Great location! Perfect for 2 couples.
Quick walk, block and 1/2, to Tourmaline Surf Park. 2 blocks to specialty grocery store, Oscars incredible taco shop, good Hawaiian food. Walk to La Jolla.
Beach gear provided a little worn.
Comfy beds, plenty of room for 2 couples.
Very busy road, noisy with windows open.
Nice table, chairs, umbrella in back yard with gas BBQ.

This home is conveniently located near Tourmaline Beach (walking distance) as well as several restaurants and shops. The home is located on a busy street so be careful when backing out of the driveway especially when there are cars parked on the street that can obstruct your view. Also the driveway curb doesn't line up with the garage, so you'll have to park diagonally on the driveway. We found all of the items listed on the inventory list for the house in the garage, including boogie boards, wagons, beach chairs, etc. There is no air conditioning but it was a cooler weekend when we visited so we did not have any issues with temperature. The house has three bedrooms and one of the bedrooms has double bunk beds which are great for families with kids. There are two bathrooms (one in the master bedroom and one in the hallway). The property manager was responsive to our inquiries before and during our stay. The master bedroom bed was comfortable but the queen bed in the second bedroom was not quite as comfortable. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would recommend this house if you're looking for a home that's located close to the beach and other amenities.

The owner of this property was very communicative and responsible of all of our requests. Unfortunately, the house is not as clean as we had hoped. Additionally when we did try to use the barbecue, it ran completely out of gas. The additional gas bottle left beside the barbecue was also empty.

Property was fantastic! Great location just blocks from Tourmaline Beach, restaurants and bars. House was very well appointed with everything that we needed for a 5 week stay. Backyard was great! Our host Juliana was great communicating with us and providing neighborhood recommendations. We would love to stay at this property again!!

We stayed for four nights. House is nice and clean. It seems to be close to everything. Our farthest drive was 20 minutes. Back yard was nice for the dogs. Would and probably will stay again.

All you need in a great location.
An actual stand-alone house with closed-off backyard - great for our pups. A little off location, so it's quiet, but not far off so that bars, restaurants, stores, beach are all in walkable distance (4-20 mins).
And the fastest, nicest responding owner we ever had.

The location was perfect! The house was comfy, clean, and a nice completely fenced in yard for our yorkie. The owner was so nice and accommodating. We walked to the beach, town, and restaurants. We uber'd from there easily as well.

We enjoyed our stay at the tourmaline house. The house was clean, comfortable and homey. The young kids (21/2 year old twins) loved the backyard and eating outside. There were wagons in the garage that they rode in to the beach which is a very walkable distance. This house was close to everything. The location is great.

Very new and nice interior. Very clean and comfortable. Garage will fit a Honda civic or similar. My F150 was too tall and big.
Area is wonderful. The mission Blvd has city bus and traffic but fairly quiet considering its location on street. The beautiful bushes in yard block out the neighbors apartment building. Nice place to have morning coffee. Definitely a nice place. Had to check in late due to cleaning crew delay but we went to a local park for a few hours.

I live a few blocks away and family came to visit, knowing the area I can say that this is a prime spot! Away from the noise but close enough to walk anywhere you need. The proximity to the beach was great and more of a local beach rather than next to the pier with tourists. The space was comfy and perfect and we loved the backyard. Great space to play and hangout. Would definitely stay here again and the host was very responsive to questions and had wagons, beach toys, etc.

Everything about this beach home contributes to having the best vacation! In a great neighborhood, the house is so clean and has plenty of space for your family! After a long day of fishing or sightseeing you’ll find the beds so comfortable and the tasteful coastal deco instantly relaxing. A spacious kitchen allows everyone to gather, cook and enjoy mealtimes. Not to mention the beautiful bathrooms that provide ample room to get ready each morning! Juliana, the host is so thoughtful and sends many ideas for you to visit before your trip, several in which we tried and enjoyed! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, we had the best time and feel so rejuvenated.

This could be an ok property if they fixed so many things... broken screens, towel holders, broken and chipped kitchen items. Dirty, old coffee pot.
Not working: Ice maker, Bathroom tub diverter, no cold water in one bathroom faucet, garage remote. No Kleenex and only 3 days worth of dishwashing detergent. Dirty old fans for air circulation. Don't stay here if these items are not addressed.

Wonderful time with family in North Pacific Beach (San Diego), CA., only 3 blocks from the ocean. Property provided just about all the stuff and toys to enjoy the beach and within walking distance of most needs and attractions. Adequately stocked kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, indoor and outdoor dining tables and chairs. Comfortable beds but recognize house is on a main drag so there is some street noise during the evenings.

Great time on Pacific Beach
The house was perfect for what we needed during our trip. It was great to come back to the house and open the windows to invite a cool breeze why we relaxed after a day at the beach or walking around.
The neighborhood was nice and had a number of food options within walking distance.
We would stay here again.

Great Family Vaca Home!
This home was terrific for a family with toddlers. Great outdoor space and enough room for all of us to enjoy our time together without feeling crowded. Juliana was more than accommodating and quick to respond when we had the need to communicate. Good experience all around!

Great Location
The property is only a 5 minute walk from the beach and close to restaurants yet far enough from the bars to be not too loud. The only issue we had was with some stubborns ants and a couple of roaches the last week we were there. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable. It has a nice, small outdoor area too.

Wonderful home near La Jolla in great location
Four college friends gathered for a week in the perfect home with 3 bedrooms and a secluded back yard! It was a great location close to beach, shopping and wonderful restaurants!

Good location and fenced yard.
Overall the space was great and location good. It was a couple of blocks walk to the beach, down a fairly steep hill. Loved the French Gourmet restaurant a few blocks away. We had dogs with us, so the fenced yard made things easy for us.

Lovely place close to the beach
We’ve stayed here on multiple occasions and always enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for 2 couples and our dog. Love that it’s so close to the beach so we can walk the dog on the beach in the mornings or evenings. Juliana is always quick and helpful with responses.

Comfortable, convenient accomodations
House suited our family of 4 very well. Kids loved the boogie boards and sand toys that were available in the garage. Enjoyed our timing biking the beach path which was nearby. Also took advantage of takeout from many of the great restaurants within a few blocks of the house. Upscale grocery store a couple of blocks away was super convenient.

Perfect home for our family trip. We were very close to the beach, good restaurants and grocery store. Enjoyed the two bikes and beach chairs available in garage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in PB. Will rent this home again.

Great house!
This house was very clean and beautiful. It is very close to the beach, just a walk away. But if you are bringing all the sand toys and chairs and anything heavy it’s easy to drive down to drop things off and then take the car back and walk. My niece and nephew loved the bunk beds and toys there! The whole house fan system was fabulous. The house is right on the main road so pulling in and out of the driveway was a little difficult but not necessary too much because of the fabulous location. Restaurants just right up the road also walking distance. The ice cream sandwich place was amazing! Host was very helpful and sent information about location in advance!

Great location and privacy
Wonderful week in San Diego. The house has a great location. Walking distance to both the lively vibrant section of Mission Avenue and the quieter, family section. The house was very comfortable and well appropriated. Large, airy bedrooms and a comfortable common area ensure the whole family had a great time. The only concern was that the only smoke alarm in the house failed…smoke alarms/carbon monoxide detectors should be installed up to code in each bedroom.

Perfect Staycation with pup and teens
This property was perfect for my kids and our dog. We stayed for 15 nights and we didn’t want to leave. The house is light and clean, the decor is tasteful, the backyard is great, the garage was convenient, and driveway was great for parking. The location is perfect, just north of all the bustle of PB but quick walk to the beach , the grocery store and multiple fun and delicious food options. This was the perfect VRBO. I will definitely rent again and I am local! We moved to another rental property within 2 miles and we wanted to return to this property. The host was very responsive and we had zero issues during our stay. Highly recommend.

Great stay in Pacific Beach
This home was exactly as pictured and very clean! There were plenty of things for us to use at the beach (sand toys, chairs, boogie boards, a wagon). The yard was a nice bonus for us. The beach is a short walk away- we walked south a block or two and walked through the neighborhood to access the beach. The beach is less rocky if you go towards the pier a bit. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and there is a grocery store one block north that was very convenient. We would definitely stay at this home again in the future!

Great property, short walk to the beach
This location is great; just a 2 block walk to Tourmaline beach and a short walk to restaurants and farmers market. The house is quiet, clean, modern and comfortable. On-site parking helpful. This is our second stay and we will definitely keep renting when we come to San Diego.
