We had a wonderful stay, great location. The only down side was we thought the upstairs rooms had two twins each, instead one had a queen but we made it work. We will definitely be back!

We loved everything about Harbor View Cottage. The kitchen was well equipped. The furniture was comfortable. We loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying the harbor view. The location is easily walkable to the ferry, shopping & restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!!

We love the location of Keith & Sheri's house. It's nice to be able to walk into town, the lighthouse or just sit on the porch watching the ferry come & go. The location also offers a beautiful sunset view on the water and an easy drive to Donegal Bay for the sunset. We appreciate that the house was clean and the bed comfortable, and that the the kitchen and bathrooms have been updated. Keith, thank you for your responsiveness and we look forward to staying again on future visits!

The weather was very nice there. The cottage was very cozy and nice. The communication with the owners was very nice. If we needed anything they were there for us. We have been to beaver island two years in a row. You cannot get enough of the island. We maybe back again. Thank you for the wonderful stay

This cottage is a solid home base if you’re exploring Beaver Island for the first time, or any time. Spacious, nice view of the bay, walking distance to the Whiskey Point Brewery, the market for groceries, and the small marine museum is almost directly across the street. It’s a 2-minute drive from the rest of the shops and dining Beaver has to offer. Aside from our mattress being pretty far gone, the cottage is comfortable and has everything you’ll need to stay for a few days or longer. Highly recommend!

Book the cottage!!! Everything was very clean Keith and Sherry thought of everything we could need while on the island! The location is perfect. Very close to you the downtown area, grocery store, etc. we had the best vacation. The cottage is updated with new appliances. I cannot say one bad thing. We had an amazing week on Beaver Island and just cannot say enough good things about the Harbor View Cottage! Location is perfect (views of Harbor are truly amazing), the house was super clean and stocked with everything we needed. Hope to go back again soon! Highly recommend this rental!

My family had a wonderful time staying in this beach cabin on Beaver Island! Lots of places to sit and gather for meals and games and comfortable beds/bedrooms. Close to town to walk for groceries or food. We've never been to Beaver Island before, but we plan to be back- and we would stay here again!

We had a very nice stay at the Harbor View house. It is definitely one of the best house views of St. James Bay! The host had the house stocked with everything our family needed, so the only things we had to bring were our food, clothes and personal care items. We opted to bring our bikes and our car to get around the entire island but this house is within walking distance of the beautiful Whiskey Point lighthouse, grocery store, brewery, delicatessen, beach, hardware store, e-bike rentals and hiking trails. We’ve been to Beaver Island many times over the years but never stayed in town. Staying in town offered a new, neat perspective compared to the more remote and rustic places we’ve stayed and camped in the past. The host was great and made sure we got settled okay, and let us know who to contact for questions or issues but we didn’t end up having any. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice house in town with a great view!

My family and I were so excited at the opportunity to stay at this home for the week as it previously was the home that my grandfather was born and grew up in. No one in my immediate family has been in the home in over 50 years and we were eager to see how it had been updated. Keith and Sheri have done an incredible job of renovating the cottage while maintaining the original harbor character of the home which we appreciated! The location is perfect as it is right across from the Marine Museum and being within easy walking distance of McDonough’s grocery store, Dalwhinnie’s (one of our favorite restaurants for breakfast and lunch), the Toy Museum, and Whiskey Point Brewing Company. We had no issues during our stay but even still Keith and Sheri were very communicative to ensure the stay met our expectations. We’re already thinking about our next visit to the island and it feels guaranteed that we will try to stay here again!

Well let me just start by saying it was the most amazing trip we've ever been on the property owners were delight they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome the views are breathtaking the people are very sweet and accommodating this is one of the first of many times we will come back and a great big thank you to Brianna for going and getting wine and chocolates for me and my husband for this was our one year anniversary and our honeymoon because we did not get to have a honeymoon we loved everything

We loved the coziness of the cottage. Perfect for what we wanted. We spent all day exploring the island, and came back to a nice place to warm up sleep. The couch is uncomfortable to sit on. But the view is worth adding an extra pillow.

This is a lovely little house within walking distance of downtown. Amazing views of the bay with a deck to soak in the sunsets. The hosts provided everything we needed and were very accommodating when we needed to adjust our schedule. Some aspects of the house were a little out dated or in need of cleaning, but overall it was perfect for our needs.

We really enjoyed our week in this property. The house location is awesome, 8 minute walk to the lighthouse, 4 minutes to McDonough's and 15 to Daddy Frank's! The kitchen was very spacious and the rooms were comfortable. We loved sitting and eating on the front porch and enjoying the stars.

There were a few hiccups in the beginning but the care, compassion, and good communication with Keith and Sherry helped to mitigate our concerns to make our stay an overall positive experience.

Cozy Beaver Island Home
Enjoyed our stay on the island in the cozy home with bay views. Sip a hot cup of tea and watch the boats sail and dock from the front porch. It’s a quick walk to the Brewery, Dalwhinnies, McDonoughs Market, the Marine Museum and the Toy Museum.

Warm & Inviting
We had a wonderful stay. The first floor kitchen and bath has recently been remodeled. The kitchen is very pretty, and has all new appliances. The living room looks out onto the harbor and you can watch the ferry and boat traffic all day long. The three bedrooms fit our family just right, and the additional full bath upstairs came in very handy. I would definitely recommend this home for those planning a visit to Beaver Island.

This property has it all. The perfect location within walking distance to all the town has to offer. The view of the harbor is mesmerizing. To top it off the house is completely renovated with all the comforts of home!

Excellent View and Location!
This was our second year staying on Beaver Island. This is a fantastic location. Easily walk into town or to the lighthouse.
We set up croquet in the front yard and had plenty of space to play.
The first floor of the house has been recently updated, and has plenty of space to entertain. The top floor works well as a bunk house for kids.

Relaxing Comfort
View, location and amenities were very generous. We were amazed at the space and the decks. Such an interesting place. Kitchen was stocked to the max and included many pieces to spark great conversations. Diverse collection of books. It was a very happy for us and we would stay again.

This cottage was very clean, and had a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the decks (front and back), and the great view of the harbor. Being able to walk to the grocery store, deli/coffee shop, brew pub, and toy museum was nice.

What a wonderful time we had at this property. We might have been one of the first renters of the year as there was no toiletries or kitchen food staples, but we left some! The view and the deck were spectacular. The house was furnished nicely and had plenty of things like towels, washcloths, etc. Thank you for a great vacation!
