It was a lst minute change of plans. We rented this house so we could be close to my Fiances parents house for Thanksgiving. It was a bit overkill since it was just us and our 2 teenagers, plus my daughters BF. The location is great. Literally at the top of ski run BLVD like 500 feet from the Heavenly Parking lot. The house was very well equipped The indoor pool was pretty amazing The pool table was a hit with the kids The theater was really nice Lots of appliances and towels and amenities

John & Sylvia we’re great hosts and very accommodating to our family and additional requests. The location is great in that it is a very short drive to all the action of South Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed our stay. The only minor drawback was that the downstairs did not have air conditioning while the upstairs did. Needless to say, it was nice to hang out & sleep upstairs. Other than that, we had a great time!

We had a wonderful experience, and plan on booking again on our next trip. Large kitchen, totally stocked. Heated indoor pool was awesome. The door to the pool room locked so I felt very safe with my toddler wandering around the house. Lots of fresh snow upon arrival, but everything was plowed, and easily accessible. LOVED the movie room with lounge chairs. Perfect way to unwind after a long day playing in the snow. The location is awesome! You can walk to the lake in like 20min. Safeway/stateline/Riva grill are all just a 5min drive. Book this spot! You'll be happy you did...

This home is indeed Heavenly!!! A lovely place with amazing amenities! We left behind something very important to my family and the host was above and beyond accommodating!!! The personal touches were over the top! A must book!

My family came to Lake Tahoe to celebrate our parents' 40 year marriage vow renewal. There were 16 of us at the house: my 5 adult siblings, their teenage children, a 9-yr old and a 4-mnth old. The house was great for people of all ages and centrally located between the ski resort, public beaches and city of South Lake Tahoe including easy access to a grocery store and shopping. We also went rafting with the Truckee River Raft Co., about an hour drive away.

Was perfect for our family vacation. Everyone had their own space. And being able to see the lake from the top deck was amazing.

We had a lot of fun. The pool was perfect, as well as the wet steam and dry saunas. The media room was perfect for our large crowd. All the amenities provided was overwhelming. A perfect rental for all ages.

Location! Location ! Location! This large, lovely home was perfect for our family ski vacation after Christmas. We all enjoyed the amenities of this spacious house surrounded by trees. We loved having the pool table in the living room, the big home theater with recliners, the hot tub & sauna, and a couple of us swam laps in the indoor pool! It was wonderful to be able to walk to the Eldorado National Forest for sledding and snowshoeing with beautiful views of Lake Tahoe. It was a very quick 5 minute drive to gorgeous Heavenly Ski Resort and to town. Just a perfect house to relax after our outdoor fun, cook meals, and enjoy our time together! John was quickly responsive to any questions and made sure to have the snow removed from the driveway when we arrived after the huge snow storm.

The property was just as advertised. We had a little problem with the media room devices, but the owner was very responsive via text and we were connected with a technician who walked us through the issue and helped solve the problem. The main area is fantastic for hanging out in the evenings. Fireplace was nice. Only 2 blocks from California Lodge. Not really walkable, but very accessible. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to Tahoe.

It was very nice and quiet. We enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. The location is great, still close to a lot of things to do but far enough away where it's quiet at night. We would stay again.

This was a family trip of 13. All our children and grandchildren have been planning this get together for two years. We had to cancel last year due to COVID but this year (August 2021) the entire family was able to travel to Lake Tahoe for an absolutely wonderful trip. The house was absolutely perfect. We chose it because of the amenities. A terrific indoor pool for the children and family to use since we knew the waters of Lake Tahoe can be cold and it gave us an option should we have any bad weather. In addition to the pool, we had a hot tub and a huge movie theater with reclining seats. We were at the house the first week of August which was perfect timing to be able to not only watch movies in the theater but to also watch the Olympics in Japan on the large screen. There was also a nice pool table that the children and adults seem to always be using. Best of all, I have to remark that John and Sylvia Loh were the best hosts I have ever dealt with. From the time we started to plan this trip John Loh was always available and provided great information on things to see and do in Lake Tahoe, made suggestions for things we should consider as a family, and answered questions we had on the house to make our stay perfect. He was always quick to respond at any time. I really liked dealing with John, and when I asked unusual questions he always had great suggestions. For instance, each evening someone in my family was always cooking dinner in the beautiful kitchen and so my wife and I decided we would try something new and hire a chef for the first time to make dinner one evening for the entire family. We had never done this before and so I asked John if he had any ideas. He provided me with a list of people that other guests had used who I contacted, and the one we chose was great. In fact it was the high point of the trip according to our children and grandchildren. We even hired a professional photographer to take family photos on the property amongst the beautiful trees to capture family memories. If you are considering a family vacation, Lake Tahoe is one of the best places to visit with all the beautiful hikes, parks, lake, etc. And this house owned and hosted by John and Sylvia Loh, is the place to stay. It is a wonderful home, very comfortable and not lacking in any comfort you can imagine. We highly recommend this place in South Lake Tahoe near Heavenly.

Amazing place and location. So many great amenities like hot tub, theater, billiards table, and indoor pool. Close to the lake and the mountains as well. I couldn't have asked for a better vacation home in Lake Tahoe!

Fabulous house. Property owners were easy to deal with. With COVID-19 situation we had to re schedule twice and they were very flexible. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location to town. Bedrooms are comfortable and bathrooms very good. Kitchen well stocked with what was needed We would stay again anytime. Only thing I would suggest is a little TLC needs to be done. Some cabinet doors in the kitchen need it. I would hate to see abuse by those who rent and don’t care. FYI. Owner was quick to respond and checked in with us before and after stay.

Our children & grandchildren loved the pool, hot tub, pool table, & media room. The house is so roomy! Has everything you would need for a vacation home & more!

We had a blast here while staying for 3 nights in March. We booked this property with 2 more families, all of us with 2 young children each and the place was wonderfully accommodating for our needs. It was safe, fun and extremely relaxing, the owners were communicative and pleasant. Overall 5/5 no doubt!

The house was impeccable and we had a great time!

We took a trip with our immediate family to show our son the snow for the first time and to get out of our own home. We had a truly wonderful time. The home is as advertised, lovely and big, with lots of fun amenities. We loved the pool, steam shower, sauna, hot tub and movie theater. The hosts are responsive and great to work with. We would happily return, maybe with a bigger party, in the future!

This house was perfect for our group. We loved that our big group had different places be around the house(hot tub, pool, theater or playing pool). It is very close to California lodge but you still have to drive to parking & ski. Parking lot was not so full so it was very convenient. During our stay, we had a few concerns but John responded right away & took care of it. One of the kids left their stuffy behind & John quickly responded & had it shipped. Totally didn’t have to but so nice of them to do.

Great location and ample parking. Perfect for a multi-family ski trip to heavenly. Well maintained with attention to details (e.g., extra hdmi cable for the living room TV). Having the extra dining table is a big plus, and recliners in the theatre are comfy. Some minor areas for improvement: some cookwares in the kitchen could use a refresh, and more paper towels would be nice.

The property was amazing. It was perfect for our family members and everyone was truly impressed. We all plan on staying again but next time for a longer vacation.

Comfortable and nice amenities. Rare to have an indoor pool in Tahoe. Very nice stay and we had gotten lots of asks from people about this home when posting on social media. Just read up on the Tahoe ordinances (it's not the owners but the city) on rentals as this is a topic right now and may change/evolve. Owners are terrific and responsive.

Everything was perfect!

Property was as promised. Clean and well stocked. Property managers even checked mid-week to see if we needed any additional supplies. Best part of property was the quick and easy access to the property managers. Having questions answered immediately is a great luxury for rentals of this nature. We would highly recommend this property if your travel plans include South Lake Tahoe.

John was super helpful and easy to work with. We came to Tahoe for the American Century golf tournament and this location was perfect as it was right down the stream from the marina / boat rental. It is a very private, clean cabin with all the amenities a large group would need. the indoor pool was very enjoyable.

This home is absolutely beautiful and was exactly as described. Perfect vacation home!
