We’ve been visiting Lake Chelan Shores for 10 years. This was our least enjoyable experience. As always the views are amazing and the grounds / lake access are superb. This unit (17-10) is outdated with very uncomfortable furniture inside and on the patio. However the beds are great! The old carpet is filthy! It left our socks and bare feet so dirty- it’s pretty gross. The WiFi in the entire building is much more miss than hit. When I asked the front desk about why it keeps cutting out, they said there’s nothing they can do and both building #16 and #17 are very spotty. When your family can’t enjoy a movie at night because of the constant buffering, it’s a real bummer. We have 3 teens, so you know how important that WiFi is! Now…we chose to rent this unit and we know Chelan is getting more expensive every year, but $2100 (after all the Vacasa fees) for just THREE nights is not something we’ll do again.

We had a winter stay, & loved every aspect. The only issue is the amenities listed above did not have the same hours as were posted, which meant we were not really able to use the amenities offered. Besides this, however, the stay itself was nearly perfect, especially the room & the service offered. Absolutely recommend this place to stay, just be cautious that amenities may not be available

Nice view, the resort has nice amenities, 5 pools, lake access, and sport courts. This unit didn't have comfortable seating for a family of 5. The one small fold out couch and chair was uncomfortable. Also the unit only had one dish cloth and no scrubber to clean dishes. No cleaner for the counter tops.

Anniversary Weekend Getaway
This condo is very nice and updated, with a fabulous view of Lake Chelan and close to all points of the lake. Very comfortable King Size bed - and several amenities that create the comforts of home. We would definitely stay here again.

The place had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the pools and the tennis courts. There was something for everyone. It was also nice to have a rental place for water toys right in the complex.

Nice Unit - Weak A/C
Plenty of seating and nice view of pool. But the A/C is old and the unit was warm at night. Had maintenance come out three times and replaced fuses and thermostat. They concluded owner needs a new A/C unit.

This place had everything you need. We stayed for 2 days and made most use of it. Location is the key and view of mountain and lake chelan from balcony is beautiful.

adequate accommodation
The unit was adequate but nothing more. The deck furniture is inappropriate for the space: low chairs and table made it difficult to sit anywhere except around the table. In the living room there were only two places to sit at normal levels -- the couch and one armchair. Again, having bar chairs limits the ability to use the chairs for general sitting (there were 5 of us, so two people had to perch on the barstool/chairs. Supplies of soap and shampoo are very stingy (the little round bars of soap are almost useless and the soft soap dispenser that was in one bathroom was almost empty). In this day and age there should be wider access to TV shows. For instance, having a Netflix or other portals where the guests have to use their own account would be easy to set up. The kitchen supplies were good. Beds were comfortable.

perfect getaway
We love Lake Chelan Shores and the unit we rented was next to a 1 bedroom so for our family of six adults and some kids this worked out great. The condo had everything we needed. the views are perfect. the pool was right below so fun to be able to watch the kids swim. I would suggest that the unit have more than a couch and one chair for living room seating. its hard to sit more than two on a couch and then the one chair. ( just a suggestion)

Our Special Summer Place
We love the location of this unit with its awesome view of the lake and the mountains with easy access to the beach and all amenities of Lake Chelan Shores. The unit was sparkling clean and well maintained. We will return.

Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Short Walsh yo beach, pool was close by and the view was extraordinary! Nice upgrades in our unit.

Great Unit at Lake Chelan
This unit was great for our family of four. Even though the kids had to share a bedroom, there was plenty of space inside and out for them to not feel crowded. The condo was nice, and the amenities at the complex made for a great vacation.

What a great few days I had. So peaceful and pleasant. Clean and beautiful. The rooms are cozy. The grill works. Great balcony with table and chairs. Plenty of space in the kitchen and living rooms. Pools are close. Beautiful stay.

Well stocked kitchen with utensils etc. You can walk down to the water in 3 mins within the complex. Close to shopping and restaurants.

The beds in the guest room is very narrow.
The microwave range hood does not vent air outside and recirculated in the unit so we avoided using the kitchen too much. This needs to be addressed.
Overall very happy with the place and will be back.

The condo smelled of cigarrette butts and possibly cigars. For the price of the stay AND THE CLEANING CHARGES ADDED to the price of the rental I will have to think LONG & HARD before we we rent for VRBO in the future.

Fantastic property and condo, horrible cigarette smoke smell
We loved Lake Chelan Shores’ property and the condo was well laid-out, spacious, and well appointed. However the condo absolutely reeked of smoke as if people had been smoking here for 10 years prior to renting it out. Smoke has permeated the carpet (turned our socks black walking around), the cabinets (plastic cups even tasted like smoke) and the dressers (all our clothes smell awful now that we are home). It was distinctively cigarette smoke and not the hazy air from the Eastern Washington wildfires. This would have been a lovely stay except for this issue. I noticed on another website that the guests who stayed right before us complained of the same. This unit should be taken off of the rental market until this is remediated.

We really enjoyed staying at Lake Chelan Shores. Swimming pools are easily accessible from each condo. This is a great place for families with children.

Wonderful place! Tastefully done, well equipped and had everything we needed for a 5 day stay with three kiddos! Great view, close to everything, not to mention a pool right in front of the condo and a private lake access! Kids loved it all!

Beautiful and clean condo and complex.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous condo. Everything was immaculate and clean, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. The pools were nice and clean an our son loved the kiddie pool. The beach was nice too.
Things that might be nice to know: The complex provided shampoo, soap & body wash, a few dishwasher packs, a few washing machine packs, and a small bag of coffee & some coffee supplies. The coffee pot has one of those mesh filter things so don’t worry about bringing or buying filters. There were LOTS of towels provided, but the complex doesn’t provide any pool/beach towels. The bathrooms have blow driers. The front door doesn’t have a bar or chain lock, and the dead bolt unlocks itself when you pull the door handle. Only reason I mention this is because our toddler kept running out the door since it was so easy to open. I also tried to keep our son off the patio because the chairs were a little high which made me nervous with a quick and curious child. Also, you have to go down a small set of stairs and up a set of stairs to get to the unit. It might be challenging for those with mobility issues or small kids (aka lots of stuff.)
Overall we loved this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat. It may not have been the most kid-friendly place, but it was nothing that changed how much we enjoyed staying there.

The condo is very clean and nicely laid out. The view was beautiful. I loved having coffee out on the deck looking out onto the lake. The only thing I would say could use updating is the pull out couch. Its advertised as sleeping 6, with the pull out couch. The mattress is very thin and slopes downward toward the head when laying on it. If that could be fixed it would make this unit great.
Other than that- we had a great time and would book again for four of us.
