This property is accurate to its listing. The views are some of the best I’ve ever seen and the home is perfect for a gathering of people wanting to enjoy each other’s company. I highly recommend this house if you are wanting experience Tahoe with once in a life time views of Lake Tahoe and surrounding forest.

We picked this property because it would give us an incredible view of Lake Tahoe (some of our family members have mobility issues and couldn't easily access the lake up close). Not only was it easy to find, but when we had issues accessing the property, Shanan was so prompt with helping us trouble shoot them. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with dishes/pots/pans/seasonings so we could comfortably cook multiple meals. The Hot Tub was very straightforward to use and such a nice way to wake up on a cold February morning. We also loved how close the house was to the downtown area and to snow activities. And, when it unexpectedly snowed the morning of our departure, every possible tool we could need to clear the driveway and our cars was easily accessible. Loved our stay and highly recommend it!

Wonderful week celebrating life with family! Plenty of room for 6 adults and 1 11 month old. Well equipped for the 11 month old great high chair, port a crib and regular crib! A good view of fireworks without going out into the craziness! Saw a deer, but no bears. Roads are twisty and the entrance into neighborhood took a little getting used to! Can’t wait to go back! The photos do not do the view justice.

What a marvelously situated base camp for exploring the Lake Tahoe area. The house is spectacular - exactly as pictured and described, except that the view is even better. The kitchen is spacious and well appointed, and the bedrooms/bathrooms are large, comfortable, quiet, and well supplied with linens. The deck and the lake view were magnets for our entire group every morning and evening. Shanan gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and a personal chef and was very responsive to every communication. We would highly recommend this property.

Hillcrest provides a fabulous wide-angle lens view of Lake Tahoe from upon a mountainside. The location is slightly north of the town, so one may enjoy the placidness of the forest or drive a short distance to be part of the nightlife of Stateline.
The house is designed for both group entertaining and spaces for individual rejuvenation. Safety features in place for toddlers, too. The home is outfitted with many creature comforts and then some: fully-stocked kitchen, high-end appliances (including a dry cleaner in the laundry room!), hot tub, beach equipment. Our 85-lb. German Shepherd enjoyed the ability to romp up and down the stairs. (There are a few beaches that dedicate a portion of the land to be dog-friendly.)
Our vacation was a combination of cooking our own meals and eating out. We did everything, and we did nothing. Hillcrest enabled us to to both -- and in style.

Zephyr Cove is a lovely part of Tahoe and the house is phenomenal! I stayed with some childhood friends and we had dinners on the patio overlooking the sunset. The location is great and Shanan is lovely to work with. I highly recommend this house!

The home is as pictured, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The views are extraordinary and the owners thoughtful. Our party consisted of six adults and two children. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Due to inclement weather, it was necessary for us to extend our stay an additional night which was considered a luxury by all. The owners were very accommodating, and the process was completed with ease. We especially appreciated the whole house generator and excellent WIFi as storms caused wide-spread utilities outages to the region, and we were completely unaffected. Those within our party that needed to check-in remotely for work were able to do so. Thank you, Shannon, for sharing your beautiful, efficient, luxurious home! Our time within created many lovely memories - it was a beautiful experience.

The location of this place is awesome. So close to south shore, grocery store, liquor store, everything. The view from this place is amazing. Great views from many rooms with huge windows. The home is insanely cool. The property has plenty of dishes, Tupperware, and everything you need to accommodate many people, which is nice. I've seen some places skimp on beer glasses, wine glasses, plates, etc, but this place has everything. Mega coffee options, a blender, a bunch of baby stuff like a crib/pack and play. This place is great. Would def stay here again.

The pictures do not do this wonderful home justice. My wife and our family stayed here for our wedding anniversary and her birthday. The house is beautiful and well appointed. The chef’s kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to whip up multiple meals with guests—they even have a pancake spatula. The upstairs TV room is super cozy and perfect for a movie night. The spa is well maintained and perfectly placed for relaxing and viewing the stars. The home is modern, luxuriously furnished, and in a great location. The view is otherworldly. We did not want to leave. Shanan is a great communicator and sent us a helpful summary of nearby attractions and dining recommendations before our arrival. I highly recommend this place. It’s awesome.

this is by far one of the most beautiful places I've seen! Situated above the treelines overlooking the Lake, this custom home has large vaulting ceilings in the living room with expansive floor to ceiling windows, views views views, that will awe your guests, and make for a wonderful getaway. The place is immaculate in cleanliness, yet comfortable to relax! There were only 4 of us, for a family getaway, but the house is so well layed out that a group of 10 would be perfect too. I'm so glad I decided to spend the extra to stay here, it was well worth it!!! Thank you Shanan for sharing your most beautiful home!!

Wonderful family getaway
We had a fantastic week with an extended family vacation with 6 adults at this terrific home. From the very first moment when we walked in to see the jaw dropping view of Lake Tahoe and the snow-capped mountains in the distance, we knew we were in a special place.
The communication with Shanan before and during our stay was outstanding. We received a lot of tips and guidance about things to do ahead of time, and our questions during our stay were answered very quickly.
This is a great home base to explore and experince all of Lake Tahoe. The house is really well equipped. The deck was a great place to start the day with a morning cup of coffee. We used the hot tub several times - a great way to relax after a day of hiking. We also used the grill to make brats and also some home-made pizzas.
Overall, a great home with great amenities and great views of the lake and mountains. And, the experience to book and get our questions answered was flawless.
We couldn't imagine a better place to spend a week in Lake Tahoe.

Beautiful scenic property that could accommodate our large group. The property was well stocked with all the essentials and clean. The kitchen and grill were well stocked with all the tools you need to prepare an elaborate meal. Shanan was very accommodating when severe snow threw our plans off track. If snow is forecasted, bring chains and know how to use them because the neighborhood roads are quite steep.

Hearing an Angels' Chorus All Week Long
The 5-start experience starts with the owner, Shanan. Very helpful communications in advance of arriving, responsive, flexible, and thoughtful (i.e., anticipating lots of questions and needs that renters would have and providing answers/directions in advance and/or with labeling throughout the house). Then, there's the location. Easy 5-15 minute access to everything that South Lake Tahoe has to offer. And then there's the house itself. I'll just say that what you see is what you get, meaning that the pictures in the listing capture the experience. I felt that I was walking into a house that I already knew after reviewing the pictures many times. And while the view is unbelievably stunning, it's hard to understand how much it is the backdrop to almost everything you do in the house...watching TV on the beautiful 85" tv in the cozy upstairs living space? And there's Lake Tahoe (queue angels' chorus). Cooking? And there's Lake Tahoe (angels' chorus). Eating? And there's Lake Tahoe (angels' chorus). Hanging in the hot tub? Yup, Lake Tahoe (yup, angels' chorus). I'm going to miss waking up, coming out of the bedroom and seeing Lake Tahoe and the mountains and the trees welcome me...(with an angels' chorus:) every morning. This place is truly special and offers stress-reducing relaxation unlike any other place I've been. I look forward to hopefully having the opportunity to stay there again in the future!
