We chose this location for its proximity to the Vail Jazz Party at Manor Vail Lodge. The condo met our expectations except that we had trouble with the heating because the baseboards were not turned on and the one portable heater was insufficient for the space. We finally got an addition heater from the management which solved the heating problem. Without knowing which sockets were on the same circuit we did trip a circuit breaker resulting in loss of the WiFi. I was able to fix the problem after I realized that the breaker had tripped.
Also, the toilet was still loose even after maintenance said that they had fixed it.
We consistently had trouble unlocking and locking the front door, it usually worked on the third or fourth try.
Suggest a reading lamp on both sides of the bed, the one standing lamp is very unstable, and I couldn't tighten it up.
Thank you.

Overall it was a nice place and the location was perfect for dropping kids to ski school. 5 minute walk to Golden Peak. There are a set of stairs going down to the unit and no elevator, so anyone with a handicap, beware. Also, there was quite a bit of confusion over where to park. The instructions say to park anywhere but we received text messages asking us to move our car and a knock at the door from a neighbor claiming we were in her spot. Later, the property manager clarified the official HOA rules and said we could park anywhere but we had already taken the time to move anyway. The laundry room across the hall from the unit was super convenient and we loved the little outdoor patio off of the living room. Great value!

Overall- prime location and you can’t beat the price. It’s much bigger than they let on in the listing. Bed was comfy. Would stay again but there were some cons-
The lock on the doorknob in the bathroom was broken
There is no fan in the bathroom and the slats on the ceiling were broken
The fan in the kitchen makes a HORRIBLE squeeling sound so loud that, until we figured out what it was and turned it off, neither of us could sleep
Communication was very, very bad. Took more than 2 days to answer a question prior to check in and at one point I had to call VRBO because the communication was so bad that I thought the listing might have been fake and we were going to be ghosted or cancelled last minute
When we messaged both the property owner and maintenance about the fan issue it took them until the next day to respond and at that point we had just dealt with it ourselves.
The electrical system is BAD. Multiple outlets didn’t work - in fact we could only find 2 electrical outlets that actually did work and share them to charge our devices and even then they would only work with certain cords or power blocks and it took all night to charge 1 phone. If you end up booking here- the top socket for the plug above the microwave and the bottom socket for the one to the left of the sink are your best bets.

Loved that the doors opened to a small backyard patio & the sight & sounds of the creek!

Clean and comfortable.
So walkable. Ate most of our meals in Vail Village. Did walk over to Lionshead for dinner.
Short walk to Gondola One.
Will stay there again.
Excellent communication and helpful info from leasing agent

Pros: This location is excellent for access to Vail Village, Gondola One, or Golden Peak. I parked my car and never drove it again for the whole week! The unit is well equipped with all the essentials and it has a pretty view! Property management is EXCELLENT and VERY easy to communicate with and respond very quickly. A++++!!
Con: There seemed to be a fairly strong mildew odor in the bedroom. I ended up sleeping on the couch the whole time. It wasn’t a big deal since it was just me and I notified management toward the end of my stay and they immediately replied and said they would check it out after I left, which I was fine with.
I will definitely stay here again and hopefully the odor is taken care of!

Nice place
There is a lot of clutter, very few electrical outlets, and the bedside lamp stands are about to collapse. But, for the price it is a great location and very conveniently located. We would stay again.

Ski condo
Short walk to Golden Peak. Condo appliances were a bit outdated and small, although kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc... overall, it was a good little place for the value.

Cool little spot!
Great location! Quick walk to the Gondola and lifts, as well as to Vail village. Parking spot right out front. Kitchen has everything you need. Unit stayed warm and comfortable the whole time. Yes, you hear the pipes make noise. Didn't bother us though. Only gripe, couldn't get the DVD player to work. Overall, highly recommend for a budget friendly place in Vail!

Everything for the most part was nice. However, you could use a fan in the bathroom. There were two switches but the second one did nothing.
The knocking of the pipes seems to come from the neighbors property since it occurred when the heat was off in the unit so there's not much that can be done about that (the dehumidifier did help drone it out).
It would be nice to have some place to store our luggage since the flight to JFK doesn't leave until the afternoon (11:50 pick up by shuttle) and checkout was at 10. We just left them in the hall outside the unit which isn't ideal but I guess works.

Great condo.
Great location for ski and access to village area. Parking was right in front of the condo. Overall very nice for a quick get away weekend. Plenty of room for the 4 of us.

The place was great! Perfect spot and all the amenities a couple would need.

Great place to stay!
Very close to everything! Only about a two minute walk to Vail Village. I noticed other people stated that the heater makes strange noises...I noticed barely. If you have ever had radiator heaters growing up it's not a big deal.

GREAT LOCATION, COMFORTABLE CONDO
This was a great find. Just one block off the Vail Village and backs right up to Gore Creek.. It was comfortable and clean, just a bit dated but it was perfect for us. Even the sofa sleeper was comfortable.
My only "heads up" would be the kitchen. It was well stocked but very small. Really only one person could be in it at a time. If you're planning to cook for a whole family for you entire stay, it may be a bit tight in there.
The management company was very attentive and had great communication. We would definately stay here again.

Ski Trip
Excellent location, easy walking distance to the lift. Nice and clean, no surprises in the condo.

The condo was unclean, made plumbing related noises day and night. Smelled like it was smoked in.
Very undesirable property. Smelly, dirty bathroom, missing cabinets, extremely noisy all hours of the night. I will never stay at this property ever again nor will I ever use Berkshire Hathaway ever again. Towels were old and looked really dirty, kitchen utensils were old, unclean, didn’t look sanitary. Really just a pathetic condo which would be more appropriate in a 3rd world country but no Vail.

Convenient and cozy place for a skiing trip
We stayed in this apartment for a week in Aden for a skiing trip. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation in this cozy apartment.
Positives: quiet, cozy, warm, well stocked kitchen, relatively modern decor, movie options with functional DVD, comfortable beds, close to Golden Peak lift and vail village.
Some areas that could be improved: there is some clicking sounds from the pipes in evening although it did not disturb us much; we used the air mattress one night but it leaked most of its air in one evening; it’s a downstair unit which created a little challenge in handling luggage and food, but it’s manageable even for my 4-yr old girl.
We will go back next time we go back to vail and will recommend this apartment to friends.

You get what you pay for
I should have trusted my instinct. The price was too good to be true. Well it was about $125 a night less than what we are used to paying for comparable sized condos during dec / jan. in Vail village. They failed to disclose that there was major knocking and pinging in the pipes that will definitely keep you up all night! When I told them about it, they said that it was in the reviews! Well reviews aren't a substitute for disclosure. Had we been told, there is no way I would have booked this place. Also, just a few days in, the toilet overflowed leaving me to clean up the mess. In the managers defense, they did return my call about both issues promptly and they did bring me new towels the next day to replace the ones that I had to use to mop up the mess. There was a missing cabinet door in the kitchen that had a note on it saying the previous tenants had a mishap and they were fixing it. They never came to replace the door. One of the shower doors gets stuck so very inconvenient to get in and out of the shower. The airbed leaked so my 6 year old woke up on the floor every morning. The only true convenience about the unit was the fact that the laundry room was right in front so it was easy to do laundry. If you are looking for cheap and don't mind not getting a good nights rest then this is a good choice. Other than that, I would not recommend.

Condo was clean, location was excellent (approximately 300 footsteps to golden peak lodge)
It is an older property, but furnishings were up to date, kitchen was well equipped. The pull out sofa bed was comfortable. Would definitely rent this location again

Nice location, Clean, Cozy
It located very convenient place. We are able to walk to the amphitheater, Vail Village. Easy access from the freeway. The room has nearly everything we need and clean although it is an old building. TV does not have a signal (DVD works).
Definitely, we will go back again!

Great space. Bed uncomfortable, mattress sunken in on right side.

Great location to town and Gore creek!
Loved the location -- easy to walk to town, Ford Field and paths by the creek. Loved the back window opening to Gore creek. Quiet inside and out. Parking ideal. Condo a little dated but good seating and plenty of room. Slightly musty smelling because of being downstairs. Wasn't aware we had a flight of stairs to get down to our room which was a challenge for the heavy bags and cooler. We made it work but it should be noted no elevator etc. No pool but knew that going in. We loved our stay! Would book this place again. It felt like a home.

Easy in easy out
Great place for an easy stay. Accessible to everything. Quiet. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Not luxury but very comfortale. One of the sliding doors on the shower was stuck, but I’m sure that can be fixed. Prior rating said there was a load noise. I wonder whether this was the bathroom fan, which whined,. We just turned it off.

Excellent location/proximity to Vail village.
The reviews about the noises from the pipes are definitely true and it does wake you up at night. Other than that, the stay was great. Cozy place. It was just my wife and I and we appreciated the close proximity to everything and the included parking space! The loud pipes were about the only thing that really bothered us.

Dated Condo but a Great value in a Great Location
Great value in a Great Location. Well equipped condo in the heart of Vail Village. Close to Golden Peak andGondola One . Town Tennis courts are around the corner and Gore Creek is out the back door.

Great location
The unit is small but well equipped and worked well for a couple. The seating and bed very comfortable. The location couldn't have been more convenient. We were in Vail for the Dance Festival and it was a short walk to the amphitheater as well as to restaurants/shops - and right next to the pickle ball courts. After our first day, we never had to use our car. The decor a little tired (both common areas and unit itself).
