I want to preface this by saying Arleen and her husband are very nice and attentive people.
Apparently there is a limitation of 1500 characters!
The owner lives next door and insist on giving you a tour of the house to show you what light switch does what. I'd prefer to be contactless and relax after the drive. The couches are very old and worn out... feels like you are sitting on springs. Arleen showed us blankets to put over the couches since we had our dogs during the tour.
The kitchen utensils are worn out and cheap. Broken wooden handles on the knives, etc. Glasses that were removed from the cabinets were sticky. We hand washed everything before using it after that.
We rented the place for the backyard. It was almost a foot tall and the shrubbery was overgrown. We, and our pups, were swarmed by mosquitos in the backyard.
Arleen had it cut the following afternoon after we requested it, and had her husband bring over a fogger which helped. With the money that we spent to have that option, it should have been done prior to our arrival. The TV was very small and the dish network didn't work when we got there. The mattresses were also very worn and uncomfortable. We ended up leaving after two nights despite paying for three nights.

We had an awesome time and we enjoyed every minute of our visit!
Recommendation: The housekeeping team should be on the same page as the owner; we as guests left the bathroom's cleanliness in better shape than they were turned in to us. It’s important to make sure that all is great before next guests arrive.

This house is amazing! Arlene was very helpful should you have any questions or concerns. Amazing back yard space for the dogs as well as sleeping arrangements for the furry friends. The house is located very conveniently and we were a walk away from anything we needed. Could not recommend enough and will definitely be booking again for our next SPI trip!

Our stay was right on track. The split level allowed for
some privacy among the group. We were very happy with
the pet friendly accommodations. Arlene was very receptive to our needs and issues. Great one on one communication. Would definitely book this property in the future.

The property was wonderful for our family vacation. Grandparents stayed in the downstairs apartment and were able to escape from the craziness of the family, lol. Yard was absolutely beautiful and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed it.
Everything we needed to prepare meals was in the kitchen. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans, etc. Brand new charcoal grill, they even provided charcoal and lighter fluid.
Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels, beach toys and a little beach wagon.
Owners are next door and available for any questions.

Arlene was absolutely amazing to work with! She was very welcoming to us as print breakers. Her house had everything you could ever need on vacation. The house was in a nice location within the island. Would definitely come back and recommend Arlene!

A group of friends and I have stayed here each October for three years in a row now. Great location, lots of room, the house is always clean, and the hosts are friendly and easy to work with. Add in the very fair prices and it’s everything you could ask for in a short term rental.

Walkable to the beach and close to everything. It was quiet and clean and couldn’t have asked for anything more. No problems at all.

My daughter and friends absolutely loved their time at the house. They had the whole bottom level to themselves while the adults and the dogs were able to have the space upstairs. There was definitely plenty of room for a group of 10.
It was an easy walk to the beach and the bayside was only a few steps away.
I would definitely recommend this house.

This was our first time to SPI. Arlene made the process very easy. She greeted us at checkin and covered all the details for the house. She gave us great recommendations on local beaches and restaurants.

Property is comfortable. Decor is a little dated but it’s clean, large enough for a big family with pets. Fenced in yard was a huge plus for our two dogs. Arlene was very nice and attentive and was ready to address any concerns or needs if we had them. Would definitely rent again.

The owners of the property are the BEST!! Communication was always open with the owner during our stay. She is from the area and even though I visit SPI every year she had some really good tips. I love that you have access to the garage. Most places lock them up. It made it very easy to load and unload for a day at the beach. It was almost like having two separate condos in one the way the layout is. The backyard is beautiful and secure for pets. I went back to work and told everyone about it.

We LOVED everything about our pink house! It was very clean and beautiful. Close to everything; the beach, shopping, restaurants. We rented golf carts and drive down to the Ferris wheel to see the fireworks. Great place to stay. You won’t be disappointed!

Clean home with a beautiful backyard! Especially nice since we were able to bring our spaniels on vacation with us. Owner was very friendly and gave us a tour of the property upon check in! Bonus if you love bird watching since their is a birdhouse in the backyard!

This is an outstanding place for all ..but especially for a large family with pets. The property couldn't be more well suited to accommodate most any family or situation. If you thought the pictures solidified the place just wait until you get there! This vacation home was nothing short of amazing. A quick walk to the Bay Area, & minutes from everything else. Fully stocked kitchen so you can buy groceries & cook if you’re staying for a couple days. There’s an upstairs & downstairs & each floor has a bathroom which made things very convenient when coming home from the beach so minimal messes were made. I’m definitely booking again for our next padre trip!

The place was in a great location...in walking distance to the beach..the home itself was spacious and served us well for the time we were there. Really did love the spacious kitchen. Home owner was really informative and helpful.
Only negative we found with the home was one of the bedrooms had a really bad fishy smell to it. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay there on the island. Thank you.

Perfect for our family get away
Our family really enjoyed staying at this location. There were plenty of spots for everyone to sleep. The kitchen was big enough and well stocked to accommodate our large family. The yard and back patio were great for relaxing after a long day on the beach. The manager answered all the questions we had and was happy to help with anything we needed. She made us feel welcome, which we loved! We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Best vacation ever!
The property was incredible. We've done other beach trips and paid the same price for a tiny condo. This place left plenty of room for our kids to have space to run in the backyard but also relax in our separate family groups after the long beach days. Arlene was incredible to communicate with - she gave us a personal tour of the amenities to ensure we were comfortable and gave us so many great recommendations (you weren't wrong about that shrimp at Wanna Wanna!) We will absolutely be back to spend another vacation here before the end of the year! Thank you so much Arlene for making our weekend so perfect!

This property was perfect and just what we needed for us and our kids. The fenced in back yard is great, and gives the perfect amount of privacy and security for the kids. The pictures of the place, don’t do it justice. It is very clean and very spacious.The property manager is amazing, she is easy to communicate with and greets you at the property, when you arrive, gives you a tour and has multiple recommendations of places to visit and things to do. We went memorial weekend, so the town was a bit busy, but a great, clean, comfortable environment.

Arlene was a very helpful, and attentive hostess. The unit has lots of room, and the space in the backyard and large garage was much appreciated for storage of kite boarding gear.
