted a log cabin experience in the woods, and the Acorn Cabin did not disappoint. It was the perfect amount of space for our family of 4. Though seemingly secluded, the cabin was a short walk through a lovely park into downtown Weaverville. The house was comfortably equipped and decorated. We enjoyed the fireplace, grilling on the deck and building a bonfire to roast smores. The night sky at the cabin was beautiful, something we don't usually enjoy in busy South Florida.
We fell in love with Weaverville and the surrounding area and look forward to visiting again.

Weaverville is just close enough to Asheville to go anywhere you want quickly. It’s a super quaint little town with great local artists and a couple of cute restaurants. All Good Coffee is a must!
Property great! Stairs are a little getting use to, especially for fur babies. And housekeepers need to pay more attention to hairballs that collect in the corners. Doors are old and they don’t lock. Not a problem for us, but different. And, bunk beds are in the closet of the master bedroom and the size of a crib mattress. Downstairs has a cool extra living area. And the loft w/bath upstairs is so fun! We LOVED our stay! And we would rent again for sure!!!
