We had a great time during our little winter break getaway. The house is amazing and was extremely comfortable for the 32 people we had staying there. The kids had a great time with all the different activities that this house offers. Parking was fantastic even with our 30-foot-long snowmobile trailer. I would highly recommend this house to everyone.

The house was perfect for our extended family Christmas gathering. The bunk rooms were awesome and stocked with some fun toys for the kids. The pool table, foosball, and basketball hoop were fun for everyone. There was plenty of space for all. Lots of extra blankets and pillows around. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. The host was responsive when we contacted him. I highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the farmhouse! We've stayed at a lot of houses in Bear Lake and this was a favorite! Lots of beds, great dining space, kitchen was well stocked and we loved the location!
We missed having a TV in the great room because the whole family couldn't fit in the theater room, but otherwise we had no complaints!

We had a wonderful time. We had 13 adults and 13 children and fit comfortably. The layout is perfect for a large crowd. Would highly recommend this home.

We liked the kitchen/dining area. Plenty of space for everyone to prep meals and eat together. We enjoyed all the different areas: to visit, play board games, watch movies and ball games, and relax. We’ll return for another family gathering time.

This is a spectacular property. The beds are comfortable and the house is very clean. We had a 50 year anniversary celebration here and had almost 40 people. The games, bikes, paddleboards in the outside garage are great. There is an extra fridge and 2 extra freezer spaces. Plenty of parking that's easy to access. The linens and towels are new and fresh. Communication with the owner and house cleaner was top notch. We would love to stay here again.

The farmhouse that remained spacious throughout our stay
What I loved most about this rental was the great hall/dining room/kitchen. Preparing, serving, eating, and cleaning up after meals went smoothly and orderly. There was enough room to have two or three activities going on simultaneously without much interference. And the game room was directly above for the younger ones with those interests and the theater room was the other major attraction. And some liked going over in the separate part of the facility where they could do their thing. So, I think everyone was pleased with the facility.

The Farmhouses are phenomenal getaways. The owners have a real knack for decorating and are some of the most hospitable people you will encounter when renting from strangers online. You can't go wrong here!

Perfect for Spreading Out
This house had everything we needed plus some. The kids and teenagers had space to hang out, the adults had separate spaces, and the dining area was big enough to accommodate our whole crew which is sometimes hard to find. The house was clean and well stocked, there were separate bathrooms and bedrooms aplenty, and we loved it. The only thing we noticed that was kind of strange was that the master bathroom had no door on it. Other than that, splendid wekened! :)

Birthday getaway
I messaged the owner very last minute as another listing I was renting cancelled our trip due to their own personal issues. I was so incredibly stressed and the owner completely set my mind at ease and totally saved our little stay-cation. The property is more impressive in person. And we absolutely plan on returning next year!

Wonderful- but be prepared for snow
This was a beautiful home and perfect for our family Christmas gathering. The huge beautifully decorated tree set the perfect festive mood. The house is designed specifically for multiple families to gather so everyone had their space. We never felt crowded. We did have some issues with the electrical breakers in the kitchen and great room tripping a few times, but Travis responded immediately to fix the problem.
Our one hiccup came at the end of our stay. A snow storm that was supposed to arrive during the week that we were there, came a couple days late and made it impossible for some of our vehicles to make it out - so we were stranded. There are no hotels in Garden City - only vacation rentals. Travis offered to reach out to his contacts to find a place. We were extremely lucky to find a place to stay for the night (at a premium). The lesson learned is to be prepared with chains for your vehicles if you are going to Garden City in the winter because there were none to be purchased in town. That storm was no joke. Our stressful exit did not diminish the wonderful time we had as a family. It just added to the memories. But we may do Christmas at the beach next time 😊.

Bear Lake Getaway
This home is beautiful, has plenty of space, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the (what felt like) new furnishings including the nice beds, bedding, and furniture. We appreciated little details like quality soap, garbage bags, and plenty of towels and blankets. The home was very clean. The owners were very responsive and helpful when we had a need. This was a great home for all ages with toys and creative home ideas in the rooms for our kids, to foosball and air hockey, to a comfortable movie room. There were plenty of beds which was nice. It was also nice to have resources to use outdoors even though it was a bit cold for us to do so on our stay.
The main concern that came up with family members was the windows/curtains. While there are some curtains in the rooms, some of the children would have slept better if they were thicker. There are homes and roads close to this house and as a result you can see headlights at times, lights from the neighbors homes, etc. Adding curtains and/or blinds in bedrooms and the main living room would make this house even better for sleeping and privacy.

The area was beautiful and the house was perfectly set up with everything we needed for a large family gathering. Lots of table space for meals and games and plenty of beds and baths! Wonderful house and we had a great time!

The bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms were well appointed. The relaxation spaces were comfortable. The bathrooms were very plentiful. The kitchen had two dishwashers, and 1.5 ovens, so that was great. The media room, multiple TVs, and entertainment options were all great. If I had a large group I'd definitely stay here again.Some comments and complements:- The bedding was nice. Perfect Retreat House
This house is perfect for retreats and large gatherings. We had 20 women for a business retreat and it was amazing! Each woman had their own bed and space to spread out. We enjoyed the large kitchen and gathering spaces to sit together. We will be coming back next year!

Perfect for big families!
We have been coming to Bear Lake for years and have had a hard time finding the right house for our family. We have a big group with a lot of little kids. This house was just what we have been looking for! It is beautiful and spacious, with plenty of space to cook, eat, and play. The lawn was super fun for the kids, and location is perfect. Host was responsive and even brought over another to remote when we couldn’t find one. The beds are extremely comfortable and there were plenty of towels and toiletries! 10/10, best place we have stayed!

Our family all said what a nice spacious place and I think there were a few things that would have been better but nothing major. They provided good supplies of things and Travis was very willing to help if needed.
