Avila Tides was a great location-a block from the beach and very comfortable for my family of 5 with 3 teens. We were only there for a few short evenings but enjoyed getting up early, walking a block and getting coffee and sitting at beach. The condo was well appointed and when chilly at night, we turned on fireplace and played games at the table. Would def rent this unit again while visiting daughter at Cal Poly.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Avila Beach home. It was so convenient to the downtown area and to the beaches--a very quick walk! The home was very clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked and great for preparing a holiday meal. My husband and I stayed here with our son (who goes to Cal Poly) just before he moved into his house. The space was perfect. Loved the big sliding glass doors off the kitchen that opened up to the deck. The location was great. We walked to dinner each night. We had to go back and forth to SLO during our stay and the drive was super easy. We will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our week long stay. The condo was beautiful and accommodating. With the beach being about a half block away, restaurants, bars and shops all within a short walking distance, what more can you ask for. Avila beach is beautiful. The property managers, Seven Sisters, were very attentive and made sure our stay was everything we expected. We will be back!

Great Beach Condo
This condo never disappoints! Always clean and welcoming and a very short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Two master bedrooms and a pull out couch for the kids make this a great choice for families. The rooftop is perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an evening drink listening to the waves crash! Second time staying here and will definitely be back!

Our adult children enjoyed our stay at Avila Tides! We celebrated Thanksgiving with the family and the large stocked kitchen and table on the front deck were great! The reverse floor plan with stairs was a little hard for my 91-year-old mom but the 2-bed house was perfect for our three 20-somethings and would comfortably sleep 4 plus an extra one or two on the couch. Super quiet neighborhood and literally half a block to the beach, shops, and restaurants.

Seven Sisters are professional and friendly and were quick to respond to any concerns we had. The rest of the place was clean, well equipped, nice and comfortable. We were a bit bummed that we couldn’t use the top deck as that appeared to have the best views. The property is pretty close to its description, layout, location and amenities were great. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to others.

We rented Avila Tides for 5 nights to celebrate my birthday with my 2 kids. It was a beautiful property and very close to the beach! We loved the location and the ease of getting to all the restaurants, Coffee shops and beach. It was in a gated community which is nice for the security (though we never felt it was needed in Avila-(we saw so many police cars just strolling by making sure everything was ok) Having the gates to go in and out by car or foot did become a nuisance for us. I think next time I will find a place that isn't gated.
The property was CLEAN, in pretty good shape and decorated so cute!
What we liked about it:
-patios with plenty of seating
-kitchen having great appliances and plenty of plates, utensils, serving dishes, etc
-furniture in great condition
-plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner available to use
-washer & dryer available
-beds were comfortable
What we didn't like:
-not much of a view from the unit
-missing basic staples like salt & pepper, napkins, etc.
-shower & sink downstairs was VERY slow in draining
-no A/C (it was very hot the week we were there)
-no access to the roof top viewing deck where the great views were
-noise from street early in morning on weekdays (started right at 7am)
-no Apple TV to stream our own movies, etc. on or to access our own Netflix, etc accounts from
-few, if any, board games available
-BBQ was difficult to work
-water tasted weird (even after filtering it through two water filters (theirs and our own Brita filter)

We love this floor plan, the decor, and the way you can open up the two porch areas for a wonderful flow of beach air and the sound of waves. You cannot beat the quick walk to the beach and shops. We were surprised, however, by how the neighbors are close by on each side, with a view of us from both sides of the home.

Avila Beach is the perfect destination for a family vacation. This condo is a block to the beach. There are ocean views from the beautiful balcony. The beach is never crowded and there are many families with kids. It is quiet and safe. Seven Sisters has the cleanest rentals that we have ever stayed! NOTE: Avila is wonderful, but there are no full service grocery stores. I couldn’t find meat, fish or chicken to cook. You will need grocery delivery or drive into

Great location and beautiful accomodations! We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this condo. We utilized both roof top and off the kitchen patio--this place is made for entertaining and relaxation. We walked to downtowneveryday for food at Custom House and Blue Moon, both excellent and shopping at all the darling shops. We also loved the Friday night Farmers Market. Beach is right there, strolls and runs and sits everyday. Hated to leave!

We stayed for a weekend celebrating our friends upcoming wedding. The rental was extremely clean and well taken care of. The communication was excellent and they use a really great app on your phone to make check in and check out a breeze. All of these things were amazing but the most impressive thing to me about this company is their customer service. We had some scheduling issues with our stay and Terri went out of her way to accommodate us as we navigated our difficult situation. I can not thank her enough for her support and understanding. Thank you for giving us an amazing weekend!

Overall the house was great. Of note is that there is construction right outside of the home that started around 6am and went to 6pm. This was very, very noisy and this should have been listed in the add while the store in front of the home is being built. It was not possible to stay and relax in the home due to saws, nail guns, and jack hammers. The home was well furnished and the roof top is awesome even in the winter. Very clean and spacious and Terri was awesome when a few things like the wifi and garage door stopped working she had them fixed quickly. Low stars are only due to the construction that was not disclosed.
