The Peninsula Vallarta property was pristinely clean, nicely equipped and right on the beach with a massive pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. The property manager, Oswaldo checked on us several times during our stay and was quick to react and solve the plumbing issue we had. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here with our three teenagers. The condo was lovely, spacious and well-stocked. The property manager was helpful and checked in frequently to see if we needed anything. We loved the location - right on the beach with restaurants, shopping and grocery stores within easy walking distance. The building has a nice gym and helpful security and staff. A few things to note - the condo is on the first floor so the ocean view is slightly obscured by the tops of palm trees. We didn’t mind and the view is still beautiful. The pool does not have nearly enough chairs for all of the guests in the buildings. If you weren’t at the pool by 9:30 you would not be able to find a chair. Also, There is waitstaff at the pool but they were few and far between and the one day we ordered food it took well over an hour to be delivered. You’re better off bringing a cooler with your own drinks and food. Lastly, the unit is right next to a loud night club. They only play on the weekends so it was peaceful during the week but on weekend nights it is very loud. You can’t hear it too much if you’re in the condo with the doors closed but if you want to sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean, you can’t. That said, we were completely pleased and would definitely rent this place again!

Loved the apartment and the facilities! Best pool in Puerto Vallarta! We stayed for 14 days. The service and good at the pool was a nice bonus. Prices were resonable Walked to many good restaurants and taxis were inexpensive to go downtown. Would stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Living and kitchen areas were huge. Property had some construction/maintenance work being done, but the huge pool was great and table service excellent.

Very good experience overall. There was a slight delay in check but otherwise no issues.
The apartment was well set up and very spacious. The only small issue was that the unit needs some more cleaning and the entrance door needs to be repaired since it is difficult to lock/unlock. The last day the air conditioning system vent in the kitchen started dripping and we reported this to the property manager. So the owner may want to do some minor repairs and upkeep to keep this property well maintained.
I look forward to staying there again when I visit PV next time.

We loved this place! Right in front of the ocean and we barely needed to use the aircon as there was always a breeze.
Very well equipped and stocked. Great to be able to have a massage in the apartment as well.

Apartment was spacious and nicely set up. Pool was expansive which prevented crowdedness. Property was well maintained. Gym facility was excellent, although due to COVID restrictions, appointments were required and all morning times were “reserved” although it appeared some never showed up to their reserved time.

Big pool so you have tons of room for yourself and others-Beach access and the best beaches near PV-Pool side drinks and food was incredible! Great price and very tasty Mexican food. You can really stay there all day, which we did. -The size of the condo was great. We only had 4 people, but can very comfortably have 6 people no problem. (bring house shoes or slippers though, the tile is hard on your feet. And you do a lot of walking inside since the condo is so big)-Location was just far enough away from PV to be quiet but close enough to take a taxi easily. (55ish peso for an Uber)-On site concierge is super helpful on restaurants and grocery stores and other local info. Cons:-Water heater sucks. 1 person cannot take a shower more than 3 minutes with hot water. Even though there are 3 bathrooms, everyone can't shower at once with hot water. -The trees are a little tall, so you can't whale watch from the balcony. -Beach club has loud music on the weekend. Thankfully, its only on the weekend and during the day.-Property manager is not very responsive to text. So if you need anything, you have to call. -No guests are allowed on the property if they do not have a "special" wrist band. So if you invite friends over, you need to tell the property manager, who will then call security. (Found that out the hard way)Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and will probably stay again. The pool and beach are easily the best parts of the property.

WFH/vacation
We are a family of 3. Like a lot of people during this crazy time, we are working and schooling remotely. This condo was the perfect size for all of us to have a private space for zoom calls and with a great view of the the beach and mountains. Due to the size of the condo, the WIFI is a bit week in the back bedrooms but the modem is in the unit and you are able to plug in extenders for better signal. We brought our own, knowing we needed reliable WIFI.
The pool is ginormous so social distancing was not an issue. Lots of seating with umbrellas. Poolside service is also available.
There were several units in this building available, but this unit was nicely priced and tastefully decorated. We also liked that it was on a lower level so we had the option to take the stairs and avoid sharing/waiting for elevator. The unit was also stocked with some basic necessities such as hand soap, cooking oil, sugar, S/P, TP... so check the cabinets before shopping.
Both the owner and property manager were responsive and great to interact with. Concierge was also great and helped us book several excursions as well as arrange for a rental car to be delivered and picked up to/from the property. They can also arrange for airport transportation.
There's also a sports bar, Starbucks, pharmacy and several banks/ATMs in the community. Grocery store, mall and restaurants were also within walking distance.
We would definitely rent again!

The condo and property are as described. We liked the added security of Tower 3 and being on a lower floor. The walking pool is the highlight of the property! We look forward to coming back.

Wonderful stay
The condo was wonderful and staff were very helpful. Our only issue was the water temperature for showers but that may be something out of the control of the owners. The hot water for showers were unpredictable. Otherwise, great kitchen supplies for eating in, location was good, towels galore, comfortable beds.

Gourgoues Beach Views from spacious condo
Well stocked, large 3 bedroom condo with stunning views of beach and mountains. Nice bathrooms, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, good bathrooms, nice linens. Super, Lovely pools (one is 150 meters long! Great for swim workout or reading book in waist deep water while overlooking waves and beach). Friendly staff. Great fitness center. Conveniently located ($4 Uber from airport). $21 massage (plus tip) was a great value.
Only downside was the brand new beach bar and club next door that had very loud dance music that greatly disturbed the tranquility of beach and pool. After complaining to the property manager (Oswaldo is fantastic!!), who talked to the club, the club turned down the music, buts it’s still too loud to have windows open (Friday to Sunday 1pm to 11pm club is open and playing loud music), and is an unwanted distraction if you’re not into club music. If the club music was nonexistent then this property would be a 5 rating.

Fantastic value in Zona Hotelera
Spouse and I did a ten-day stay at Andre's place in Peninsula Tower 3. This was ridiculously spacious for just two people, but the price was better than many smaller places we were looking at. Before I get to the pluses, which are many, full disclosure on a couple hiccups we had during our ten days. (1) Somebody on the sixth floor broke a water valve and our water was shut off for several hours while they fixed the issue. Not the condo owner's fault, and building management resolved it reasonably quickly. (2) There was construction going on directly to the south. which was sorta noisy when you have the deck doors open given that you're on the second floor. Shouldn't be an issue for future guests since the building (a restaurant, maybe?) progressed significantly WHILE WE WERE THERE. It'll probably be a nice amenity for future guests.
Now the good stuff. View is incredible. Pool is fantastic. Can get busy, but we never had a problem finding a chaise/cabana. Bonus, which I hadn't seen in any of my research -- they opened a pool bar in Tower 2 (Maggie's) and had servers roaming the pool area. Food, too, which wasn't bad. Of course, it's a condo, so you can BYOB to the pool (or the palapas/chaises out front on the beach), but Maggie's was a nice bonus. Exercise room on the first floor was great, too -- a little cramped, but good variety of machines, weights, and equipment.
Groceries are nearby -- Soriana is a half mile walk to the north, and uber/taxi back. We actually liked the Soriana to the south at Plaza Caracol -- shopping center with lots of local flavor...visit the empanada stand. Buy your water at the condo -- the concierge on the parking level will get you a 5-gallon jug for 30 pesos.
Restaurants/shopping nearby. La Isla just over the bridge to the south if you get the itch, including H&M if you forgot some clothes at home (guilty). Cross Blvd. Ascencio for more local flavor -- a couple good food trucks at Food Park PV, some good restaurants up Av. Fluvial (be prepared to hear a lot less English), and we LOVED Mariscos Ochos Tostadas, which is in the new development at the NE corner of Ascensio/Fluvial. They have a couple other locations, too...good drinks, and amazing seafood for ridiculously good prices. Shrimp tacos with queso...drool. Great service, nice atmosphere, Liga MX on TV, lots of locals.
Would definitely stay at Andre's again.

The Perfect Vacation
This was our family's first VRBO rental so we were understandably a bit nervous. But the rave reviews on Andre's condo sold me, and it did not disappoint. It was perfect in every way. The check-in process was seamless, and the condo itself, as others have noted, had absolutely everything we could possibly need. With 5 adults and one toddler there was plenty of room and the cupboard full of sand toys for the beach was a great touch! So was the washer and dryer (which were used almost daily), the upscale appliances, and the balcony - all I can say is "wow". The view from the kitchen island took my breath away every evening, and the sunrise from the master bedroom was a sight to behold. Loved the area the condo was in as well, we walked everywhere and had plenty of great dinners nearby. The grocery store was a 10-minute walk away and we easily hailed a cab to take us back with our groceries. And before I forget, the pool area was spectacular, easy to find chairs/loungers at almost any time of day, and the beach was amazing. It was great for our toddler to play in the sand and we really enjoyed the water and the waves. Best of all, the condo was on the second floor so we took the stairs most times and it was so convenient to the beach and pool. I am sure we will rent this condo again, and I highly recommend it!

Lovely spacious home away from home
We love this place. It was like going on your own vacation home. You have everything you will ever need. The check-in/check-out process was very easy. The view from the living room is amazing... you wake up with the sound of the waves all around. You can see the sunset from the living room and the sun rise from the 2 bedrooms. Easy access to the grocery store, mall and lots of lovely restaurants. We came before the holiday season and so still very tranquil. We had a lovely experience and plan to come back again. We highly recommend this condo.

Beautiful resort with stunning views!
This is a fabulous resort with everything a traveler wants. It offers beautiful views of the ocean with a pool that is always clean and comfortable. The resort is secured so that only visitors, renters, guests, and owners only have access.

Gorgeous view in beautiful Puerto Vallarta
Our family has a lovely time here. The reason I removed a star is because this condo is in tower 3 of the three peninsula towers and it has much stricter rules than the other two towers. We were vacationing with good friends who were staying in tower 2 and had a year ago (which is how we found out about this place) and the strict ‘no guests allowed’ rule even included them who were just next door. Frustrating for us because we both had little ones and grandparents available for babysitting but we couldn’t have them over for dinner or over for a nightcap after dinners out... regardless we coped (went to tower 2) but it was frustrating as I’ve never experienced this rule through a property rental. This is Probably not an issue for most if you are coming with just your group staying in the condo and no one else. But be careful if your coming with a larger group and renting a few condos.
There are some delicious restaurants nearby, a Costco, Soriana grocery store and a mall which makes it convenient to get anything you need. Highly recommend checking out Food Park for some ‘fancier’ food trucks. La Leche is an amazing restaurant as well. Loved our experience at the Saturday market in the old town center. Taxis are cheap and Uber even cheaper! Can’t say enough about the beautiful the pool and it is perfect for little kids, toddlers and even babies crawling because of all the shallow areas.

We loved the room, the workout center and the huge pool. Very friendly and helpful staff.
It was a great vacation for our family! The pool was a great place to hang on those days we didn't have excursions planned. Easy walk to the store and city buses available as well.
