What a gem of a house! The view was fantastic, the kitchen was stocked with all we could need. Cocktails on the deck and enjoying the hot tub while overlooking the ocean were our favorites each day. We’ll be back again for sure !

Fabulous view of Netarts Spit. Comfortable surroundings, quiet location, convenient drive to Oceanside, Cape Meares, Cape Lookout and Tillamook. Enjoyed Upstairs Bar & Grill along with The Schooner Restaurant.

We chose this rental to celebrate several special occassions with our family of adult children and grandchildren. What you see from the photos is what you get. Too often we have stayed at rentals that are deceiving as to the quality. Views. Comfort etc. This home had it all and it was wonderful for our extended family. Exceptional kitchen. Various living spaces with views from every main space. Access to many fun activities. Clean. Well stocked and comfortable beds. The spiral staircase to the downstairs area is a little tricky to navigate so if there are younger children or elderly interested in using the hot tub or downstairs area it’s just something to consider. We really enjoyed the bay, exploring Oceanside, the lighthouse at Cape Mears and Tillamook is close by as well. Beautiful area of the Oregon Coast!

This home has it all. Stunning views, comfortable beds, an amazing kitchen, a cozy light filled sitting room on the top floor, and even a soaking tub in the bathroom. Like the other Shore Thing rental house we use, it was immaculate. We have especially appreciated working with Monica and Sarah over the years. Sarah is incredibly responsive and fun to work with. I have contacted the “other” vacation rental company in the area and they respond with automated replies rather than the personal touch I always get from Monica and Sarah. We look forward to our visits to Netarts all year!

We absolutely loved the views from this house! We enjoyed mornings out on the balcony with coffee and binoculars, watching bald eagles fly by, and lots of boats out on the bay!! It was so neat to watch the very active tidal waters of this area, sometimes the clean sounded and looked so close!! It was lovely to have a covered second porch downstairs with seating and the hot tub-it was still March at the coast and with the on again off again rain, this was such a lovely addition! The hot tub was huge, and so hot and clean! We loved sitting in at night and hearing the ocean as well as the morning while it was pouring outside! The spiral staircase was hard with our senior pup but we carried him up and down and it was still fine, just spent more time upstairs! I didn’t realize there was a third little level with another tv and couches-being up there during the rain was so cool, and even more beautiful watching a sunset from so high up! Easy to explore other places, the host was wonderful, and even ran out of her way to drop off something we needed! The house was clean, well stocked, there was a big bathtub we didn’t use because the hot tub was so wonderful! Beds were firm, I had read this and brought my own creature comfort pillow from home! We would definitely come back here and stay and happily explore this area more!! Thanks for sharing this house with us!

This house was absolutely great for a family stay. Comfortable, well spread out, well equipped, and very clean. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the heating seems to be inconsistent across rooms, but it's easy to work around. We would happy stay here again, especially with the incredible view!

I really enjoy this house. There is now a new hot tub that is gigantic and a new bed in the master bedroom that were pleasant surprises. My partner and I have stayed here many times. It has an incredible view and a great kitchen to cook in. Highly recommend!

Toilets were slow flowing and bottom floor one wasn't bolted down. TVs instruction and operation was confusing and cable channels very difficult to access even basic networks. Bbcue was dirty as was big pot for boiling shellfish. Unit was well stocked and clean.

The views at this house were so perfect for our vacation. Between my 86 tr old mom and my uncle with mobility issues, we couldn't have found a better house. They didn't have any crazy amount of stairs and they could enjoy the views all day!! The house was perfectly stocked with everything we could've needed. It was a perfect fit for our needs. Thank you!

I'm a Netarts local and stayed in this lovely home for 4 nights while my house was having some work done. I really didn't want to leave! The house is in great shape and the views are like nothing you've ever seen; absolutely amazing! I've officially found my new "go to" house for friends and family visiting the area. The house was clean and well-stocked and the hot tub was treated and ready to go.. If you rent this home, you won't be disappointed. Additionally, the rental managers were an absolute joy to work with. They left a bouquet of flowers on the counter for my arrival with some tasty chocolates and checked in after I arrived to make sure everything was in order. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

We stayed over spring break and Vista View was perfect for us in so many ways. THe view is spectacular, I would never get tired of it. The house really takes advantage of the views with all the windows and the deck. It allows our dog to come along and he loves the beach. The hot tub is a huge bonus. Upstairs and down it has multiple spaces for our boys to hang out in. It is very clean with new appliances. DOwnstairs is a huge TV and we loved having family movie nights down there. The queen size bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our whole family loved it. The booking process and management company are very responsive and are local which is a big plus.

Such a great place!
I want to thank Sarah, the property manager, and Ruth and her cleaning crew for managing to turn over this rental in time for our arrival. We arrived between two snow storms and it was an endeavor for them to get up the hill to reach the house...but they managed (after two tries) and provided us a clean property as promised. The property was amazing...so well equipped, with a gorgeous view and lovely amenities. Thank you for such a great visit!

Amazing house with breathtaking views
I came to this house with a small group of friends for labor day weekend. The house was perfect! Very spacious to spread out and play games - we loved the upstairs play/game room. It was beautiful to see the sunrise and sunset. The beds could be a little bit more comfortable but all around would stay at this house again!

Relaxing and Enjoyable
What a beautiful setting for a vacation. Serene and close to other sites and parks. I would love to return. Only suggestion for improvement is to have a bench by the front door to accommodate shoe removal. One in the master bedroom would help as well.

Beautiful views! The check in and support was great, but be warned about a few things: 1) no air conditioning / fan for heat spells 2) the beds are not comfortable 3) there is no water dispenser or ice machine so you definitely have to go into town in order to get basic necessities like water. The views are unparalleled though and would return.

The kitchen is big and outfitted nicely, it had everything we needed. We tried some of the local restaurants - The Schooner and Nevor Shellfish Farm and they were both excellent. Oceanside beach is so close and a nice place for a long walk. We will definitely be back!

Because it's a busy place that takes dogs, it was a risk for me, since I am allergic to fleas. And, sure enough, I got flea bites.
I recommend strongly that the company:
-do not rent for 2 days in a row
-flea bomb all 3 floors
-repeat every few months
That was disappointing but people do not all have their dogs on flea medicine.
Because it's a busy place that takes dogs, it was a risk for me, since I am allergic to fleas. And, sure enough, I got flea bites.
I recommend strongly that the company:

Regarding the house - it has one of the best views in the area. It was very clean and well appointed.
